The Dlarit Special Operations Group, more commonly known simply as D-SOG, is the Dlarit Corporation's external hazard intervention, espionage, intelligence and logistics unit. It serves as the special forces and army counterpart to the domestic security provided by the Dlarit Security Force. While still a subsidiary to the Corporation as a whole, the Special Operations Group maintains a large state of autonomy within the Corporation as more often than not its members report directly to the Board of Directors instead of a specific military representative. Composed of a careful blend of Foxtrot Uniforms and Commissioned personnel, the members of the Special Operations Group are the only beings in the Corporation who are truly aware of the dark nature that controls the entire organization.

History
Naga Sadow is the body of Sons, Daughters and Disciples who serve Astronicus Aurelius Sadow, the heir of the Sadow dynasty and Overlord of the Clan. The Disciples of Sadow have reorganized several times between a House or Clan of the Dark Brotherhood but in 33 ABY, the cults of Marka Ragnos and Ludo Kressh were united once more when the Sadow dynasty reaffirmed its singular rule as a House; since then the Disciples have continued under Astronicus' rule as a Clan operating behind the guise of the Dlarit Corporation. In the years surrounding Exodus, the Clan's followers also adopted the teachings of Urias Orian in addition to those of its three originating cults of disciples; recently however the Disciples of Sadow maintain a more imperialistic doctrine focusing on the revival of the true Sith Empire.
The documented reasoning for Special Operation Group's establishment in the early part of 28 ABY was due to the failures by the Corporation's Security Force to be able to both police their assets and handle matters of external security. In truth the Group was conceived following the defeat at the Battle of Antei in 27 ABY.

When the true identity of Corporation's owners was compromised during the Yuuzhan Vong attack mass panic broke out among the troops and only the impending doom staved off a total mutiny. This served to highlight the urgent need for a unit aware of the true nature of their leaders and in early 28 ABY with the drafting of Executive Order 28-021, more commonly known as the Orian System Security Act, a section of the Dlarit Security Force was consolidated into a single independent unit to become Special Operations Group.
Brief history
Astronicus Era History
<!-- History should be more refined and almost "briefing" like, origins to present if possible -->

Unlike the Security Force a decision was made not to subdivide the Group on the understanding a consolidated structure would provide more security and limit the chance of leaks. Since the Group's inception, the unit has evolved and grown alongside the Corporation and its masters; as of the Corporation's reorganization in 34 ABY, the SOG found itself virtually under the direct authority of the Board of Directors. This change was essential by design as the refocused Naval and Armed forces assets controlled by the Corporation were now being provided by the Corporation's true masters and their leaders instead of the Corporation proper.
The House began when Astronicus Dlarit was visited by a ghost who inspired him to gather rogue Dark Jedi to his banner. Tron did this, bringing together a ragtag group from various backgrounds at his home on Sif, of which he was then the governor. The spirit then revealed itself to be Naga Sadow and Tron sought out the lost tribes of Ludo Kressh and Marka Ragnos, together forming the alliance known as Clan Naga Sadow.

Organization
For a time the Clan operated peacefully under the guise of the Dlarit Corporation until the betrayal of the Imperial Remnant and the ensuing Exodus. Led by the visions of Urias Orian as discerned by Trevarus Caerick through his Amulet, the Clan relocated to the lost Orian system and adopted many of the forgotten teachings found there. The Clan and Corporation then prospered for several years until the invasion of the galaxy by the Yuuzhan Vong and the five years of warfare that followed.
Central Command
As with most of the Dlarit Corporation, Central Command is virtually dominated by the presence of Foxtrot Uniforms who are better known as the Disciples of Sadow. Unlike many other facets of the Corporation however, the Group's Central Command operates with a mixture of high-ranking Commissioned Officers loyal to the Corporation and the Board of Directors itself. While the much of the upper echelons of the Board are unable to busy themselves with the day-to-day operation of the Group, much of that monotony is handled by the aforementioned Commissioned Officers, such as Fleet Admiral Araic Simonetti or General Byron Cargas, or by high ranking Commanders and Directors of the Corporation.

Within the Foxtrot Uniforms of the Group, a specific ranking structure is maintained in relation to the rank granted them by the Board and outside forces. These ranks are referred to as Commanders and are divided into three ranks: Commander, Senior Commander and Marshal Commander. Commander is reserved for the youngest and most inexperienced members of these Disciples, Senior Commander is the title for those who have gained the wisdom to lead but have not yet learned enough to be seen as the Elders of their peers and finally Marshal Commander is for those who are only surpassed by the most wisened of them all or those who have served the Corporation as President. Outside of the Commanders, there lies a another position on the Board of Directors less involved with the Corporation itself; Directors are members of the Corporation who either operate small operational cells or have served in a magnitude above and beyond the call of duty, these individuals have been accepted into the Chairman's family and even share his name.
The Yuuzhan Vong War took its toll and the Clan lost much, not just journeymen but even among its greatest elders; some fell in battle, but many more were lost in spirit. During the war Orian became something of a haven for refugees and its cities bulged at the walls to support them, but they helped maintain the armed forces in the face of the many threats the system faced over the years. Even with the Vong Empire defeated, the Orian Sector remains a particularly dangerous location.

In open combat and in the field, the standard operating procedure (SOP) is for all command to cycle through the Board of Directors in its entirety before falling to Foxtrot Uniform Commanders and then finally the standard chain of command. As one would suspect, SOP maintains this unusual chain of command only for those present so as to not interfere with the affairs of the Board as they may be completing tasks beyond the scope of the Group or Corporation proper. In large scale engagements, such as those where the Board may be responding to the call of outside forces, the Special Operations Group typically will maintain a small defensive flotilla and armed force within the Orian system at the behest of the Board while engaging enemy assets with a bulk of the Group's assets. Commissioned Officers within Central Command are also trained and conditioned to avoid attachment or allegiance to specific Foxtrot Uniforms as the members upon the Board are known to change at any given moment.
As the Clan looked to the future, it worked to strengthen itself should anything like the Yuuzhan Vong War happen again. To this end the recruit-based Dlarit Security Force was slowly replaced with a loyal clone army in the form of the Special Operations Group. Having weathered the Vong, the Clan believed it could survive anything and returned to working towards the reestablishment of the true Sith Empire, as led by the Sadow dynasty as the heirs to the last true emperor. To this end, the House of Sadow returned from the shadows, bringing all its disciples under one banner for the first time in nearly two decades as House Naga Sadow. While the cults of Dakhan, Goluud, Kressh and Ragnos remain, Clan Naga Sadow continues to weather whatever is thrown their way and look toward the future with their Overlord's vision of one, united Sadow Empire.

Commissioned Assets
Government and Politics
Commissioned military personnel create the bulk of the Special Operations Group and consistantly undergo a rigid training regiment and doctrine to ensure that their loyality to the Corporation is unwaving and their composure in combat alongside or against Foxtrot Uniforms is as strong as Beskar. Earning a commission for the Group requires extensive mental and physical exams in addition to several interviews to determine if they are a proper fit for the Corporation. The examinations are primarily done at recruitment centres such as the Group's Headquarters in Kar Alabrek, though smaller recruitment centres exist aboard the station Onyx 2 and within the Dlarit-Dakhani Tower of Kel Rasha; rarely candidates are directed to Dlarit through their Legate with the Galactic Alliance or their allies within the Corporate Sector Authority. This process has many points in which the potential candidate can be "washed-out", driven from the program and conditioned for life in the Dlarit Security Force, other positions within the Corporation or simply back into civilian life. Only candidates who have successfully cleared all the tests of the examination are permitted the truth about the Corporation's leadership, and even then this knowledge is only gleaned when the candidate is aware that if this information were to even potentially become public knowledge that their life is forfeit.
While Naga Sadow has often changed its standing within the Dark Brotherhood, its policies and politics themselves have been much less fluid. Historically perceived as a Corporatocracy, the Disciples of Sadow have long shown their dominance under the guise of the Dlarit Corporation. While this veil is widely perceived, it is only in part a truth as the difference between a strong Corporation and a powerful Empire is hard to spot, especially when Corporations themselves are often perceived as empires.

Once candidates have been admitted into the Group, they undergo constant training and conditioning alongside other troopers and Commanders to prepare themselves for future engagements. Personnel who prove their loyalty and skill to the Corporation and the Group are rewarded for their dedication and often those who's experience combined with their skill permit them to achieve more important positions within the Group such as Chief of Staff, Fleet Commander or Marine Commandant. Advancement into the ranks of Officers is rare but not unwarrented, the personnel who achieve these ranks often finding themselves at the call of the Board of Directors for their loyalty and proven ability for success. While life within the Special Operations Group is particularily harsh for commissioned personnel, these operatives have become much more vital to the Corporation following its reorganization in 34 ABY and as such have seen an improvement in their conditions within Orian space. Much of the danger of their lives lies within the potential for members of the Corporation being angered at their failures or the threat of combat against other Foxtrot Uniforms.
Behind all of the Corporate facade, Naga Sadow is lead by a Conclave or Council of capable leaders; these same people amongst the most devout of the Disciples, the "blessing" of the Dark Council given for their appointment but above all else, the installation of these councilors has been appointed by Lord Astronicus Sadow himself or by extension through the Corporation's President. The President themselves are supported by a Vice-president and various Directors, though these positions themselves are mostly formalities and an administrative aide typically operates to ensure the Corporation proper continues to strive without interference from the Disciples of Sadow.

Conditioning and a strict doctrine will only leave so much of an impact upon the Commissioned personnel, their own emotions and behaviours still having quite a large sway upon how well these individuals perform for the Corporation. Fear and respect are often the most reported emotions amongst these personnel, especially during large engagements when Commanders are often known to lose their cool. While these emotions are the most often recorded, conditioning ensures that when these personnel are on-duty they are one-hundred percent focused upon ensuring the success of the Special Operations Group and the Corporation.
Politically, the Disciples of Sadow respect and follow the guidance of the Dark Brotherhood's Council; though this allegiance seems to be strong, as the heirs to the Sith Empire, it remains to be seen if this is a permanent alliance. They also often find themselves at odds with the other units within the Dark Brotherhood, none moreso than the heretics of Scholae Palatinae who believe themselves to be the true heirs to the Empire. Outside of Brotherhood space, the Disciples of Sadow have a political and corporate connection to the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, or Galactic Alliance. Politically, the Galactic Alliance honours a Legate from the Dlarit Corporation and this representative ensures that the Alliance does not ask any questions further than the Corporation's business activities.

Explain how the Dlarit Corporation operates as a Front Organization and how limited its interactions are with the Unit proper.
The Dlarit Armed Forces are a joint Military corps consisting of the Army, Commandos and Marines under the command of the Special Operations Group. While prior to the Corporation's reorganization much of the Armed Forces fell under the command of the Security Force, recent changes have seen a large degree of control shifted to the Chief of Staff to co-ordinate the Special Operations Group's dedicated ground forces when times of War arise.

Naval Command
Dlarit Naval Command
The Dlarit Naval Command is the direct authority concerning all Naval vessels controlled by the Corporation and the body controlling all starside or aerospace traffic within the Orian system. Lead by the Fleet Commander, the Naval Command oversees the Navy and former Starfighter Corps and maintains the security of the home system as well as co-ordinates all assets for external affairs.

Much of the information surrounding this branch of the Special Operations Group has been redacted by order of the Board of Directors until further notice, however the limited details that have been leaked reveal that the members of this agency were formerly of the Dlarit-Dakhani branch of the Corporation.
SHADOW
SHADOW
The Strategic Hazard Assessment Division and Operational Warfare agency, otherwise known as SHADOW, was formed in 36 ABY in response to attacks upon the Corporation by external threats and because of an "incident" between members of the Special Operations Group. SHADOW operates as a near-autonomous branch within the Dlarit Corporation under the umbrella of the Special Operations Group, its members receiving clearance above and beyond that of normal SOG personnel to the point that they report directly to the agency's directors and are permitted use of all SOG assets needed for their missions up to and including personnel.

SHADOW

The Strategic Hazard Assessment Division and Operational Warfare agency, more commonly known as SHADOW, is a black operations unit within Naga Sadow comprising the whole of the Disciples of Marka Ragnos. This unit was created in 36 ABY to ensure the continued protection of Naga Sadow from external threats through the collection of intelligence and a highly advanced cyberwarfare defense, a system which has kept them prepared following the Horizon outbreak. Due to its inception and operation as a covert operations division, the whole of the Disciples of Ragnos are inducted as Agents of SHADOW; each tasked in same form with furthering the Sadow Empire through their Black Operations. Besides the Disciples of Ragnos, there are non-Force sensitives within SHADOW who have obtained the title of Agent, although most of these operate as spies and advanced reconnaissance for their masters.

Society and Culture
Explain the rough society and culture of Naga Sadow, how ranks interact with each other, etc, etc, etc

The Disciples of Sadow have a long standing history within the Dark Brotherhood which is full of various cultural backgrounds which have all united in pursuit of the vision of a restored Sith Empire. Nowhere is this more seen than in the fact that four different societies of varied Disciples have joined the banner of the Sadow dynasty: Ludo Kressh, Marka Ragnos, Primus Goluud and Shar Dakhan. While each of these societies have operated differently and each still retained their own identity, each fought bravely for the glory of the Sadow Empire.

Amongst the Disciples, loyalty to the the dynasty is lauded above all else. Those honoured enough to bear the name of Sadow such as the Sons and Daughters rewarded by Astronicus' hand, are amongst the most revered of the Disciples themselves; only those appointed to the Summit of Naga Sadow by the Overlord's will are considered the absolute pinnacle of the Imperial vision. Aside from the honoured Summit and Sadow, the Disciples typically maintain equal footing amongst each other, either as Operators or Agents of the Sadow Empire; each a formidable cog within the Overlord's vision towards a renewed supremacy of the Galaxy.

Astrography
Orian system
The Orian system is a 7-planet system, located on the outskirts of Sith Space in the Outer Rim, which was discovered by the Sith Lord Urias Orian over five millenia ago. It is located in the Esstran Sector at the "northern" end of the Trans-Hydian Borderlands between the two Super-hyperroutes: the Hydian Way and Perlemian Trade Route. Orian rests on the "northern" outskirts of the Stygian Caldera, the large nebulosity that encircles the worlds of the original Sith Empire. It is not far from the Listehol Run, which connects with the Shaltin Tunnels, therefore placing the entire system within trading distance of the Corporate Sector where the Dlarit Corporation regularly does business. It is a unique binary system consisting of a red giant, Orian Major, and a yellow dwarf, Orian Minor. While being a binary system is not overly unique in and of itself, the fact that the companion star orbits its host nimbly between the system's Astroid belt of Dentavii and its sixth planet of Tarthos without destroying the system is rather astonishing, though this also provides severe climate distortions throughout the system. Understandably, due to the orbital patterns of the stars and the various astral bodies within the system, a standard passage of day and night are nearly impossible to adjust to and have been quoted as "irritable and erratic" by many individuals accustomed to the system.

Historically Orian was abandoned following the Great Hyperspace War and its location became difficult to ascertain until the arrival of Urias Orian and subsequently the Disciples of Sadow; however its location near the Hydian Way and the Orian Pipeline itself has found an increase in traffic since the Yuuzhan Vong War when refugees began to overwhelm the system. As such Orian and its surrounding Hyperspace routes are heavily patrolled by the Dlarit Naval Command under the authority of the Special Operations Group and Corporation who publicly maintain control over the entire system to ensure the security of both the civilian population and its true masters.

Sepros
Sepros
Sepros is the true Capital of the Disciples of Sadow, their main base of operations in the New Sadow Palace. Its a heavily forested world covered in trees very similar to the great Wroshyr trees of Kashyyyk and suffers from torrential rainfall and extreme humidity as a result. Similarly to Kashyyyk, the planet's surface rarely has the light of Orian's twin stars falling upon it and such as a "shadow lands" which often serve as home and breeding grounds to the many hostile creatures of Sepros, both native and those imported long ago by the Sith Lord Orian. While the planet itself is quite unruly and often chaotic from the extremely heavy saturation of Dark Side energies, it does often maintain a presence of Dlarit officers in addition to many esoteric scholars seeking enlightenment into the history of the Sith; while the latter are often from the Brotherhood itself those who aren't just as often find themselves pressed into work for the Dlarit Corporation. Aside from military and scholastic pursuits, Sepros is also heavily mined by the Corporation for its rich Baradium veins located beneath the ancient Orian temples. Sepros itself is often avoided by the general civilian population due to a rather pressing sense of dread and foreboding emanating from the planet, it is also a restricted zone within the Orian system in part due to the prevalence of Darksiders but also due to the dangers of the local wildlife tainted and driven insane by the Dark Side.

In recent times the planet has unearthed more extensive ruins within the crash site of the Plagueian VSDII Ballista followed a failed incursion against the Disciples of Sadow.

"... As long as I draw breath, Naga Sadow lives. As long as I hold this sword, Naga Sadow's strength endures. As long as we remain ever vigilant, Clan Naga Sadow will never fall! Long live the Heirs to the Empire..."
Astronicus Aurelius Sadow

Brief history

Main articles: Astronicus Era History and New Sadow Era History

The House began when Astronicus Dlarit was visited by a ghost who inspired him to gather rogue Dark Jedi to his banner. Tron did this, bringing together a ragtag group from various backgrounds at his home on Sif, of which he was then the governor. The spirit then revealed itself to be Naga Sadow and Tron sought out the lost tribes of Ludo Kressh and Marka Ragnos, together forming the alliance known as Clan Naga Sadow.

Government and Politics

While Naga Sadow has often changed its standing within the Dark Brotherhood, its policies and politics themselves have been much less fluid. Historically perceived as a Corporatocracy, the Disciples of Sadow have long shown their dominance under the guise of the Dlarit Corporation. While this veil is widely perceived, it is only in part a truth as the difference between a strong Corporation and a powerful Empire is hard to spot, especially when Corporations themselves are often perceived as empires.

Astrography

Main article: Orian system

Major Locations

Sepros

New Sadow Palace, the Sadowan Headquarters
Main article: Sepros
