Reanimated is an event that started during the beginning of the reign of Consul Raiju Kang. Mere months after his appointment, Tarentum is hit on multiple fronts. A plague in the Northlands and a parliamentary rebellion in the capital. Tarenti across Yridia II are called to action, the already weakened Clan needing as much help as they can get.
Plot
Chapter I
Yridia II
Proceedings begin with an uprising in the Northlands on Yridia II. The Northland Islands are a small collection found in the northwest hemisphere of of the planet. A strong, warrior like people they have been some of the most loyal to Tarentum and regularly had their sons and daughters enlist with the Tarentum military. However, when their dead began returning from Korriban, a plague came with it and their population was the worst hit. Talks of rebellion evolved into action, as the islands inhabitants destroyed the government offices in their region and drove out any of their supporters. However, before the government or their Tarentum overlords could respond to the rebellion; communication from the island chain was disrupted in the middle of the night. The next day scouts from nearby fleet carriers and imaging from the Tarentum navy have reported fires burning uncontrollably across the region, yet neither party has yet to spot any enemy or civilian movement.
Evidence of a plague like attack appears all around the globe, strange illnesses begin to take over rural populations. The Tarenti, led by Consul Raiju Kang decide to launch a counterattack on the Northlands. Pel, Hades, Ranarr Kul, Scion Tarentae, Zill and a battalion of infantry land on one of the main beaches of the largest island. The group easily secured the ruins of the city and the government buildings, no resistance and no sign of humanoid life. The only setback - the death of Rekio Corsair, an apparent assassination as he provided overwatch over the ground force.
Chapter II
Things get worse for not only Tarentum but for Yridia II as a whole. Not only is the body veteran member Rekio Corsair Tarentae pulled out of the scorched remains of his gunship in the Northlands, but Consul Raiju Kang is wounded in a revolt in the Yridian Parliament. Jesker Bex, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, is the apparent leader of this coup. He is joined by heavily armed mercenaries and easily takes control of the capital. The mysterious plague is not contained in the Northlands, it quickly spreads across the planet and the Yridian people call for a ceasefire between the followers of the rebellion and the Tarenti to sort out the mess.
During the funeral of Consul Emeritus Rekio Corsair, a group of off-world Force users interrupt proceedings and Raiju who seems to know them excuses himself to converse with them. Despite most Tarenti ignoring the interruption, Sith Bloodfyre-Tarentae, Ranarr Kul, Proconsul Farrin Xies, Daryus Bloodfyre, Pel and Zekk sense foul play and perhaps secret dealings with the rebellion and vow to get to the bottom of the situation.
Chapter III
The Mystics Asylum
Mere hours later, Consul Raiju Kang appears on a holo feed within the Yridian parliament denouncing Tarentum and their King. Confused, many of the Tarenti begin to denounce the Consul due to his traitorous actions until it becomes known that this could be a ploy to draw out the rebellion and destroy the parliament and the enemy all in one blow. Many are skeptical however, and when word from the Dark Council confirms that Raiju Kang has been relieved of his duties and Farrin Xies is raised in his stead, the Clan Summit is in disarray. Farrin takes control, he begins his tenure as Consul with important strategic decisions. He moves the Tarentum Navy into key positions across the system and with word of an attack imminent on the Mystics Asylum on Yridia IX, he begins to plan the defense of the installation. Despite the popularity of the necromantic arts taking a nose dive only three years ago due to their prohibition, Farrin believes that the Tarenti hub of necromancy is worth defending and five Tarenti are sent to defend it.
Conclusion
The defence for the Mystics Asylum begins, former Consul Raiju Kang charges the men and women of the rebellion into battle. The Tarenti, having had time to prepare have been able to establish a very strong baseline. The original five Tarenti defenders, which included legendary necromancer Sith Bloodfyre-Tarentae, are joined by a mobile response force led by Ranarr Kul - The Order of the Trident. The battle ends up being more of a massacre than an even fight as Gwei Long summons Draugr and Aptrgangr that instill fear into the rebels, driving them away.
As the conflict draws to an end, new Consul Farrin Xies addresses the Tarenti. With their recent regrowth and reinvigoration, he reminds the Clan of their fealty to the Sith King and their new hold over the Yridia system and its people.
