Competition Awards are given out for placement in any valid Brotherhood competition.
Crescents
Crescents are awarded for placing in competitions. Cast from hollinium in the shape of the dark star eclipsing the former Brotherhood homeworld of Antei. Each Crescent is studded with jewels varying from quartz to diamond, dependent upon its value. Imbued with dark energy, these jewels are believed to be taken from the stores of Sith Lord Okemi. The most active members of the Brotherhood possess quite a collection of Crescents.
Crescent Levels
Crescents come in seven variants, each more prestigious and valuable than the last. From least to greatest value, they are: Quartz, Topaz, Emerald, Sapphire, Amethyst, Ruby, and Diamond.
Crescent Awards
Crescents are awarded automatically when a competition closes. Which crescents are awarded is based on how many participants entered the competition, and which crescent each member gets is based on their placement. For competitions with under ten participants, the top three placements get crescents with emerald, topaz, and quartz stars, respectively. Beginning with ten participants, every additional five entries to the competition adds another crescent level. So at ten participants, the top four placements get sapphire, emerald, topaz, and quartz starred crescents, respectively. At 25 participants or more, the competition will award the full set of crescents across the top seven finishers.
Competitions that award novae (see below) always award the full set of crescents for fourth through tenth place.

Novae
Novae are awarded for exceptional performance in vendetta level events such as a Rite of Supremacy or Great Jedi War. Novae are awarded in three types of Gold, Silver, and Bronze which correspond respectively to the first, second, and third place members in each event. The remaining top ten placements are awarded crescents, beginning with a diamond star for fourth place.
Seals
Seals are awarded for participation and judging of Rites of Supremacy, Independence Games, and Great Jedi Wars, typically in a ratio of one seal per event. Traditionally, a new seal is created for each major vendetta or competition.
