House Excidium is one of two active Houses of Clan Scholae Palatinae, alongside House Imperium. Its members are generally considered wild cards of dubious character, some even outright criminal, but this is exactly what Excidium needs to watch over the Cocytus Empire. The House ensures that the Empire is protected from internal and external threats that the Clan fleet either can’t see or can’t fight due to more delicate reasons, such as politics or public image. As a result, it is publicly disassociated from the Clan itself and its loyalties may appear to be less than dependable, but in reality its fealty is to Cocytus Empire above all else.

History
Origins
Arise Excidium with merciless hearts and cold steel!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

When Scholae Palatinae regained clan status in 32 ABY, its founding members formed two Houses of its own: the militaristic House Imperium and the radically unconventional House Excidium. The burgeoning Empire of Scholae Palatinae faced many enemies, some of which could not be fought head on by the main Clan Fleet for one reason or another. Therefore, Excidium was created to combat especially troublesome threats inside the Cocytus Empire, making use of guile and unorthodox means to eliminate threats. In this role, Excidium has worked closely with the Imperial Scholae Intelligence (or ISI), and generally taken on missions too savage for a civilized state to be associated with.

Excidium got their first chance to make their mark during the Entanglement campaign, where they shined helping the Clan acquire vital intelligence on an ancient threat underground long ago. The rebellions in the Cocytus System were not yet destroyed. Several of its members lived on and had resorted to the most desperate of moves: attempting to wake ancient monsters left behind by a long dead empire. While everyone actively partook in intelligence gathering, it was House Excidium that lead the Clan in creating mayhem for the foolish rebellion. Excidiacs integrated themselves among the rebels and disrupted their plans through any means necessary, while the rest of the Clan coordinated strikes throughout the system in an effort to stop the rebels’ plans. Together they dealt a crippling blow, and seemingly saved the Cocytus Empire from yet another threat. Unfortunately, the rebels were not stopped in time to prevent the summoning of the feared monsters of old. Ptolomea was under attack.

Rising
With the restoration of Scholae Palatinae to Clan status, House Imperium was formed to further the goals of the Emperor and the Empire within the Cocytus System.  Imperial to the core, each member of the House serves the Empire in a secondary capacity such as in the military, intelligence agency, or the bureaucracy that keeps the Empire going on a daily basis.

While Ptolomea was being attacked by monsters, several Exicidiacs were diverted from the critical defense of the planet to hunt for treasure. Clan Naga Sadow was also interested in such treasures as well, so a tense truce was brokered between the two Clans. House Excidium joined the effort in a covert role by sending in unmarked and unassuming trade ships as bait, which the Red Fury pirates immediately jumped on. The rest of the Clan’s forces allocated for this mission, in conjunction with Clan Naga Sadow, quickly jumped into the system and decimated the pirate forces. House Excidium grabbed some treasure for the Clan, as agreed upon by both Clans, and then made its way back home to defend Ptolomea.
History
Foundation
At the end of Darth Ashen's reign, Emperor Xen formed two Houses that would embody the spirit of the Empire itself.  One of the Houses would be known as Excidium. The other House would be known as Imperium.  Respectively, one to protect the Empire and strike from the shadows, the other to be the Empire itself and to run it in the light.  The first Imperator of House Imperium was Kell Dante, while the first Aedile was Zagro Fenn.  By the order of Emperor Xen, the headquarters of the Clan was placed on the March Isles in the northern hemisphere of Judecca.

Ptolomea was being ravaged by deadly monsters of old, and all available forces, including House Excidium, were called to help defend the planet. In addition, the rebels were not completely destroyed. Emboldened by their successful trial of summoning the ancient monsters, whom they called the ‘Old Gods’, they set about enacting a final ritual to fully awaken the ‘Old Gods’ for good. The House didn’t often fight its enemies head on, but exceptions were made from time to time.
As a testament to the strength of the House, it was given its first task.  When the Entanglements uprising broke out on Ptolomea, the House Imperium was sent to put it down alongside House Excidium.  After the uprising, interstellar pirates had attacked both Clans Scholae Palatinae and Naga Sadow.  House Excidium excelled at the task.  But this only showed what House Imperium was meant for. The Emperor cannot be bothered with every single need and duty of the civilian and military population. This is why Imperium exists.  To deal with these as an extension of the Emperor.  It was also around this time that Shadow Guard was formed, which was used for stealth attacks and protection of the House Leadership.

These nightmares represented enough of a threat that the House worked hand in hand with House Imperium to help destroy them for good. While the Imperial Scholae Intelligence worked to initially infiltrate the remnants of the rebellion, the two Houses fought valiantly to protect the people of Ptolomea by attempting to destroy the monsters themselves. House Imperium’s measured approach was paired with Excidium’s unorthodox tactics, which complemented each other well enough to provide a viable defense.
Consolidation
Under the Imperators Kell Dante and then Lexiconus Qor, House Imperium saw the itself grow in experience and in purpose.  During the Forgotten Campaign, Kell Dante lead the House in a great battle against the Pacre Datship followers and their false Emperor. With the Judeccan Abyssal eventually attacking Ohmen, Lexiconus took it upon himself to head off the destruction of the monster.  In the eyes of the Emperor and the stepping down of Kell Dante as Imperator, Lexiconus took on the face of leader of the House.

Times looked bleak though, and thankfully another path presented itself: stop the final ritual to make the monsters go back to sleep. The two Houses immediately left for Antenora, and assaulted the last remaining rebel stronghold: the Forgotten Temple. As one, the Clan attacked the remnants of the rebellion in a desperate attempt to prevent the final ritual by killing those performing it. Resistance was stronger than expected, but eventually they managed to breach the temple grounds and stop the ritual. The vile monsters returned to their slumber, but unfortunately the leader of the rebellion was able to successfully flee.
In the position of Imperator, Lexiconus Qor brought out a new age of reform for the House, solidifying offices and organizing the Imperial ideology under his command.  With the aid of a few trusted advisors, the Imperial War Office and Imperial Resource Center became united organizations under his reign, while the Imperial Academy of Judecca expanded its reach into the House, Clan, and Cocytus System itself.  By the will of the Emperor, House Imperium and other elements carried out the dismantling of the nobility systems in the Clan, placing the money back into the hands of the people and the government and boosting the general happiness of the citizens. These reforms were even tested by the Emperor in his own gauntlet, pitting members against each other (the above ground elements of the Clan versus the secretive elements of the Clan). In the end, Imperium conquered the other elements within the Clan and cemented itself as a legitimate and reformed House.

The hunt for the leader of the rebellions continued, but he wasn’t found until it was too late. Left with few remaining options, the rebellion enacted a dangerous ritual that sacrificed the remaining rebels, save its leader, to the ‘Old Gods’ and simultaneously turned them into seemingly undead, horrifying, half-fungal creatures that immediately headed to cause unrest in the heavily populated city of Ohmen. While the Clan as a whole was called upon to defend the capital city of Judecca, the leader of the rebellion made his way unhindered deep into the mountains of Judecca, making his way to a giant ritual chamber. It was here that the final ritual that Scholaean forces had prevented once before was again initiated, except this time there was no one to stop it. The monsters of old awoke and were here to stay. The rebel leader was found shortly afterwards, but he had gone mad and was summarily executed by the Emperor.
Obscurity
Following the Subterfuge operation, Clan Naga Sadow and Clan Scholae Palatinae continued to work jointly on transporting the Sith artifacts from the Red Fury pirates to their respective systems. However, on the hidden whims of the Emperor of the Cocytus System, Clan Scholae Palatinae launched an attack on Clan Naga Sadow, taking most of the artifacts for themselves. House Imperium loaned undercover soldiers during this crisis of opportunity under the orders of the Grand Vizier and aided in the taking of Clan Naga Sadow defensive positions.  Imperium helped attain victory in the operation, gaining most artifacts in the process.  The Consul and Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow escaped with their lives, even though they suffered a loss. Unbeknownst to most of the victorious Clan, the Grand Master picked the artifacts clean from the holds of the NSD Dark Paladin, leaving them only with the thanks of the Iron Throne.

Meanwhile, the core worlds of the Cocytus Empire each had to deal with its own monster, requiring House Excidium to split up its resources to four planets: Antenora, Judecca, Ptolomea, and Caina. Much like in the Deception campaign, House Excidium was forced yet again to work side by side with House Imperium, using a similar strategy as last time except with smaller strike teams. While these multi-front operations were taking place, some Excidiacs focused on finding a way to reverse the ritual and finally return the creatures to their slumber for good.
Rising from the Shadows
Mayhem was everywhere, and it wasn’t just Excidium. The Empire was taking damage, the conflict needed a swift end. Members of Excidium, along with those from the rest of the Clan, revisited the Forgotten Temple as part of a quick strike team, and found a hidden facility underneath from long ago. The team fought its way through its bowels, where they found an ancient Rakatan alien, by the name of Akazel. Akazel held the knowledge to reverse the ritual, and upon further persuasion by the Emperor was forced to do so. It cost the Rakata his life, but the remaining monsters returned back to their slumber.
Politics
Leadership
There was widespread destruction, but House Excidium had helped the Clan finally defeat the rebellion. The monsters were all dead, and they were no longer a threat. While things slowly recovered and the Emperor played with his new holocron, House Excidium watched and waited for the next threat to present itself. What was once a House that lived in the shadows had now made a name for itself as a loyal supporter of Clan Scholae Palatinae willing to protect it at all costs.
The head of the House is known as the Imperator. The Imperator controls the day to day activities of the House, and to a degree, the lesser known aspects of the bureaucracy. The Imperator is also the epitome of Imperial ideals in public life and heads up the Imperial War Office and, to a lesser extent, has leeway in Imperial Scholae Intelligence.  They create a daily summary of happenings within the Empire and report it directly to the Emperor and Grand Vizier on almost a daily basis.

Wounded
Things eventually went back to normal, but not for too long. In a surprising move, the Emperor told House Excidium that House Imperium, whom they had fought alongside for some time now, was plotting to destroy them. Excidium took the threat to heart and gathered its forces for an offensive. Their rage at the fact that Imperium was betraying the Empire knew no bounds, and the ever-watchful House immediately struck back at their former allies. The fight was fierce, but the House did not fare as well as they would have hoped against the military might of Imperium. Thankfully, the Emperor stayed their hand, calling everyone back to the Imperial Palace, and House Excidium was spared from final destruction.

Defeated and licking its wounds, House Excidium listened as the Emperor explained it had lied to both Houses on purpose, sowing seeds of discord among them in the name of ‘testing their mettle’. The damage was done though and trust was broken, hard feelings now existing between the two Houses. In addition, the House was shocked and dismayed that the Emperor would so willing damage his own Empire in order to test his loyal subjects. House Excidium swore to move forward from the defeat and give the Emperor another chance, but would be wary in the future. They lost a lot in this conflict, but there was one silver lining that made things a bit more palatable: gaining intel on House Imperium from someone who claimed to be ‘a friend’.

House Excidium recovered from the damage wrought on them by House Imperium, time mending old wounds just in time for a sudden conflict with Clan Naga Sadow. Precious treasure was discovered on Mygeeto by the Red Fury pirates, treasure that both Clans agreed to acquire by wiping out the pirates for good. The deal with set, and the operation to expel the pirates from their stronghold was successful, but as the operation to recover the loot was underway Clan Naga Sadow got a rude awakening. Clan Scholae Palatinae wouldn’t share any of it.
The Aedile is known as the Chief of Operations in House Imperium. They represent the future of the Empire and the goals that can be achieved with coordinated economic and scientific effort. To this end, they are in charge of the Imperial Resource Center.  They prepare a daily report to the Grand Admiral on the day to day issues of the Empire.

House Excidium was directed by the Emperor to acquire the treasure by any means necessary, taking out pirate and Sadowan alike if they got in the way. House Excidium fought hard, engaging in both direct and indirect combat. Some of the more trusting Excidiacs worked alongside those of House Imperium, while other Excidiacs pursued their objectives in small strike teams of their own. The House showed off its guile and independent fighting skills by helping to locate the precious artifacts, destroying any opposition, and jointly securing the cache of treasure for Clan Scholae Palatinae. It was eventually taken by the Grandmaster, but Excidium proved itself again as worthy of protecting the Empire’s interests.
The Battleteam Leader has two main positions; head of the stealth group, Shadow Guard, and Chief Administrator of the Imperial Academy of Judecca. The BTL works on the education of citizens and low-ranked basic military personnel, as well as provides reports and recommended recruits for the Imperial Scholae Intelligence shadow program within the Imperial Academy.

Falling Empire
When there is no Imperator, the immediate underling takes control of their duties. When there is no Aedile or Battleteam Leader, their direct superior takes control of their duties until the position is filled.
House Excidium got yet another odd request from the Emperor, the request to personally capture the planet Aesirus for the Empire as a new acquisition. The mission itself was not strange, but rather the insistence that the only resources for the mission were the members of the Houses themselves. Every member of the House was required to go, and there were no support troops. Against their better judgement, Excidium followed the Emperor’s order, willing to trust him on what seemed like a routine mission to take over the lucrative mining operation on Aesirus.

House Excidium followed their mission to the letter and warily fought alongside House Imperium, using guile, skill, and a little tough love to take control of the mining operation with relative ease. All went according to plan until they were ordered underground due to an apparent earthquake that threatened to destroy the compound. Unsure of why anyone would go underground during an earthquake, but willing to follow orders, the entirety of House Excidium took shelter with House Imperium underground in the Kyber crystal cave. Sadly, betrayal struck yet again. The Emperor, now revealed as controlled by Darth Fallax, revealed his true intentions: the destruction of the Houses themselves via charges set up in the mines earlier by both Houses. A contingency plan turned into their own grave after the first set of charges locked them inside.
Government
House Imperium is a semi-dictatorial, techno-meritocracy based around a militarized society. The Imperator is the head of the March Isles and is the planetary governor of Judecca. The Emperor, Grand Vizier, and Grand Admiral all have power over the House, but when they do not intervene the Imperator is trusted with the duty of the upholding the system. People who choose to succeed and do so will get further within the House.  Imperium controls four massive swathes of the intersectional and powerful forces of the Clan:

House Excidium stood in shock. They were at the Emperor’s mercy, but strangely the rest of the charges didn’t go off. Everyone was trapped nonetheless, which lead to the House being forced to fully reconcile differences with House Imperium in their bid for escape. Angry and hurt (somewhere deep down), the House reflected on its mistakes as it dug its way out. By the time the House saw the sun again, Excidium had come to one conclusion: don’t trust the Emperor and his office blindly. House Excidium promised itself that this would never happen again, even if it meant protecting the Empire from its own leaders.
*Military
*Science
*Bureaucracy
*Economics

House Excidium, along with House Imperium, made its way back to Judecca and the Empire that had been taken away from them. The two Houses worked together to wage war against Darth Fallax and his Order of the New Dawn in an attempt to reclaim their home. As for the Emperor, opinions were mixed as to how to best “save” him. Some Excidiacs wanted to stab him with a lightsaber and others wished to attempt a ritual to draw the presence of Fallax out of him.
The military of the Clan is mostly headed by the Emperor and Grand Vizier, along with the Grand Admiral.  However, the Imperator is given control of a small fleet, as well as the Executor.  How this military industrial complex functions on a daily basis is controlled by House Imperium and its Imperator.  As an extension of the military industrial complex, the research and development aspects of the Clan are controlled through the military and to a small degree, Imperial Scholae Intelligence.  Thus, the scienfitic advances (both public and secret) come from House Imperium. Also an extension, the economic security of the Cocytus System is developed and controlled through House Imperium and the military. Lastly, the bureaucracy is controlled entirely from House Imperium, which invokes the will of the Emperor and the desire of the population.

The Houses decided to fight both targets at once, against the recommendation to focus on Fallax alone. As a result, the Houses fought a two-front war. One group attacked key infrastructure in the Empire to help cripple the New Dawn, while the other group enacted a ritual to assault the presence of Darth Fallax poisoning the Emperor’s mind. The House used a variety of skills as it assaulted the New Dawn, adapting to the situation at hand to get the job done. This challenged the House’s abilities outside of its usual repertoire, but it also taught the House that it could expand its horizons significantly moving forward.
Every citizen of the Empire is a part of these elements in some way.  Private citizens rarely exist, and when they do it is because they have earned a place or have permission to exist outside of the normal boundaries of the citizenry. Many would question, though, why they would want to.

The fight eventually was won on both fronts, but the cost was high. The Empire took a lot of damage to both infrastructure and its own citizens, including the decimation of Teyr at the hands of a desperate New Dawn. This rallied the Scholaen forces back on the side of the Houses, allowing both Houses to push their advantage and drive a killing blow to both the New Dawn and Fallax. While these Excidiacs won the ground battle, the other Excidiacs had successfully made their way to the Imperial Palace and freed Xen from his mental prison, who delivered the final blow to Darth Fallax.
Administrative Hierarchy
The rest of the New Dawn fled, and House Excidium assessed the situation as the Clan began to rebuild yet again. The Emperor had disappeared, New Dawn operatives still lived in the Empire, and Judecca was left in chaos. The Cocytus Empire was dealt a major blow all because of one man, and Excidium knew it had to change itself in order to protect it. House Excidium took the lessons it had learned from the Starfall and Midnight campaigns and remade itself into something new. Something that was independent and flexible enough to protect the Empire from any threats, whether they be internal or external.
Imperial War Office (IWO)

Organization
*Interstellar Security Council (IntSec)

* Imperial Diplomatic Control (IDA)

* Imperial Senate (The Senate)

Excidium is run with an independent mindset, eschewing the orderly traditions of a military structure for one based off of commerce. There are no given orders or military ranks, but the flow of money is controlled through the Dead Pool, the House’s mission board where members claim jobs and offer their support to others. Members are free to do what they want, but if they wish to get paid they need to complete missions or help others complete their missions. This ensures that the House stays focused on prioritized objectives, as set by the Quaestor, and enables its members to enjoy the privilege of independence.
* Imperial Police Force (IPF)

Personal responsibility is paramount in Excidium’s organization, but equally important is the fact that no member is an island. Not everyone is perfect at everything; therefore, open trading of skills amongst members is highly encouraged. In addition, some jobs require more than one person to complete, so teamwork is sometimes required. This is principally achieved through face to face communications and electronic discussions initially kicked off through correspondence on the Dead Pool.
Imperial Resource Center (IReC)

The Dead Pool mission board contains job postings, each containing: need to know details, suggested skill sets, known associated intel, and the associated payout. If there is a dispute on the payout, a member would engage with the Aedile to reach a more equitable deal. Once a mission is complete, the member that claims the job will report back to the Dead Pool, claim their reward, and then ensure their hired help is awarded appropriately if they haven’t been already.
* Imperial News Agency (INA)

Leadership
* Center for Economics and Imperial Development (CEID)
Executor
This position belongs to the Quaestor of House Excidium. The person serving in this position is the only nominal link between the Clan summit and the House, essentially isolating the unit from the Emperor and his closest advisors. The Quaestor uses this link, along with outside sources, to acquire missions for the House. After receiving such missions, the Quaestor will vet them, assign rewards, and publish them to the Dead Pool. In addition, the Quaestor is responsible for providing reports back to the Clan Summit on the status of the Dead Pool and its missions.

This arrangement shields both entities from each other; the Emperor can plausibly deny knowledge about the House’s activities and existence, while the House in its isolation is safe and independent from the Emperor’s whims and possible corruptions.
* Society of Imperial Research and Development (SIRD)

Aedile
* Center for History and Artifacts (CHA)
The Aedile of House Excidium primarily does the day to day management of the Dead Pool. Once missions are published by the Executor, it is the duty of the Aedile to ensure they reach resolution by working closely with the members of the House. This could take several forms such as addressing any issues with the mission, archiving old missions after successful payment, and following up on missions that are taking a bit too long. The Aedile is expected to be the direct lynch pin between the membership, and the Executor, allowing the consistent movement of information regarding missions.

In addition to the primary role, an Aedile must be able to run the House in the Executor’s absence. In the absence of an Aedile, these responsibilities go to the Executor.
Imperial Academy of Judecca (ImpAc)

Battleteam Leader
* Military Academy
The Battleteam Leader is responsible for managing and running the group of assassins known as Tacitus Athanasius (TA). This leader must not only ensure that the members of TA thrive in the Dead Pool, but the BTL will receive special missions, not publicly released, just for TA that they must coordinate and execute. In this role, they are known as the ‘Silent Blade of the Executor’.

Tacitus Athanasius
*Flight Academy
This cabal is a sub-unit of House Excidium that turned murder into an art form. In the process, they impressed the Executor enough to grant them exclusive assignments in addition to those publicly available. These special assignments, which are not posted on the Dead Pool, provide the Executor with a means of secrecy when warranted and utilizes the team’s superior skills at assassination to deal with particularly dire threats to Excidium. In addition, this unit takes the initiative to carry out what they call ‘Darkstrike Orders’, but only when there is concrete evidence of treason. It is unclear how they acquire such evidence, or even where the idea came from. Such knowledge is to remain secret.

Dead Pool
*Administrative Studies Program
The colorful name is the result of many usually deadly jobs pooled on this mission board. It is the primary tool of coordination between the Executor and the Excidiacs as well as between the Excidiacs themselves, relaying orders and offering assignments to the members, as well as haggling for mission support or specific marks. This not only strengthens the cohesion of the group, but keeps it focused on the House’s priorities. It also allows the Quaestor to control the narrative on any information given, and per extension control over the members.

Common Assignments
*Science and Engineering Program
*Spy/Intel

If knowledge is power, these people are the most powerful. They infiltrate computer systems, listen in on supposedly private meetings, and pry secrets from confidant’s minds. Collecting bits and pieces of information to arrange a whole and complex big picture enables the House and Clan to act appropriately. Members taking on such assignments are commonly intelligent, perceptive, and manipulative people. Their tasks may require working hand in hand with the Imperial Scholae Intelligence.
*Diplomatic Studies

*Assassins
* Academy of Fine Arts

Murder is their profession. Any member of the House willing to shed blood can take assassination assignments. Assassins quickly dispatch threats to the Empire, which can range from simple nuisances all the way to key targets hiding within organizations. Execution of these jobs is expected to be stealthy and precise. Of note, a special cabal of assassins within Excidium is Tacitus Athanasius, who receive exclusive assignments from the Quaestor that are not posted on the Dead Pool.
Admin Sectors
Imperial War Office
The IWO is the main office of the Imperator. Based on the northern shores of the March Isles, the IWO is an office where the Imperator works on his day to day activities and networks. Different heads of departments report directly to him on the information presented going throughout the Empire. Four of these departments hold special places and bigger roles within the IWO.

*Tracker/Trapper
Interstellar Security Council
Everyday a meeting is schedule between top military and intelligence personnel within the Clan.  Along with the Imperator, they combine a daily brief and message that is to be sent to the Emperor and Grand Vizier.  They also discuss matters of internal and external security and to a lesser degree the bylaws of the individual military structures.  IntSec also operates as a secondary command base during war time, working in situations where the Emperor is potentially incapacitated.  The department was set up in concordance with the end of the rule of Darth Fallax.

Some marks just disappear despite the best efforts, or need to be taken alive and brought in. Where assassins act on current intel and make a quick exit, the trackers and trappers of Excidium take on longer-term missions, carefully pursuing their marks even beyond Empire space and possibly planning and executing their abduction for the Clan. Members taking on such assignments are independent, patient individuals exhibiting the same qualities as spies, with a smattering of hands-on abilities.
Imperial Diplomatic Alliance
The IDA is a group of diplomats, military advisors, and economists that work with the Imperator on diplomatic security, protocol, and ambassadorial duties of the Clan. They also operate the embassies of the Iron Throne and respective Clans, as well as potential outside corporate embassies wishing to do economic actions within the Cocytus System.  Following the Shattered Ties event, the department was upgraded from a simple diplomatic group to a sprawling alliance of people that help bring unity and control to potentially explosive situations.  The Imperator has direct control on who is sent as ambassadors to other places, Clans, and to the Iron Throne.

*Thief/Saboteur
The usual group that meets involves:

When the spies can’t get a piece of intel because it’s locked away and guarded, they call the thieves. When some piece of property is opposing the Imperial will, the saboteurs have a new task. Acquisition and disruption is the name of their game. Members taking on such assignments share many skills with the assassins, but focus on material targets over people.
*Imperator

*Enforcer
*Operations Representative

Not every assignment can be completed in subtle ways, and sometimes things just go plain wrong. When push comes to shove and brains alone do not suffice anymore, Enforcers are the brawn to call on. Members taking on such assignments are usually superb combatants or fear inducing individuals, if not both, and will bend a situation to their will through physical and psychological violence. Their deeds are commonly blamed on criminals and terrorists afterwards.

Imperial Police Force
The IPF is a civilian police force that gives ordinary citizens control over their communities to a lesser degree.  When the military is too strong a hand, the IPF steps in to control and head off the situation.  They mostly contain potential riots and act as a community spying group to root out infiltrators and useless personality traits within the citizenry.  Complaints go through official channels and are dealt with swiftly.  The Imperator controls the group ultimately, making sure that they stay within the bounds of Imperial law and remain subservient to the military authority within the Clan.

Ezra Bridger: Thief/Saboteur, Spy/Intel, Enforcer
The Imperial Senate
Following the Subterfuge campaign, the Imperial Civilian Government was rebuilt into the Imperial Senate.  The ICG used to be a useless mouth piece for controlling the population, but the Senate now as more authority to carry out the will of the Emperor, serving as occasional diplomats, keepers of the peace, and tacticians throughout the Empire.  They meet occasionally to discuss the inner workings of the Empire and how to better serve the Emperor and the Imperator.  The Imperator is the head of the Senate as well, setting the times to meet and the topics of discussion relevant to the Empire.  None of the Senators are elected by the people.  They are all chosen within leadership divisions of the Empire, making it a piece of government for the Empire itself, and not for the people.

Zam Wesell: Assassin, Tracker/Trapper
There are a total of 51 Senators, excluding the Imperator.  The Senator can be changed and chosen at any time according to the whims of those doing the choosing.  However, unless a Senator is viewed as lacking in work ethic over a long period of time, they are never forcefully removed from their office.

House Dominion
Imperial Resource Center
Caina
The Imperial Resource Center envisions the scientific and economic activities of the Clan while controlling how the citizens think and what history remains relevant to the EmpireTheir offices are based on the southern shores of the March IslesThey also run the Imperial census done on a yearly basis and are in charge of making things run smoothly throughout the Empire. Changes in the census, as well as economic and scientific changes, are sent to both the Imperator and Grand Admiral, but first go through the Chief of Operations, for whom controls the IReCAlthough many departments report daily to the Chief of Operations, four main departments rise out of the IReC.
When Excidium was founded, the young House surveyed the planets of the Cocytus Empire for privacy and defensibility, yet also for access to transportation and potential for ‘blending in. It found suitable habitations in Daemon on Caina, a largely subterranean city built into exhausted and repurposed mine shafts and caverns with one of the system’s largest spaceports on topYears ago, local entrepreneurs had tried to build a holiday resort in one of the greatest caverns, but failed due to low demand following the Empire’s arrival. With the arrival of Excidium, this project was completed in secret, isolated from the rest of the city, and loose ends tied upSince then, Excidium’s holdings have expanded a bit, with Tacitus Athanasius’ Silent Citadel in the ice wastes, and former Aedile Rosh Nyine’s private abode.

Fleet
Center for Economics and Imperial Development
Purpose
The CEID is a department where main economic development and trade occurs to and from the Clan.  Much of their work is divided into a Theory Division and Planning Division, with smaller, less impactful Divisions coming now and again.  The Theory Division (headed by the Lead Statistician) oversees the economic theories and data that is incoming, as well as information of internal and external trade, and attempts to create practical models from such statistics and data. The Planning Division (headed by the Lead Architect) oversees the practical and realistic construction of trade policy and implementation, as well as the architectural construction of buildings, and the overseeing of work forces and duties.  It is this flow between both divisions that allows them to extend the Empire's reach into other systems and sectors of the galaxy.
The primary purpose of the Excidium Fleet is to ensure that the Empire and its interests are protected from internal and external threats, primarily through eradicating or neutralizing select threats. The Excidium Fleet can do things and go places the main fleet of the Clan can not, but it also doesn’t have the resources of a full military fleet.

Excidium’s flexibility, use of ubiquitous craft, disassociation with the Empire publicly, and various intel sources that drive its Dead Pool allow the CSP main fleet to focus on the enemy it can see and attack, while House Excidium can target the unseen enemy or the targets the main Clan Fleet cannot hit for one reason or another (politics, resources, image that precedes itself and scares off its prey). This unique approach to protecting the Clan is the true value of this fleet.
The Chief of Operations leads the divisions to the appropriate work places and places of need within the Empire.

Comprization
Society of Imperial Research and Development
*EF76 Nebulon-B Frigate - TBA (Excidium Sub-Flotilla Flagship)
The SIRD is a department which maintains the scientific study and usefulness of the Empire.  The SIRD is divided into five major divisions and is made up of smaller divisions within those divisions not independent of each other.  The Engineering Division (headed by the Engineer General) is where all the engineering strategy goes on.  People work on typical engineering problems and help the Empire gain new knowledge on how systems work and how to build things.  The Medical Division (headed by the Surgeon General) is where all the latest medical and biological advances stem from.  They work tirelessly to bring about the death of disease and the prolonging of life for the citizens and the Emperor.  The Social Division (headed by the Sentient General) is in charge of the soft sciences and the humanities.  They are dependent more on theory and philosophy than much else, but they do help maintain higher academic standards in the Empire.  They also help the Chief Administrator with education material in the Imperial Academy of Judecca.  The Science Division (headed by the Scientific General) focuses on the other average sciences outside of engineering, medicine, and academia.  They strain the bridge between dream and reality by working tirelessly to prove the bounds (or unbounding) of our universe.  The Computers and Robotics Division (headed by the Intelligence General) focuses on droids, Artificial Intelligence, cybernetics, computers, and programming.  With advancements in computers, the Empire has grown to dominate much of the galaxy in robotic development, using mainly robotic work forces to construct their building, repair their infrastructure, and defend their software.

Ports
These divisions working together help bring forth the scientific superiority of the Eternal Cocytus Empire. The Chief of Operations works with each division head to make sure the work is secure and proper.
Home Port
The Home Port of the Flotilla is above the planet of Caina, in the Cocytus System. The planet is considered to be the ‘home’ of House Excidum, and as such, can provide the best support for the fleet which serves the House. Major facilities are on the planet surface specifically for the fleet, such as supply depots, training stations, and recreational areas for the crew.

Alternate Ports
Imperial News Agency
The Flotilla does spend a large amount of it’s time away from Cocytus, however, and requires alternate ports where it can feel secure. Under the guise of a private security corporation, its primary alternate port is Nal Hutta, the nearest major starship hub to the Cocytus system. Other areas include Corellia, Commenor and Bilbringi. These three planets are used for their extensive shipyard capability, especially when refits or repairs are needed by the fleet. These planets also attract major corporations, powerful individuals, and rich merchants, who in turn might hire the ISS. When clandestine efforts are required, the Action VI Transport is used as a temporary berth, with extending struts and scaffolds.
The INA is home to the news service that broadcasts throughout the Cocytus Empire. Owning all waves of communication, the INA works through the military communication tech to deliver the voice of the Emperor and his summit to the ears of the people. Reporters, journalists, writers, and designers work tirelessly to bring forth a pro-Imperial message in a galaxy filled with anti-Imperial propaganda.  They also work with foreign embassies on delivering news from outside the Empire. The Chief of Operations works with the Minister of Propaganda and Minister of Loyalty to keep the citizens of the Empire in good faith of their Emperor.

Excidium’s Cover
Center of History and Artifacts
The Icon Security Services is the private personal security company, registered on the Corellian and Coruscanti stock exchanges under the acronym “ISS”. The firm provides a myriad of different security related services, such as slicer protection, personal protection, hostile takeover support and removal plans. Vessels and equipment used by Icon Security Services have been selected for their general usability, customization possibilities, and ubiquitous nature within the starship industry. The more common the craft, the less conspicuous the ISS flotilla might be.
The CHA is the place where the historical, archival, and important objects of the Empire are kept. With the Empire having a long and drawn out history with many artifacts, stories, and objects owing to different levels of positive and negative outcomes within the Clan, the CHA aids in the keeping of historical accuracy to what vision the Empire desires going forward. The Chief Librarian, along with two Charges, keeps the record safe and well-taken care of. They submit a report to the Chief of Operations on the daily upkeep and changes within the CHA itself.

The Nebulon-B Frigate was selected as a mobile base of operations, due to its hangar and excellent anti-starfighter capabilities (in the form of a squadron of X-Wing Fighters, and heavy anti-starfighter weaponry). From the frigate, the ISS teams can deploy with ease, using the Lambda shuttles, or the Firespray interceptors. The CR-90 Corvette serves as the flotilla’s Jill Of All Trades, running as freighter escort or armored freighter in her own right, or serving as reinforcement or bait for the larger Nebulon.
Imperial Academy of Judecca
The Imperial Academy of Judecca, or ImpAc, is the central place of learning within the Cocytus System.  It also functions as the primary academy of Judecca, along with branch campuses all over the Empire itself.  ImpAc is located in the center of the Marsh Isles and stretches onto the east and west coasts of the island.  The head of the academy is the Chief Administrator.  The Chief Administrator of ImpAc is also the Battleteam Leader of Shadow Guard (House Imperium's battleteam). Every day, the Chief Administrator meets with the head of every academy department to understand the direction of the academy. The Chief Admin also has a daily security update from the members of Shadow Guard.

The GR75 Medium Transports are highly customized vessels, designed by the House Engineers to create a flotilla of craft which did not need to run and hide in a space port after every battle, and could be self-sufficient for an extended period of time. Two of the GR75s, named [NAME] and [NAME2], are designated as Scavengers. These vessels salvage from battles, of which there are many, as well as collecting supplies for the fleet. This is a very important task, considering that a fleet runs on its stomach. The third GR75, designated [NAME3], is part of the Fleet’s sucker punch package. Much of the cargo containment system has been removed, and replaced with bulk plating, providing a semblance of armor, while concealing the inner machinery. Much of the inner bulk of the transport houses minelaying facilities, whereby the vessel can sow a mine field in less than an hour. Along with this, as an added benefit, six torpedo tubes on either flank of the ship can be used as a heavy barrage during battle, or as a trap when the need arises.
Military Academy
The Military Academy is for soldiers, police, and other such military personnel.  With new soldiers needing to be replenished annually, and the daily population needing basic military training, this program is by far the largest. Special personnel are sometimes trained to do special things here. Whether you are part of an artillery regiment, soldier battalion, or logistics personnel, one goes through this academy.  The War Administrator leads the Military Academy.

The Action VI Transport is the most innovative technical feat in the ISS Flotilla. The massive vessel serves as a mobile shipyard of sorts, with the flank and belly panels unfolding to create a large, open work area. Once tethering tractor beams have engaged, a small army of droids and engineers goes to work repairing, refitting and maintaining the ships of the flotilla. This is a highly dangerous operation, as both the Action VI and the ship in the berth are practically helpless.
ISI Shadow Recruit Program
The Intelligence Administrator, working under the War Administrator, picks new recruits for the Imperial Scholae Intelligence Shadow Recruitment Program. These recruits are sent off to secret facilities for alternate training on differing subjects and then placed back into various random parts of the ImpAc.

Considering the size difference, the Action can only service one of the options below at once:
Flight Academy
Some students see their careers forming in freight, starfighters, or large transports instead of fighting on the ground.  This is where the Flight Academy, lead by the Flight Administrator, comes in.  They select candidates for the flight school who go off to train in space, on ships, and in atmospheric exercises.  Graduates of the flight academy go on to perform differing duties within the Empire involving their newly acquired flight skills.

A) All of Excidium’s fighters and small craft
Administrative Studies Program
The Eternal Cocytus Empire is run by a massive bureaucracy, and although most of the positions can be trained and fulfilled on site, trainers themselves must go through a rigorous program of indoctrination and tutelage in order to become beacons of Imperialization in their work places.  The Secretarial Administrator leads the Administrative Studies Program, giving citizens or those already in the workforce the ability to go above and beyond in their respective duties.

B) two of the GR-75
Science and Engineering Program
The Science and Engineering Program, lead by the Particle Administrator, has recruits going into the fields of science to eventually work in organizations such as SIRD and CEID.  But before they do so, they need the skills to accomplish this.  The program helps them discover what it means to be a scientist in the Empire, and opens up doorways for them they could never think imaginable.

C) the CR-90 Corvette
Diplomatic Studies
D) part of the Frigate at once.

To service the whole frigate at once, the scavenger GRs have to chime in with their materials and tugs.
Academy of Fine Arts
The Art Administrator works alongside specific students to create Imperial art and propaganda for the Empire.

Cosmetics
Military
While cosmetic refinements of space-going vessels is rarely a priority when designing and constructing them, their after-sale use can determine the need for, at least, uniformity. The Flotilla, however, must be ready and willing to change transponder and identifier codes as quickly as needed, and as such, will need to change the exterior. All the ships in the fleet are designed for ready change of exterior painting, typically facilitated by the Action VI Transport. Most of the work can be done by droids, and is automated to get the work completed quicker. There are several sets of pre-programmed layouts, but changes and custom requests are not too hard to achieve. In spite of all the automation, careful planning and execution, the changing of the complete exterior painting of the flotilla takes an excessive period of time, and is rarely used unless significant time can be found to do so. The fastest the fleet has managed in the past was eight days in high orbit around a small planetoid. Hence, smaller paintjobs like changed insignia and false corrosion are more commonly utilized.

Typical Deployment Pattern
In transit between general areas of operation, the flotilla travels as convoy. Once arrived, the ships spread out, with the yardship going into hiding with a Firespray escort. The Transports stay within a short hyperspace jump from one of the capital ships unless ordered otherwise, while both the Frigate and Corvette go about the mercenary business.

Battle Deployment Pattern
Imperial Ideology
Based on the Houses’ general paranoia, the battle deployment pattern does not differ greatly from the general deployment pattern. Fighters get deployed and any ship not deemed necessary or advantageous for the battle is ordered into hiding. To that effect, all ships constantly run and update hyperspace route calculations.
Within the Empire, House Imperium is charged with maintaining the exact specifications of what it means to be an "Imperial" and how "Imperialism" is defined.  It isn't enough to simply follow the orders of the Emperor, Grand Vizier, Grand Admiral, Imperator, and Executor. The philosophy and reality has to be defined and propagated further for the citizens and leaders to understand and follow.  Over time, different leaders both historical and now have carved out the statue of Imperial ideology. The Eternal Cocytus Empire wishes to replicate what made the Galactic Empire so great, without the flaws and failings that brought out its destruction.  The Imperator along with Dek Ironius II, a follower and intellect within the Empire, has helped create this document reporting on the potential changes to the ideology to keep in grounded in reality.

Conveniences
Culture: Imperial Imperative
Excidium uses many conveniences as they present themselves, such as medical facilities. The IMS Tipoca II, hosted by the Clan, is one such convenience when Excidium is in the neighborhood, but it is only approached when the House is under its civilian cover and when the station does not create an unreasonable detour.
The Imperial Imperative is an dictate which states the necessity to add and expand to the culture of the Empire.  Xenophobia and cultural dissolution destroys Empires. Much like evolution, mixing and adding sophistication and culture to the Empire brings about improved ways of doing things.  Make no mistake, this does not mean that ideas are let about to run loosely.  But an objective and academic examination of outside culture is allowed, while religious practices and cultural differences are also allowed to be practice under the allowance of the Emperor.  Within this, the Empire allows different races and species to join, seeing them as worthy followers of great ways, adding the best of all worlds to the authority of the Empire.

Training
Governance: Broken Chain Theory
Excidium’s ship crews are internally trained up to imperial standards and advertised as such. Members of the House hailing from relevant non-imperial and outlaw backgrounds - nominally former privateers and retired personnel from foreign militaries - then provide additional training in and against various uncommon and shady tactics. Officers and voidsmen become disciplined, yet versatile individuals and teams capable of different styles of space warfare, honed by the House’s best.
This is the reality of the Empire.  Before, democracy was viewed as an evil because Empire's weren't free.  Broken Chain Theory assaults that bogus mentality.  Freedom can only be realized from the protection of a higher power (such as an Emperor). Where democracy has ruled, corruption and chaos bring about change, destroying lives, and allowing people to live in a corrupt state of fear. Within the Empire, democracy isn't stamped out.  The people don't wish it to exist.  They have more freedom under the Eternal Cocytus Empire than they have had under any system and thus support the rejection of such values as democracy.  If one wishes to excel to a certain point, they have the ability to do so.  Those who are physically limited are given implants and cybernetics to improve them to achieve their highest ability.  People are limited only by their drives, and thus with the Emperor safe guarding their existence, they can thrive as freely as they desire.

Understanding Excidium
Economics: Neo Expansionism
Excidium views itself as the party-going (sometimes silent) guardians of the Cocytus Empire, trading recognition for the freedom and independence to do what must be done. It has become the House’s belief that Excidium is needed as a crucial check to ensure that the leaders of the Empire do not ruin it like they almost did in Midnight. In addition, the House takes pride in their privilege to neutralize any threats, regardless of their political position or location, that the Clan can’t otherwise directly smash into oblivion with their main fleet.
Expanding for expanding sake is no longer done.  The Empire does not wish to spread itself too thin.  It takes what it needs and desires equally while taking economics and military into account.  Efforts are made to culturally and ideologically expand into territories before militaries are sent in. This is to ensure that the population supports the conquering of their society.  Once the people realize the superiority of the Empire in all things, then they come to want it. Occasionally, people have attempted to overthrow their governments in order to gain the wish to join the Empire.  Ultimately, the Empire chooses its battles more wisely when it wishes to conquer more planets and people.

Unlike some other Houses, Excidium also cares about fiscal responsibility, since they work outside the Clan’s supply chains. First, they have their own revenue streams through a private security corporation that offers its services to the mid-rim. Second, they take particular pride in their Dead Pool, which to Excidium serves as an excellent medium to ensure everyone works for their money and is well rewarded. Third, the House searches for its own leads in addition to missions provided to them by the Clan. As a result, Excidium doesn’t see themselves as solely relying on the Clan for their livelihood.
Society: Cog Helix
This is a practice of two types: 1) a person is a cog in a society, working inside a massive machine of power, ideology, and destruction if need be, 2) in each person are many cogs that work to improve the self over all other versions of the self. Citizens of the Empire need to work on improving themselves at all times.  They need to improve their cognition and workability, and in doing so they improve their own position and improve the work that they do. This mindset is taught from a very young age into the children of the Empire, and the indoctrination centers throughout the Empire for outside citizens.

Lastly, Excidium views its Quaestor with a pragmatic point of view. They know that their Quaestor controls the Dead Pool, and its accompanying rewards, but they also know that this gives them the advantage of being shielded from the day to day politics of Clan Scholae Palatinae. They may sometimes doubt the veracity of the intel reports, even wonder if the Quaestor is using their position for personal gain of some kind, but a watchful eye, prudent fact-checking, and the occasional not so subtle threat are more often than not adequate tools for deterring a rogue Quaestor.
Understanding Imperium
The brother house of Imperium, infamously known as Excidium, are allies in all but the term. While there are members in Imperium who enforce the law, battle on the front lines, negotiate through the deadliest of courts, and analyse limitless amounts of data and lore, they still abide by the Emperor’s will. Excidium’s careless nature to breaking and violating the Emperor’s regulations, give enough evidence to Shadow Guard and the Imperator himself, that Excidium should be kept at arm’s length. However, their aptitude for manipulation and their expert abilities in several shady skills, make them a keystone in the success of the Empire's vision. Loyalty is still a vital currency in their trade, but their detachment from the Empire casts some internal doubt on their loyalty. The relationship between the Imperator and Executor is fragile, at the best of times.

Alliances and Enemies
Diplomatic Relations
House Imperium
The brother house of Imperium, infamously known as Excidium, are allies in all but the term. While there are members in Imperium who enforce the law, battle on the front lines, negotiate through the deadliest of courts, and analyse limitless amounts of data and lore, they still abide by the Emperor’s will. Excidium’s careless nature to breaking and violating the Emperor’s regulations, give enough evidence to Shadow Guard and the Imperator himself, that Excidium should be kept at arm’s length. However, their aptitude for manipulation and their expert skills in infallible interrogation techniques, make them a keystone in the success of the Emperor’s vision. Loyalty is still a vital currency in their trade, but the price for being disloyal to Imperium isn’t expensive. The Imperator knows this. It is also the Imperator’s duty to keep the identities of the deadly Tacitus Athanasius a secret. As well as the Executor’s headquarters, the Imperator keeps their greatest weakness behind impenetrable vaults.
The sister House of Excidium, they are treated as allies, but cautiously so. Their blind dedication to the Emperor, and their reputation as tacticians for the Emperor’s military campaigns marks them as a potential threat. Their heart may be in the right place, but at the end of the day they do what they do best: follow orders. You never know when those orders might be pointed at Excidium again.

Clan Naga Sadow
The stewards of Clan Naga Sadow were long time allies for years to Clan Scholae Palatinae, and when Imperium was created, Kell Dante continued this tradition in the house. However, when Shattered Ties happened the Proconsul Cyris Oscura broke that treaty, the members of Imperium were forced to reconsider their allies. They defended themselves on the battlefield against all Sadowan forces, even those without the Force as their weapon. When the dust settled and the two forces retreated to their homeworlds, there was worry and concern about a Sadowan retaliation. Through frail and careful methods, current Imperium politicians, including the Imperator, continue to heal the tension and neutrality through negotiations. It is the duty of the Imperator to keep this sacred method of negotiations a secret.
This clan is currently an enemy, a result of the fallout from Shattered Ties. The bitter fight between Clan Scholae Palatinae and Clan Naga Sadow left a sour taste in House Excidium’s mouth, one that has yet to be forgotten. If spotted, they will be attacked and looted.

All other clans are neutral until proven otherwise.
Imperator’s Vision
When House Imeprium was first formed under the guidance and support of Kell Dante and his first Aedile Talon Jade, the two had a goal of uniting a diverse and powerful government. They pursued the goal of providing a safe and secure society for all Force Sensitive users inside the House, while utilising the Emperor’s funding for expansion. Using their wealth, Kell and his Aediles in the future began to construct the largest training facility for military use, both in the army and the navy. They helped to expand the facility uses into space, by re-opening the space station called IMS Tipoca II. Kell and his Aedile Lexiconus, created a station to heal the injured soldiers and civilians, as well as the biggest medical training facility in the Clan’s history.

Executor Motivations
When Lexiconus ascended to the Imperator position, he continued this tradition of upgrading and providing the best military training for the Clan. He expanded the facility across the various sections of the March Isles, in order to create departments of navy, army and Force Sensitive training faculties. The Imperator also began a movement to reconnect with Excidium and Naga Sadow, to negotiate peace terms, trade regulations and other concealed affairs to strengthen the Clan’s resources
After the events of ‘Starfall’, it became clear that the Clan Summit could not always be trusted to ensure the safety and security of the Cocytus Empire. As a result, the “Fallaxy Rule” was created, which simply states ‘Don’t trust the Emperor and his office blindly’. Since then, the Quaestor diligently watches over the Empire in their own way, using House Excidium and their various sources of information as a tool to eradicate or neutralize any threats, whether they be external or internal, to the Empire.

History

Politics

Leadership

The head of the House is known as the Imperator. The Imperator controls the day to day activities of the House, and to a degree, the lesser known aspects of the bureaucracy. The Imperator is also the epitome of Imperial ideals in public life and heads up the Imperial War Office and, to a lesser extent, has leeway in Imperial Scholae Intelligence. They create a daily summary of happenings within the Empire and report it directly to the Emperor and Grand Vizier on almost a daily basis.

When there is no Imperator, the immediate underling takes control of their duties. When there is no Aedile or Battleteam Leader, their direct superior takes control of their duties until the position is filled.

 • Military
 • Science
 • Bureaucracy
 • Economics

Every citizen of the Empire is a part of these elements in some way. Private citizens rarely exist, and when they do it is because they have earned a place or have permission to exist outside of the normal boundaries of the citizenry. Many would question, though, why they would want to.

The usual group that meets involves:

 • Imperator
 • Operations Representative
 • Administration Representative
 • ISI Chief Analyst
 • Icon Security Services Corporate Representative
 • Fleet Advisor
 • Ground Forces Advisor
 • Delegate from the Imperial Diplomatic Alliance
 • Delegate from the Imperial Senate

Imperial Police Force

The IPF is a civilian police force that gives ordinary citizens control over their communities to a lesser degree. When the military is too strong a hand, the IPF steps in to control and head off the situation. They mostly contain potential riots and act as a community spying group to root out infiltrators and useless personality traits within the citizenry. Complaints go through official channels and are dealt with swiftly. The Imperator controls the group ultimately, making sure that they stay within the bounds of Imperial law and remain subservient to the military authority within the Clan.

There are a total of 51 Senators, excluding the Imperator. The Senator can be changed and chosen at any time according to the whims of those doing the choosing. However, unless a Senator is viewed as lacking in work ethic over a long period of time, they are never forcefully removed from their office.

Imperial Resource Center

The Imperial Resource Center envisions the scientific and economic activities of the Clan while controlling how the citizens think and what history remains relevant to the Empire. Their offices are based on the southern shores of the March Isles. They also run the Imperial census done on a yearly basis and are in charge of making things run smoothly throughout the Empire. Changes in the census, as well as economic and scientific changes, are sent to both the Imperator and Grand Admiral, but first go through the Chief of Operations, for whom controls the IReC. Although many departments report daily to the Chief of Operations, four main departments rise out of the IReC.

Center for Economics and Imperial Development

The Chief of Operations leads the divisions to the appropriate work places and places of need within the Empire.

Society of Imperial Research and Development

These divisions working together help bring forth the scientific superiority of the Eternal Cocytus Empire. The Chief of Operations works with each division head to make sure the work is secure and proper.

Imperial News Agency

Center of History and Artifacts

The CHA is the place where the historical, archival, and important objects of the Empire are kept. With the Empire having a long and drawn out history with many artifacts, stories, and objects owing to different levels of positive and negative outcomes within the Clan, the CHA aids in the keeping of historical accuracy to what vision the Empire desires going forward. The Chief Librarian, along with two Charges, keeps the record safe and well-taken care of. They submit a report to the Chief of Operations on the daily upkeep and changes within the CHA itself.

Imperial Ideology

Culture: Imperial Imperative

Governance: Broken Chain Theory

Economics: Neo Expansionism

Expanding for expanding sake is no longer done. The Empire does not wish to spread itself too thin. It takes what it needs and desires equally while taking economics and military into account. Efforts are made to culturally and ideologically expand into territories before militaries are sent in. This is to ensure that the population supports the conquering of their society. Once the people realize the superiority of the Empire in all things, then they come to want it. Occasionally, people have attempted to overthrow their governments in order to gain the wish to join the Empire. Ultimately, the Empire chooses its battles more wisely when it wishes to conquer more planets and people.

Diplomatic Relations
