The Strategic Hazard Assessment Division and Operational Warfare agency, otherwise known as SHADOW, was formed in 36 ABY by Executive Director Kalia Pepoi and Senior Director Methyas Pepoi L'eonheart in response to recent attacks upon the Corporation by external threats and because of the "incident" between members of the Special Operations Group. The formation of this agency was fully approved by the Board of Directors; chief amongst them President Sonjie, Vice-president Ventus and Chairman Sadow. SHADOW operates as a near-autonomous branch within the Dlarit Corporation under the umbrella of the Special Operations Group, its members receiving clearance above and beyond that of normal SOG personnel to the point that they report directly to the agency's directors and are permitted use of all SOG assets needed for their missions up to and including personnel.

Operational Directives
SHADOW agents have been granted a high degree of autonomy and oversight by order of the Board of Directors; the Executive and Senior Directors assigning each agent specific tasks to ensure the continued success and security of the Dlarit Corporation. Utilizing the mentality that "the best defense is a good offense", many of the missions carried out by SHADOW agents are classified as Black Ops and fall under the field of "Operational Warfare". As classified by the SOG directives, "Operational Warfare" are missions wherein agents of the Special Operations Group use any means necessary to attain strategic and/or operational objectives. These missions have been known to fall anywhere from sabotage and subterfuge to assassination and beyond; SHADOW agents are assigned to their missions based on their existing talents and are given further privileges within the agency based on their loyalty to the Corporation above all else.
Operational Headquarters
As an Agency that focused on subtly and stealth as opposed to pure military might, SHADOW maintains several operational Headquarters and safe-houses to ensure that their agents are capable of obtaining their mission objectives. Locations outside of the Orian system are notably redacted from any material that could potentially be released publicly and rumor holds that these locations are constantly relocated by order of the agency's Directors, the pair themselves knowing the location of each agent and safe-house without documentation.

- The Public face of SHADOW is located high within the Executive Levels of the Alabrek Citadel, while still restricted to the public these offices are generally utilized by agents unfit for field work or are used when dignitaries from outside the Dlarit Corporation are present upon Tarthos.

- The main base of operation for SHADOW is a highly restricted sector of the Alabrek Auxiliary beneath the Citadel, further details have been withheld at this time.

- Located deep beneath the former Temple of Shadow, this facility is highly classified and equally restricted to most members of the Dlarit Corporation; utilized primarily as a personal bunker for the Chairman and his family should the system be compromised by hostile forces, this facility has amongst the most secure systems in the Orian system and outside of extreme emergencies is utilized only by the most esteemed members of SHADOW for data acquisition as there are no armories located within this location.
