Fey'lya's Last Stand is a Nebula-class Star Destroyer commissioned by the New Republic in 24 ABY and completed under license by Bothawui Shipyards in 27 ABY. The vessel fought in minor skirmishes as well as the Second Battle of Coruscant during the Yuuzhan-Vong War. After the defeat of the Yuuzhan Vong, it became an integral piece of Bothawui's home defense fleet until 37 ABY when the ship's crew mutinied under the leadership of their executive officer, Lieutenant Rashk Rurra'lya, and deserted rather than fight in the conflict which would become the Second Galactic Civil War. As the Jedi exiles of New Tython chose to grant the Bothans and their families sanctuary in exchange for their service in the planet's militia, the Stand became the flagship of the Kotahitanga-Unity Defense Force.

Characteristics
As a standard Nebula-class Star Destroyer, the Last Stand is both compact and deadly, however, since it was produced by Bothawui Shipyards, rather than the Republic Engineering Corporation, several small differences can be noticed throughout. Bothawui Shipyards, unable to produce as many components domestically as its larger rivals (such as Kuat Drive Yards and Rendili Stardrive), was forced to import many of the Last Stand's parts, including turbolaser batteries designed and built by MerrWeapons, rather than the Republic-standard Taim & Bak turbolasers, and computer/software systems--including the navicomputer--developed and produced by Micro Applications, Incorpoated, a Bothan company headquartered on Kothlis. The inclusion of these non-standard parts meant that, while the ship's systems and components were less standardized (and thus, less reliable) than their counterparts, they were far easier to acquire through legal means, than parts designed specifically for the New Republic military.
Additionally, the Last Stand supports a non-traditional blue stripe paint-job (in the color of the Bothan Council, breaking from the traditional red of the New Republic Navy. Most of the Nebula-class Star Destroyers produced at Bothawui Shipyards received this feature, and many modern historians have pointed to this as a sign that the Bothan desire for sovereignty existed even during the days of the Yuuzhan Vong War, before the establishment of the Galactic Alliance. The ship was christened Fey'lya's Last Stand in honor of New Republic Chief of State Borsk Fey'lya, since it was the first Bothan-built Nebula-class Star Destroyer completed after his death on Coruscant in 27 ABY.
Capabilities
The Last Stand is capable of outperforming every other preceding Star Destroyer design (excluding the Super-class variants), including Victory I and II-classes and Imperial I and II-classes. Additionally, like other Nebula-class Star Destroyers, the Last Stand boasts some of the best contemporary ship armor and shields in the galaxy, and is only outclassed by the absolute newest of capital ship designs. As part of the New Class Modernization Program, the ship carries five full squadrons of fighters (though as of 37 ABY, Odan-Urr is only capable of supplying three), which, when coupled with its superior armament and defense systems, make it a significant threat to the more outdated Imperial II-class Star Destroyers typically used by houses of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.
