"”The ultimate combination of skill and bravado. The force is within him, I can feel it. ”"
―Selene to Pysko, circa 24 ABY

Cop, swooper, leg breaker, Dark Jedi, Obelisk, Equite, Shadesworn. All these things describe Etah, but even together are insufficient to define him. He is more than you think, he is less than you want, he is a walking contradiction and he is beyond reason or definition. Etah is the embodiment of excellence and the personification of service. The Mirialan’s cold silence belies a burning passion. He is the flurrying rage and the foreboding shadow. He is a steward and stalwart of Arcona and he is standing right behind you.

Character History

Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (15 BBY-1 ABY/0-17 yrs old)

"”I was born the seventh son, of a seventh son. I always knew my lineage carried great power” "
―Etah to Selene, Circa 24 ABY
File:Etah5.jpg
Etah during his awkward teen years

Born on Mirial in the Outer Rim, Etah's mother died in childbirth and his father was a Confederacy war hero. The father had been the seventh and last son, in a family with no girls. He would go on to have seven sons and like his father before him, no girls. Etah was the last of his sons. Etah's birth family was proud of both their Confederacy roots and their ancestors service to Darth Revan's Sith Empire, Mirial having sided with both in the course of its history.

Though raised without a mother and alienated from his much older siblings, Etah's childhood on Mirial was typical enough. He made average marks in school, was decently successful with the opposite sex and fenced competitively. His father was a retired and spent much of his time with his fellow Clone Wars veterans. Not caring for the company of old men, Etah spent his free time with friends. This led to many exploits involving girls, liqueur and partying, but nothing that got out of hand.

Imperial Sector Ranger (2-5 ABY/18-20 yrs old)

"Dedicated, passionate, courageous and without fear. Ethical to the point of disloyalty."
―Excerpt from a Etah's yearly performance review, circa 4 ABY
File:Etah.jpg

As he reached young adulthood, Etah was recruited into the Imperial Sector Ranger's. The Imperial Rangers were a criminal investigations division that predated the Empire. This, along with the fact that he was recruited from the outer rim, made it possible for him to join Imperial service despite his near-human heritage. For his training he was shipped out to the Imperial Training Center on nearby Daluuj.

At the Imperial Training Center, training was conducted in general subjects such as basic individual military tactics and movement and dynamic and deliberate entry, military operations in urban terrain. As well as more specialized topics, such as criminal law, the justice system and criminal investigation. Etah proved extraordinarily adept at the Sector Ranger skill set.

The Mirialan's Initial Training at the Imperial Training Center lasted six months, after which Etah was assigned to the Albanin sector, which included the Daluuj system. During his service in the Albanin sector, Etah was able to obtain advanced instruction in shadowing, infiltration, pursuit and undercover work. This training was obtained in multiple week long seminars, spread throughout his assignment in the Albanin sector.

During the two and a half year period after his initial training that he served as a rank and file Imperial Sector Ranger Etah was assigned to the Special Weapons and Tactics Division of the Imperial Rangers. As a SWAT Ranger he pursued high risk arrests and protected Imperial VIP’s. In his three years of service, the Mirialan was promoted to sergeant and received five service commendations. His attention to detail, his skills and his courage got him considered for service as a Special Enforcement Officer.

Special Enforcement Officer (6-11 ABY/21-26 yrs old)

"Etah isn’t without fear, he simply acts without thought and has the luck of a cat."
―Passing comment from a coworker, circa 8 ABY

Etah as a Special Enforcement Officer

Etah was transferred to the Imperial Sector Ranger Office on Myomar in the Celanon Spur and was appointed as a Special Enforcement Officer. Etah's job as a Special Enforcement Officer involved routine criminal instigation and apprehension. He had authority to grant immunity to prosecution, issue subpoenas and warrants, he could search public and private property, and seize potential evidence and illegal goods. He had the authority to arrest and he had the authority to “compel statements” from suspects. He also had a limited authority to direct other Imperial assets.

In the first year as a Special Enforcement Officer, Etah personally secured the arrest, prosecution and conviction of dozens of highly wanted criminals. Some of them were high ranking Imperial military officers, influential Imperial bureaucrats, and wealthy Imperial business people, as well as the normal assortment of pirates, slavers, assassins, Mob enforcers, and [[starwars:bounty hunter|bounty hunters.

On some of the harder pursuits Etah was forced to go under light cover, but his last and most challenging assignment forced him into deep cover. He was sent to expose and dismantle a powerful black market centered around the Celanon Spur. In order to do this, he went in deep cover in an outlaw swoop club called the Damned. The Damned were founded and populated by Mirialan Confederacy Veterans, some of whom were friends of his fathers.

The Damned Swoop Club were against the black market because it overcharged near-humans from the Outer-Rim and ultimately funneled profit to human owned companies in the Corporate Sector. So they let the son of a local war hero prospect with them, knowing his mission and his intentions. At Etah's behest the Damned started buying weapons from the black market and selling spice to the Black Market.

Etah fit in with the Damned comfortably. He found he liked the life and the sense of brotherhood that service to the Empire never really offered him. The Mirialan felt his eight year career as a Law Enforcement Officer had run its course. As the Empire’s grip on the outer rim slipped, Etah took the opportunity to quietly leave the service and erase all information and evidence connected to the Damned possessed by his office, which brought several prosecutions to a halt. For this action Etah was patched in as a full member of the Damned Swoop Club.

Damned Forever, Forever Damned (12-22 ABY/27-37 yrs old)

"”Now you’re rolling with the outlaws policeman, we do $#!t differently”"
―Club Sergeant-at-Arms to Etah, as a new Patch Holder.
File:EtahAdult6.jpg
Etah going undercover as a swooper

Now a patch holder with the Damned Swoop Club, Etah acted as an enforcer. His primary talent, a holdover from his days as a Special Enforcement Officer, was gaining access to people that weren’t supposed to be accessible and either killing them or compelling their support. He compelled their support the same way as he used to compel statements from suspects. He also kept an eye on law enforcement and served in a law enforcement oriented counterintelligence role for the Club. More than once he sniffed out police rats from within the Club or majorly foiled the plans of the local law enforcement.

Etah reasoned that the main difference between being a Swooper and real life was that to be a Swooper you sometimes had to act with complete disregard for the consequences. This was especially true in matters of respect and honor. But the life generally consisted of doing lines of spice off Twi'lek slave girl's thighs, busting peoples faces open and making jokes with one another. Etah sometimes mused that members of Outlaw Swoop Clubs hugged each other more than most people would guess. The craziness of parties and the laughter of friendship often abruptly gave way to violence or serious business, but never for long.

The d'Tana Crime Family (23 ABY/38 yrs old)

"”This deal will be mutually beneficial for both of our organizations”"
―Selene to Etah, circa 23 ABY

Many years after joining the club, Etah was Sargent-at-Arms for the Myomar Chapter of the Damned, Etah secured a contract with a beautiful and compelling human female. It was not unusual for Swoop Clubs to contract with organized crime rings to act as escorts or errand runners and this organized Crime Ring was the Tana Consortium. The female was Selene d'Tana and she recognized a gift within Etah.

The contract was for the Damned to begin distributing Garconian Spice throughout the Outer Rim. This contract is what brought the Tana Consortium into the big time. Before that the Consortium's spice had exclusively been dealt in Dark Brotherhood and Hutt Space, reaching Nar Shadda at its farthest. At the time this relegated them to being a somewhat local phenomenon. That was to change with their product being distributed throughout the outer rim.

The contract was originally going to be very small and the Tana Consortium was gonna push its spice into the Outer-Rim through multiple sources. But once Selene sensed force sensitivity within Etah, they pushed all their work through the Damned, making the group moderately wealthy by Outer-Rim standards. The more drugs the Consortium pumped out and the more money the Damned laundered back through, the farther Selene and Psyko began bringing Etah “into the fold,” as it were.

After a year of working closely with Selene d'Tana and Psyko d'Tana, they brought him in. They told him what they were, what the Dark Jedi Brotherhood was and what he was. They threatened that if he did not join they would have to kill him and cancel his clubs lucrative contract. But such threats were unnecessary. Growing up with gloried notions of the Sith Armies of Darth Revan, Etah very much liked the concept of becoming a Dark Jedi as so voluntarily joined their ranks.

Shadow Clan (24 ABY/39 yrs old)

"”Though we are members of the Dark Brotherhood, the Shadow Clan isn’t necessary evil. While the other clans hold only to the darkness, Arcona holds to the various grays within shadows”"
―Timeros to Etah, circa 24 ABY
File:EtahAdult5.jpg
Etah not long after aligning with the Tana Consortium

Very soon after joining the clan Arcona and by extension the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, the Swooper was recruited into the Soulfire Strike Team by the then Sergeant Selene d’Tana. There he brushed up on a lot of his infantry skills while making use of the infiltration skills he learned as an SEO, as the groups scout. Koskian 'Psyko' d'Tana Arconae, Proconsul of Arcona at the time, saw great potential in the new Dark Jedi and took him under his wing as an Apprentice.

After a short time as a member of the Soulfire Strike Force, the young Guardian Etah was offered the first of what would be many leadership opportunities. Reluctantly leaving his mentor Selene, the young Dark Jedi took the helm of the Qel-Droma phyle as Tetrarch, a Krath Battle Team in the House Galeres. He would be mildly successful, but enough so that he would subsequently be given the opportunity to serve as Aedile of the House Galeres.

Becoming a Made man and Crying in the Dark (25 ABY/40 yrs old)

"”I joined the right family, at the wrong time”"
―Etah in a journal entry, circa 26 ABY

After returning from his undercover mission to Eldar and shortly before officially being promoted to Dark Jedi Knight, the d'Tana family indicated that he, along with a Nagai named Rho, were being accepted into the family. Both having already been affiliated with the Consortium, joining the d'Tana family was an elevation to the status of Made men; Mafioso's whose safety and status were protected by the Consortium. Rho and Etah were the first members to be accepted into the family while being under the Dark Jedi rank of Dark Jedi Knight, both of them standing at Jedi Hunter.

But the joy of becoming a part of the d'Tana family would not last for long. The pretty young woman who was the first person to recognize the dormant gift within Etah, died under mysterious circumstances after being alienated from the Clan Arcona. Then, one by one the members of the d'Tana family left the Clan. Etah knowing no other home but Arcona, choose to remain among the shadow clan, while maintaining his loyalty to the d'Tana Crime Family.

For the next year Etah was in charge of the legitimate front-business Dahl Plating, which produced bulkheads and hulls for space ships. The company was created by Gavin Dahl, and originally used as a legal front to assemble Coronada Station. As one of the few remaining Arconan d'Tana's. Etah was in charge in the mining, refinement and production of Garconan Spice. Dahl plating was successfully used as a cover for Garconan Spice's distribution.

Dark Times (26 ABY/41 yrs old)

"”I felt like I had no Clan”"
―Etah in a journal entry, circa 27 ABY

Following the Rite of Supremacy “Second Darkness,” Etah was asked to step up as Aedile of the House Galeres. His active though uninspired leadership, helped see the House Galeres through a difficult leadership transition. The Mirialan gave no objections about the choice of Sashar as Quaestor to Consul Timeros, but Sashar it seemed had reservations about him. During a short period of absence, due to obligations to the Arconan Intelligence Service, Zandro Erinos was chosen to replace Etah.

The Swooper had no time to grouse however, as the Yuuzhan Vong chose just then to attack Dark Jedi Brotherhood space. Etah, in the Dajorra system, led the few Arconan's that weren't attending the Rite of Supremacy’s awards ceremony, to Last Stand Depot on the glassy planet of Sukhur. The reconstructed Arconan fleet picked up the Clan from this location before going into an exile that would last several years. During this period of time Etah had little contact with the d'Tana family and even ceased using the name for a short period.

File:EtahBiker4.jpg
Etah contemplating amidst the darkness

For his leadership in the 8th Great Jedi War, Etah was recognized by the Dark Council and the Clan Arcona when by being elevated to the rank of Obelisk Templar. It was during this time that he was inducted into the nascent Shadesworn cult and began an extended Apprenticeship to Timeros Caesus Entar. But those details would not become public for quite some time.

Following the 8th Great Jedi War, Mejas Doto re-ascended to the throne of the Clan Arcona. This led to his Project Resurrection. Project Resurrection was the resurrection of the House Qel-Droma from the ashes of the House Oriens Obscurum and it entailed a program in which all existing members of the Clan leadership were fired and the entire Clan competed for the positions.

Etah felt he had rightfully earned the Quaestor-ship of the House Qel-Droma. But in an act of what Etah felt was cronyism, Xander Drax was placed as Quaestor instead and proved to be a largely absent leader. That was immediately followed by a very public spat between Etah and the then Proconsul, Sashar Erinos. Those events caused a rift between Etah and much of Arcona that would not be reconciled for years.

Coming In From the Cold (29 ABY/44 yrs old)

"”He might be the black sheep of this clan, but there is no doubt that this clan is his home”"
―Timeros to Sashar on why he would want Etah as his Aedile, circa 29 ABY

Though the rift between Etah and Sashar was very real, it was also for show. It put the former Special Enforcement Officer on the fringes of the Clan and allowed him to function as a counterintelligence operative for the Clan's nascent Intelligence branch, which was being officially unofficially led by Timeros Entar. As an outsider the Mirialan was able to sniff out dissenters and gain the trust of traitors. In this way he protected his Clan. His last mark was the Arconan Proconsul at the time, Vorion, though Etah later lamented the fall of the man who almost became his friend.

Approaching Arcona's greatest victory, Etah brought Vorion's planned treachery to light, which resulted in Vorion resigning along with the Quaestors of both houses, but of whom were thought to be his cronies. Trusting did not come to Timeros easily, so when the Entar was forced into the Quaestorship of the House Galeres, he decided to call in his Apprentice and friend, Etah, to act as his Aedile. Etah was back in good standing with the Clan, officially and unofficially and a great threat from within the Clan was eliminated.

The Dawn of Supremacy (30 ABY/45 yrs old)

"The twilight of Clan Taldryan’s domination has passed into the dawn of Arconan supremacy"
―Etah in a communiqué to the House Galeres, circa 31 ABY

The Dark Jedi Brotherhood had bided its time, and rebuilt its fleet. It decided the proper time to return to Antei and to take it back from the Yuuzhan Vong by force. But it soon found that the Yuuzhan had been destroyed by some sort of sickness. In its place however, was a crackpot Jedi Master named Omancor Crask, leading a band of anachronistic Jedi's that had somehow obtained an army of automatons.

The Dark Brotherhood, led by the Clan Arcona, invaded Antei and destroyed the Jedi and their metal golems. Grand Master Aristan Dantes killed Omancor Crask in one on one combat and the Jedi were slaughtered en masse. Antei and then the Clan holdings were retaken three years from the date that the Yuuzhan Vong had originally invaded. Though parts of Dajorra were ravaged, the Clan Arcona had no problems reoccupying the system. Upon returning to Dajorra, it was found that the Garconan spice veins were tapped out. With Dajorran planets devoid of spice and the destruction of Coronada Station the d’Tana family made the decision that the future of the d'Tana family would have to lie outside of Dajorra.

During the war and for a short time after, Etah adopted the Krath Order. This period was the height of Etah's apprenticeship to Timeros and he wanted to follow in his mentors footsteps more closely. Following the war and Arcona's great victory, Etah was elevated to Krath Archpriest. Not long after the Great Jedi War Etah succeeded Timeros as Quaestor of House Galeres and not long after that, the Equite returned his loyalties to the Obelisk Order for reasons not publically stated.

Etah's tenure as Quaestor of the House Galeres started strong but during a month and a half long absence due to obligations to the d'Tana Family, the House became restless. Seeing great potential in his Aedile, Zakath, and wanting to concentrate on his work with Arconan Intelligence, Etah stepped down upon his return and was accepted into a support role to the Consul Sashar Erinos and Proconsul at the time, Braecen Kaeth.

Watcher of Arcona (32-34 ABY/47-49 years old)

"”I may not always be within the Dajorra system, but my clan is always in my thoughts”"
―Etah in a message to Arcona shortly before he returned, circa 34 ABY

Following his time as Quaestor of Galeres, Etah turned his attention to the d'Tana family. The Tana Consortium was dormant, Coronada Station which had served as the Consortium’s headquarters was destroyed, the family had scattered and the Garconian spice veins dried up during Vongforming of the planet. Not having authority to make decisions for the family and not having contact with any of the old Baron's of the family, the Mirialan called his old allies to him.

The ranks of the Damned Swoop Club had been bolstered by Mirialan military veterans of both the Empire and the Rebel Alliance, but were too jammed up by the New Republic in the Outer Rim to enjoy profit or even peace. So they followed their brother to Kessel, located not far from Dajorra. Etah rechristened the group of ruffians, the Thrice Damned, reasoning that they had been damned by war, damned by the New Republic and with their new allegiances, damned by the Jedi.

Using the Damned's remaining capital and the contacts and retainers of the Tana Consortium to build a small empire on Kessel, First Etah found a network of spice rich caves that had been planned to be mined, but never were. Then a fortress was built recessed into the rock. Etah dubbed it Coronada Fortress, after the station and Arcona's former home system. Then the Thrice Damned offered the space as the new headquarters of the d'Tana Crime Family and the newly created Tana Incorporated.

Though occupied elsewhere, Etah never felt he had left with Arcona or grown out of touch. He had taken to calling himself the Watcher of Arcona, since he monitored the clan closely from Coronada Fortress. 32 ABY found Etah joining the Arcona Expeditionary Force leading military forces in an assault on Salas V and its scary Killik inhabitants. In 33 ABY Etah joined the Obelisk Order in attacking the remnants of Omancor Crask's droid army and then defending the Temple Boyna from Sith Incursion.

A Legacy of Excellence (35 ABY/50 yrs old)

"After we won the last Great Jedi War I announced to the House Galeres, that we had witnessed the Twilight of Taldryan Dominance and the Dawn of Arconan Supremacy. Moving forward, we have reasserted Arconan Supremacy and in doing so, we've established a Legacy of Excellence"
―Etah in a communiqué to the Clan Arcona, circa 35 ABY

With Tana Incorporated back up and running and the family’s finances back in the black, Etah returned to Dajorra. He was received by the Clan leadership with cautious but open arms. They seemed to think that it was likely that he would return to the d'Tana holdings on Kessel. But the Prelate had no time to prove his dedication; a call to invade New Tython came from the Dark Council.

Etah was involved in pre-planning the operation. Arcona hit the surface of New Tython with no complication and Etah was sent out in a small but elite team to flank the Jedi and their Mandalorian Mercenaries. The small team breached and cleared Menat Ombo, which kept the Jedi from being reinforced and led to the enemy line folding and being ripped to shreds. For his actions, he was awarded by the Clan Summit.

Over the last several years Etah had watched the Erinos family under Sashar’s careful control, come to dominate the Clan Arcona. This had been pattern had been interrupted by the placement of the new Consul, Wuntila Entar and the rise of Galeres Quaestor Sanguinus Entar, setting both of these families on a collision course, with Etah’s d’Tana Family trapped squarely in the middle.

In response to a possible civil war brought on by the Erinos Family, Etah went off the reservation and attempted to assassinate Teroch Erinos and brought his family members and the families allies and associates with him. Despite his determination Etah was unsuccessful at his task and Wuntila sent Etah’s mentor Timeros Entar to rein him in, which he was able to do so successfully.

Great Trials on the Horizon (36 ABY/50 yrs old)

"”I have seen a great many things since becoming a Dark Jedi and I guess I thought I had seen the width and breadth of what could be seen. Boy I was in for one hell of a surprise“"
―Etah to Anduriel, circa 36 ABY

Arcona had found an active pirate Space Port located just outside of the Dajorran system. They spent the next several years, silently gaining control of the station, slowly turning it into a carefully constructed front. But after all that hard work on the part of House Qel-Droma, Arconan forces and safehouses across the station were suddenly overrun. It seemed that someone, at the very least, knew that an outside entity had taken control of the station.

Though Port Ol’val is a Qel-Droman asset, the Consul, Wuntila Entar, deemed the action a threat to the entire Clan. So Etah was assigned to a three-man team along with Legorii Kryotek Entar and Celevon Edraven and given an assignment. Though Celevon was largely absent, Etah and Legorii managed to get a lot of tasks accomplished. Underneath it all, this was a test of the members of Arcona, a Trial of Loyalty, so that Consul Wuntila Entar Arconae and Proconsul Marick Arconae new who they could trust.

Not long after, Etah travelled to the Shadow Academy to receive his Dark Sage Law degree, everything went wonky. As the journeymen of the Brotherhood lost their abilities and began to transform into mindless automatons, Etah allied with Alaris Jinn di Plagia. Together they opposed Headmaster Ronovi Tavisaen and her Praetor Solus Gar as they attempted to destroy the Shadow Academy to keep the Horizons plague from spreading. Ignoring the obvious fact that virus had already spread beyond the walls of the Academy.

Before the Academy was destroyed the Dark Council had found a cure for the Horizons virus. Etah shook hands with Alaris and left the Shadow Academy at the earliest opportunity. But all was not well. Etah at the helm of Spectre Cell traveled to the Jusadih System and led his team in clearing the Bridge of a House Plagueis Capital ship of the mercenaries that the late Darth Zoraan had led into Brotherhood space. After securing the Plagueis ship the Obelisk Prelate led his team down to the surface of the planet Kapsina for more action.

Not long after assisting the House Plagueis Etah lead Spectre Cell in an assault on a large Capital Ship at the very beginning of what would come to be called the Dark Crusade.

Appearance

File:EtahLeathersBack.jpg
The backview of Etah's riding leathers
File:EtahLeathersFront.jpg
The front view of Etah's riding leathers

Etah stands at just over six foot tall. Though his shoulders appear broad and his chest seems wide, he has a much more athletic figure than you would first imagine a trait of his rather lithe species. He has repeating geometric patterns down both cheeks, a trait of his species culture. Each small diamond inscribed on his face marks a kill. His mustache, beard and long hair, along with his demeanor and manner of dress, give the impression that he is something of a brute.

Leathers

Etah generally wears his swoop riding leathers for all but formal occasions. The outfit includes leather boots, leather chaps, a leather vest with a variety of patches, a leather jacket, jeans and a tee-shirt. He likes the look and feel of the leathers and he enjoys the outfits’ connection to swoop culture and its inherent violence, which has the side affect of intimidation. The leathers are also functional; keeping the repulsorlift engine of the hot swoop from burning the skin of his legs and keeping his skin intact should he crash his swoop and skid along the cement.

Robes

Etah only wears Robes during formal Clan events. He has been known to wear the formal Shadesworn Robes and robes known as Dervish, which are what he has referred to as a sluff coat. While out on operations he wears a new kind of heavy armor called Brutal.

Psychological Profile

Etah’s main physiological motivation is respect. Like any swooper, respect is the currency that he trades in. An underlying psychosis for Etah is an reasonable stubbornness. He will rebel against all forms of leadership that don’t respect him on some level. He will call out and confront those he considers equals that don’t show him respect. Those whom he considers below his station, disrespect will be met with contempt and possibly violence.

Combat

Etah resorts to hand-to-hand fighting only when necessary. Other times he will go to either his lightsaber or a blaster rifle depending on the setting and circumstances. With a blaster rifle, he moves smart and effectively, defaulting to initiative based military operations in urban terrain just as he was trained to as an Imperial Sector Ranger. As a lightsaber fencer he is essentially a classical defensively focused lightsaber fencer.

The Force

The Obelisk Prelate is not strong in the force, as it were. The majority of his force skills are journeyman level skills that won’t drain his force reserves. For the most part, he uses the force to augment his superior physical skills.

Aggressive Negotiations

While engaged in combat Etah will begin using the force abilities Malacia, Slow, Fear and Stun. He will apply them multiple times throughout the fight, as his force reserves will allow. Eventually they will start to take a toll on his opponent and the four abilities combine and pile up, making the target slower, less accurate, dizzy and confused.

Force Wraiths

Etah only has the journeyman level ability of force wraith, which means he can only summon one force wraith. But his force wraith is more powerful and can aid him much longer than a journeyman’s force wraith. The Prelates specific wraith is essentially a smoke demon. Etah’s Smoke Demon tends to use the force ability Fear to distract his opponents, much like its namesake.

Hand-to-Hand Combat: Dulon

Unlike most Dark Jedi, Etah has mastered only one hand to hand form. The primary reason for this is the Obelisk Prelates dedication to learning the art of Dulon. He has focused so much on his speed and endurance is because his opponent’s strength can often be used against them. He is swift and graceful because he would rather be out of his opponent’s way and ready to deliver the next blow, then to physically block their attacks.

Lightsaber Combat

Most Dark Jedi of equal rank and a few of lesser rank are stronger than Etah. Nearly every Equite he fights will have access to more and more powerful force powers than he does so the Mirialan uses his expert lightsaber Lightsaber as an equalizer. His amazing speed and the sheer destructiveness forces even Elders to fight him on his terms.

Primary Lightsaber Form: Soresu

Etah masters his lightsaber wielding opponents by having a perfect defense along with great economy of movement. He could move farther and quicker, but his defensive axis doesn’t require him to. His saber defends him faster than his opponent can attack and his opponents expend great amounts of energy trying and failing to crack open or get around those defenses. Once they tire, they will make and mistake and it may very well be their last.

Secondary Lightsaber Form: Makashi

The gentlemanly art of fencing isn’t quite gentlemanly and can skewer even the most skilled of opponents. Unlike other lightsaber forms, Makashi is unconcerned with saber fire or acrobatics. Form two focuses solely on the art and science of swordplay. Etah utilizes his great though less than masterful knowledge of this form to enhance his lightsaber styles defensive potential and relies on it exclusively actually when attacking his enemy.

Stutter Strikes

One of Etah’s favorite things to do in lightsaber combat is what he terms stutter strikes. The Obelisk Prelate begins a slash or a stab, and at some point in the middle he uses Enhance Ability or Burst of Speed to deliver the blow much faster. This ensures his opponents block will not be in the proper location and the strike will deliver true. He also does the opposite, where he begins with a very fast shot and half way through, slows the shot down considerably. That will force his opponent to overcorrect and they not be able to properly block his strike, allowing him to strike his target.
