One of the highest honors an Arconan can receive is to be awarded the title di Tenebrous Arconae. It is an achievement that rewards long term leadership, activity, and service to the Clan, as well as having a positive impact on the Brotherhood as a member of Arcona. Although the title is awarded for the real life efforts of the member who earns the honorific, the member may choose which, if any, of their in-universe characters to apply it to. The title is strictly honorary, and does not entitle members to any special influence over clan affairs beyond being a respected voice for their dedication and commitment to the Clan.
Criteria
The Arcona Clan title has meant different things to different people over the Clans history. After a collaborative effort between the Summit the existing title holders, and the members, the criteria has now been reconciled into guidelines that can best be represented by a member following a path of Leadership, Service, and/or Activity.
Obtaining: All members of Clan Arcona are eligible to earn the Clan Title. They are required to do the following:
- Spend two (2) years in Clan Arcona
- Earn 500,000 Clan Credits

- Spend six (6) months in Clan Arcona
Forfeit of Title
An Arconae forfeits their clan title when they transfer to another Clan, or external action is taken by the Grand Masters or Justicar. Rogues does not count and a title holder will retain their title.
Grace Period
If outside of the grace period of (7) days, any return to Arcona will temporarily reset that member's baseline requirements by half the requirement amount (not half of their earned amount) and none of the baseline requirements can drop below 0.
Once they've earned their way back up to the baseline, the temporary resetting of their baseline requirements is removed and any and all years, credits, and competitions they gained for the Clan will count toward the point system.
This temporary reset ONLY impacts the baseline numbers and only as long as it takes to satisfy the baseline. Any leadership time you've spent, DC staff time, credit totals, and competitions organized will all be present and apply toward Arconae once the baseline is met (including what you've earned in the interim).

Ceremonial Ink
As an optional narrative choice that is more about tradition than anything else: all Arconae are marked by a runic tattoo etched with black ink. The tattoo consists of the Arcona emblem entombed in a circle of runic markings. The ink, fused with Sith Alchemy techniques, is unique in that it is poisonous to anyone else besides the bearer. This means that an individual batch of ink is made for each new Arconae. This aspect of the tattoo helps lay claim to validity of the Arconae in question as the ink would kill anyone else trying to impersonate them.
Historical Process (Legacy)
Historically, Arconae were voted in by the existing body of Arconae with a simple majority required to induct a member. Anyone who earned the title previously has retained their title out of respect for the contributions.

Qualifications
The title of di Tenebrous Arconae is awarded to those who have shown unwavering dedication and loyalty to Clan Arcona though long-standing activity and leadership; being a positive influence on Clan culture; and going above and beyond to help, encourage, and mentor their fellow Arconans.
|
Induction
Prospective members are nominated by an Active Arconae, or the Arconan Consul. Such nominations are voted on by all Active Arconae. Votes are held via email. All Arconae are emailed or messaged with the prospective member's information and the reason(s) for their nomination. The Arconae then have a week to discuss and cast votes. A simple In-favor is required to bestow the title of Arconae. Non-voting members do not count for or against.
|
Responsibilities
Arconae are expected to represent Clan Arcona in a positive light. They are role models that should serve as a beacon for the expectations and values the Clan strives to maintain in terms of inclusion and empowerment. They are also granted an advisory role to the Clan Summit, which is a privilege, not a right.
