A Battle Team within House Galeres of Clan Arcona
History
Blue Mist is a fairly new Battleteam, created to serve Galeres around the time that the Dark Inquisitors, a House Qel-Droma Battleteam, was installed within Clan Arcona. Blue Mist is the second Battle Team for House Galeres, the other being Soulfire Strike Team, the Elite Team of Arcona. The team is still new but is on the rise. Blue Mist has recently been named the Elite Battleteam of Arcona due to their victory in the Great Hunt II.
Campaigns
- Cian Campaign (NC)
- The first mission of Battleteam Blue Mist under the command of Commander Talos Annedu.
- Results: Commander was injured; No men killed in action; Campaign successful.
- Broken Saber
- Clan responds to Soulfire Strike Teams distress call on the planet of Reecee. Longest campaign of Blue Mist with no substantial injuries. Final results are unknown but extraction of Soulfire and their mission objective was confirmed.
- House Feud
- Galeres and Qel-Droma battle for the title of First House. Galeres triumphs and is named first House. Two of Blue Mist men, Talos and Legorii, earn places in the Galeres Troika. Talos as the Adjunct and Legorii as the Prodigy.
- Results: No men injured or killed; Trooper Illian Syn shot down.
- Rishi (NC)
- Blue Mist is deployed to Rishi to help subjugate areas in the name of House Galeres. During the mission, a mysterious group of Force-Wielders attack Blue Mist. The campaign lasts nearly five months, in which Blue Mist becomes the ruling class of Rishi.
- Results: No men injured or killed; Blue Mist leads a rebellion against the Highlanders and are established as royalty to the Rishi people.
- Selen
- Blue Mist are fielded as Advanced Recon Scouts and destroy key legions of Vong and help establish small footholds of power for the eventual reclaimation of Dajorra. In the end, Blue Mist causes a massive avalanche that destroys a Legion of Yuuzhan Vong and to distract the attention away from the covert strike teams of Soulfire and Prophecy Phyle.
- Results: No men killed, and Blue Mist meets their new Aedile, Vorion. Troopers JScumm and Dorn Ty'Rodius Ravr are both injured.
- Great Hunt II
- Blue Mist races against the clock and the other Battleteams of Arcona for the title of Elite Team of Arcona. Blue Mist triumphs after seven days of grueling events.
- Results: Blue Mist is named the new Battleteam Elite of Arcona and awards are distributed to each member of the Team. Commander d'Tana is selected as the new Aedile of House Galeres.
- Uneasy Alliances
- The first mission undertaken as the Elite Team of Arcona and first one without the steady hand of Commander d'Tana, Blue Mist served as the elite pilots in engagements with both the Starfighter Corps of Clan Scholae Palatinae and then later the Coralskippers of the Yuuzhan Vong.
Results: Blue Mist truly prove their worth as the Elite Team of Arcona and Illian Syn acts as the Commander Pro Tempore.
Notable Events

- Blue Mist undertakes their first campagin, fighting the Gwelio on Cian.
- Operation: Broken Saber is announced and Blue Mist rushes to aid their sister Battleteam, Soulfire, on Reecee.
- The House Feud of Clan Arcona breaks out and Blue Mist find combat in both space and then the ground. House Galeres emerges triumphant.
- Commander d'Tana is made Adjunct of Galeres, while Corporal Kryotek is made Prodigy.
29 ABY
- Commander d'Tana is Knighted.
- Blue Mist deploys to Rishi to help aide the House Galeres expansion.
- Clan Arcona undertakes a scouting mission on Selen.
- Corporal Kryotek is Knighted.
- Legorii is chosen to be the new Tetrarch of newly re-opened Dark Orb and leaves Blue Mist.
- The Great Hunt II is announced and seven days later, Blue Mist is crowned the new Battleteam Elite.
- The Clan-Feud, Uneasy Alliances is launched and this marks the first mission of Blue Mist as the Battleteam Elite.

Armory
Blue Mist Flight Suits
Blue Mist Flight Suit
The basic Flight Suit for Battleteam Blue Mist, this suit is nearly identical to the TIE pilots of the Empire. The suit is all black with blue trim and has the basic utility belt that holds a standard issue pilot's blaster pistol and a clip for lightsabers. The life support pack, however as been upgraded and can assist a downed pilot in the vacuum of space for just about an hour.
Blue Mist Scout Armor
In the air they are Clan Arconas flying arm...on the ground they serve as advanced scouts and are equipped as such. Recently, Proconsul Sashar Kodiak Erinos purchased eight sets of Camo Scout Armor, each costing about 6,000 Galactic Credits each. The armor is usually matte black but the true magic of the armor is a camo generator. The Camo Generator (CamGen) is equipped with many camo 'shades', that with the push of the proper button, changes the armor to that color.

Armor Specifications
Besides the camo generator, the armor is very durable and protective and is equipped with other gadgets that help the Scouts perform to the best of their ability.
- Armor Plating- The armor plates are very durable, made of toughened duraplast and plasteel. The armor has vibro-blades in both gauntlets, activated with a 'nudge' from the Force or a button on the inside of the gauntlet.
- Helmet- The helmet is matte black with a flared jaw section, a dispersal-gas-proof-filter and the visor is a single shallow V-band of toughened duraplast. The real key feature of is visor camera. The camera is in the visor and is equipped with a recorder that can send back up to 2 hours of video that can be beamed back to headquarters. The camera can also mark up to 5 targets and identify targets in the order that they should be taken down which can be sent back to HQ or to the other Scouts.

The Ceremonial Armor has also been upgraded and enhanced over time, making it extremely protective but also flexible.
N'gant Carbine Rifle

The 9118 was a heavy carbine design manufactured by the Rodian owned N'Gant-Zarvel corporation. Sporting a short barrel, the weapon was known for its ease of use, stopping power and exceptional range (for a carbine). This carbine saw its primary use in the field as the preferred service weapon of special forces and guerilla fighters, despite the loud, trademarked thumping sound it produced when it was fired. Blue Mist has attached a silencer to lessen the noise produced and also helps supress the flash from the blaster bolt.
Verpine Shatter Gun

The Verpine Shatter Pistol
Verpine shatter guns were handheld projectile weapons produced by the Verpine. They ranged in size from small handguns to powerful sniper rifles. The weapon was based on a magnetic coil principle, similar to a rail gun. When shot, the weapon would make no sound, but would cause great kinetic damage.
Shatter guns launched metal alloy projectiles using advanced magnetic coils. They were nearly silent, had excellent range and accuracy, and inflicted extremely large amounts of kinetic damage. Unfortunately, they were expensive to obtain and easy to damage. Verpine shatter guns were easy to use, and an inexperienced gunman could do massive damage with a single projectile.
The weapon's projectiles were nearly impossible to block with a lightsaber due to their small size and extreme speed
Shatter guns could be configured for range, making them a very effective sniper or could be built as a pistol. Talos has designed a sleeker design for the weapon, taking away its clunky shape and making to easier to conceal, easier to use and prettier to look at.
Lightsaber
If displayed on dossier. The ceremonial weapon of the Battleteam is the Warlord Hilt with a blue blade. However, Dark Jedi Knights and above can customize their weapons to their liking and the Armory Hilt wielders can pick the blade color of their choosing.

Blue Mist was given twelve upgraded A-9 Vigilance Interceptors to use in space battles. Simple cockpit controls makes the A-9 an easy fighter to learn. While faster than the TIE Interceptor, it has a weaker hull due to deliberate design choices made to reduce mass. Thanks to independent power generators, however, the weapons system is quite powerful for a ship of its size.
The A-9 is armed with two laser cannons, mounted in a structure on the ventral side of the fuselage. They are fire-linked and aimed forward in their standard configuration, but several modifications exist which allows the gun to pivot 90 degrees down to perform strafing runs, as well as allowing the cannons to be independently targeted. These cannons are more powerful than those of a T-65 X-wing starfighter, which has also come as a surprise to most enemies fighting this little, yet powerful ship. And in the hands of a Dark Jedi, it is a force to be reckoned with.
Ground
The Blue Mist Speederbike
The Battleteam was given twelve Aratech speederbikes for when the Calvary takes to the ground. As with the A-9s, only seven of these are currently in use. They are capable of reaching speeds up to and beyond five hundred kilometers per hour, and have a flight ceiling of twenty-five meters. They are controlled by handlebars located towards the front of the vehicle, and foot pedals slung underneath adjusted speed and altitude.
The highly maneuverable vehicles are equipped with sensor and communications devices located between the handlebars, including a comlink-jamming device. They are armed with a forward rotating blaster cannon for combat.
They were also equipped with a very powerful boost that could propel them over vast distances in a shorter amount of time.
Base of Operations
The new Battleteam does not have a base to call their own at the moment. However, Blue Mist currently occupies the House Galeres flagship BAC Darkest Night along with the rest of the House. The Team docks their ships within the wide hangar and they have their own set of barracks and conference room as well as a small lounge and storage room that they have converted into an armory. Finally a small room off the armory serves as the Commander's personal office.
