The following took place between the years 0 BBY (can also be called 0 ABY) to 9 ABY.

Events

0 BBY

Dissolution of the Imperial Senate.
Destruction of Alderaan by the Death Star.
The first Death Star is destroyed by Luke Skywalker.
The Rebel Base on Yavin IV is evacuated.

3 ABY

The Rebel base on Hoth is invaded and destroyed by Imperial forces.
Boba Fett collects Jabba the Hutt's bounty on Han Solo after delivering Solo encased in carbonite.
Luke Skywalker begins training under Yoda, but ends it to rescue his friends, and loses a duel with Darth Vader on Bespin.

4 ABY

The Galactic Empire falls after the death of Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader and the Death Star II explodes.
Alliance to Restore the Republic becomes the New Republic.
Fragmentation of the Galactic Empire.

5 ABY

The Battle of Jakku signals the last great conflict of the Galactic Civil War, and the final blow to the Galactic Empire.
The Galactic Concordance is signed between the New Republic and the remnants of the Empire as a result of their defeat on Jakku.
Kane Vader returns from exile and becomes Dark Lord of the Sith. The Dark Brotherhood is established.
Kane departs, Jedgar O. Paladin becomes the new Dark Lord.
The Shadow Academy is established.

6 ABY

Kreeayt Havok becomes the new Dark Lord of the Sith.

7 ABY

The Other becomes Dark Lord of the Sith.
The Other Uprising; after unearthing the ruins of an ancient Obelisk temple, the Other resurrects the Obelisk Order before abdicating the Iron Throne and fleeing the Dark Brotherhood to pursue his own ends. He is hunted down and killed by Jac Cotelin.
Jac Cotelin succeeds the Other as Dark Lord of the Sith.
Using the information contained in one of the holocrons from the Obelisk ruins, Jac Cotelin resurrects the concept of the Star Chamber, itself based on the Sith Council of the Old Sith Empire, as an advisory body to the Dark Lord of the Sith.

8 ABY

Justinian Khyron becomes Dark Lord of the Sith.
First Brotherhood Civil War. The Clans are manipulated into conflict to prove their worth by Chancellor Morgoth with many believing it is truly the work of the Star Chamber.
Clan Aquillas is closed due to low numbers.

9 ABY

Stryker briefly becomes Dark Lord before the return of Khyron.
Thedek becomes Dark Lord of the Sith.
Kaine Mandaala becomes the 15th Herald of the Dark Brotherhood.
Callus Bo'Amar enters the Imperial Academy.
