Clan Scholae Palatinae has a long history of acquiring many artifacts. While some artifacts of the Clan have been lost to time, the below is a brief catalog of some of the Clan’s most precious treasures.

Current Awarded Artifacts

Holocron of Vengeance

The Holocron of Vengeance is a pyramidal holocron that was created by a Dark Side adept, who served under Emperor Palpatine. The holocron contains hidden knowledge and many of the secrets of Palpatine. Traditionally, it is held by the Consul, but it may be granted to any member above the rank of Elder 1.

Rajk Opal

The Rajk Opal is a unique gemstone that affords a Force-user a substantial boost in the Farsight ability. While this benefit is notable it is not without risk. Holders of the Rajk Opal are subject to extreme psychological reactions to the visions received. These reactions have been known to be permanent. The Rajk Opal is awarded to an outstanding Journeyman, as a test of their mettle.

Scicis

Scicis

Scicis is a particularly brutal Sith Dagger. Found by Thran Occasus, Scicis is an ornate blade that has been imbued with powerful Sith Alchemy. The dagger has a strange gem in the pommel that changes color with each victim of its edge. This effect is known to inspire bloodlust in those who hold the blade. Notably, the blade never dulls.

Other Notable Artifacts

Caliburnus

Caliburnus
Caliburnus

The namesake of House Caliburnus the lightsaber Caliburnus is a fabled weapon of Rakatan origins believed by some to be the first ever lightsaber. Over the millennia, the weapon has been lost, found, and tampered with by numerous adventurers and Sith Lords. Legends tell of its wielders' rise to notoriety, and mysterious power of the weapon to make its wielder invincible in combat. In 25 ABY, Impetus, Quaestor of Caliburnus, began a house-wide search for the blade in the Blood Forest of Ptolomea, following ancient map fragments in the clan archives. The mission was interrupted by the house feud, Contention, and later resumed by new Quaestor, Thran Occasus.

Discovery and analysis of the blade proved the legends only half true, but something much darker and powerful existed about it. Perhaps the machinations of an ancient Sith Lord, the wielder of the blade was drawn deeper and deeper into the dark side. The only way to stop the fall was to satisfy the blade's bloodlust. The wielder was placed in the position of murdering friend and foe alike or losing their mind entirely. As a result, it was seen as dangerous to the stability of Clan Scholae Palatinae, and was held in a secret location known only to the Emperor of Scholae Palatinae and the Director General of Imperial Scholae Intelligence. To prevent others from seeking the blade, the mission has been erased from official history, and those involved in the quest to find it have been sworn to a vow of secrecy to never disclose the discovery of the blade.

Caliburnus is presently held by Evant Taelyan

Historical Artifacts

Holocron of Detonation

The Holocron of Detonation is a data module that teaches the user how to rupture cells and destroys organic matter. The power itself requires a knowledge of the anatomy of many different species, which left the usage of it in mass decline. Therefore, only the Emperor/Empress may approve the use of this power.

Holocron of Nature

The Holocron of Nature is a data module that teaches the user the ability to grow seeds, plants, and plant-like life through the Force. It is an easy ability to learn, but using it in combat and for battle was not entirely useful. Many Force-sensitive agents use it in natural environments in order to get around or hide themselves. Unlike other holocrons, the Emperor / Empress or the Grand Admiral may approve who uses this holocron.

Tomes of War

The Tomes of War describe every vendetta and event that happened in Clan or House Scholae Palatinae's history. They describe placements, strategy, rewards, losses, influential military and civilian members, etc. and why they were important. If one wanted to understand the Imperial Clan's past, they need only look at the Tomes of War (if they can gain approval from the General Director of Intelligence, the Emperor, Grand Marshal, or System Moff).

Rite of Ascension

The Rite of Ascension (also known as The Phoenix Reborn) was a rite granted to House Dorimad Sol during the Bloodrites war for Obelisk supremacy. It had a strengthening power of sorts for the users in its immediate vicinity. However, what that power was exactly has been lost to time. Supposedly past Emperors have occasionally attempted to find out exactly what the rite does, but whether they have succeeded or not has yet to be seen. The Rite of Ascension sits in a vault only viewable by specific VIPs.
