The following took place between the years 0 BBY (can also be called 0 ABY) to 9 ABY.

The Rebel base on Hoth is invaded and destroyed by Imperial forces.
Boba Fett collects Jabba the Hutt's bounty on Han Solo after delivering Solo encased in carbonite.
Luke Skywalker begins training under Yoda, but ends it to rescue his friends, and loses a duel with Darth Vader on Bespin.
Black Sun begins to collapse.
Destruction of Drinba IV by the Death Star II.

The Galactic Empire falls after the death of Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader and the Death Star II explodes. The Rebel Alliance later forms the New Republic to replace the Empire.
Alliance to Restore the Republic becomes the Alliance of Free Planets.
Fragmentation of the Galactic Empire.

Declaration of a New Republic signed, the New Republic and the New Republic Provisional Council is established.
Kashyyyk is liberated by the New Republic.
Manaan is liberated by the New Republic.

The Hapan Consortium opens its borders and initiates a diplomatic visit to Coruscant.
