“Shadesworn” is the name given to the members of Clan Arcona by the denizens of the Dajorra System. The mundane population look to their Force-wielding Dark Jedi as protectors and demi-gods. They are called “Shadesworn” in reference to their undying loyalty to the Shadow Lord of Arcona.

Shadesworn Ranks

In the Arconan Armed Forces, the Shadesworn have their own designated ranks. Shadow Lord and Shadow Scion are the only ranks that require a position to be held. As such, they carry respective sovereignty over Arcona’s Forces.

Even at their lowest rank--Shadeling--a Shadesworn is to be addressed formally as “Sir” or “Madam” by mundane soldiers or officers out of respect. Initiates must first prove themselves to be worthy of recognition among the Armed Forces.

For all Shadesworn castes:

  • Shadesworn ranks are in no way associated with your Dark Jedi Brotherhood rank (such as Journeyman, Equite, Elder) as they measure individual accomplishment and dedication to the Shadow Clan.
  • Tasks and accolades such as recruitment, training a member to DJK, or working on a large project can also serve as stepping stones between castes.
  • Shadesworn ranks are only given to active members of Clan Arcona. Upon return from rogue status, former ranks can be retained.
  • Transfers will be handled as case by case situations.

Shadow Lord

Held by the acting Consul of Clan Arcona.

Power, influence and death emanate from the Shadow Lords as though it is part of their very being. The leader who all Shadesworn are sworn to commands fear from all but the greatest Dark Lords in the galaxy. Nothing short of complete dominance will suffice for the Shadow Lord, every action and expression of willpower a testament to the lengths they will go to retain their power. Supreme Commander of the Arconan Armed Forces, the Shadow Lord engineers the victories that secure Arcona’s continued dominance.

Shadow Lord: Marick Arconae

  • Upon resignation, Shadow Lords are automatically awarded or returned to the rank of Shadeborn.

Shadow Scion

Held by the acting Proconsul of Clan Arcona.

The Shadow Scion is the right hand of the Shadow Lord. They hold the true power and strength to Arcona's day to day operations and efficiency and are entrusted with upholding the Shadow Lords words and decrees. They ensure the Shadow Lords safety above all else. In battle the Shadow Scion serves as the Commander of the Arcona Armed forces, taking orders only from the Shadow Lord himself.

They are often assigned to larger units within the Armed Forces in order to hone their fighting skills and learn at the feet of those who are more experienced. Most Shadelings are blind to the ultimate power that awaits them as they grow in their control over the Dark Side, but these shortsighted soldiers of Arcona are useful in the never ended feuds that are a part of the Brotherhood.

Requirements:

  • Guardian+
  • > 50 Prestige

Initiates

All members of Clan Arcona start as Initiates. By making it past to the rank of Guardian, and earning enough accolades, they may become Shadelings. Service to the Shadow Clan can also be used to facilitate a promotion to Shadeling.

Fade Initiative

The Fade Initiative was established to reward Arconan's for their efforts in recruiting and retaining future Shadesworn. As rewards for these services, Shadesworn of any rank can earn "Fades", expertly trained soldiers within the Arcona Armed Forces. Fades are loyal to the Shadesworn they are assigned, and not Arcona as a whole. The Fade Program draws from Arcona's Mandalorian Clan and Wilderness Rangers. These NPCs require a stub on your wikipedia page, or their own dedicated page to count for fictions and ACB Contracts. Fades are awarded for successfully training a member in Arcona up to Dark Jedi Knight. Your first Fade is a Mandalorian Soldier, with your second being a Wilderness Ranger. A third DJK earns a second Mandalorian Soldier, with 4th and 5th DJKs earning Rangers. At the 6th DJK, a third Mandalorian is awarded. Rangers are then awarded from 7+ DJK.
