- "House of the Rising Dragon: Where Perfection Becomes Habit"
- ―House Motto
Acclivis Draco (commonly abbreviated HAD) was one of the Houses of Clan Scholae Palatinae along with Caliburnus and Dorimad Sol. During 33 ABY, Grand Master Muz Ashen reorganised all Clans into Houses and all former Houses into Battleteams. Battleteam Acclivis Draco survived for several months before finally being closed after a series of attacks from the local tribes on Antenora crippled the Battleteam.

History
Creation and pre-Exodus
House Acclivis Draco was created as one of the three Houses of the newly formed Clan Scholae Palatinae. It was named after one of the Emperor’s projects that of a legion of Force-using stormtroopers named the Dragon Guard and never bore fruition due to his unexpected death.
Leading the House into the Brotherhood was Arkane Maithal, its first Quaestor. Regrettably, most pre-exodus records have been lost, but it is known that Acclivis Draco and the Clan performed well in the First Great Jedi War. At the forefront of the House was Drynwyn’s Flame, the elite Battleteam which boasted Cuchulain Darkblade Palpatine, Michael Halcyon and Timbal as members. A healthy rivalry gradually grew between Drynwyn’s Flame and Ebon Cloak, the other House Battle team, a rivalry that was nurtured by the Summit as a means of increasing productivity on both sides. The Clan’s excellent progress was halted and radically reversed when Clan Arcona hatched a plot to destroy Clan Scholae Palatinae. Several notable members of the Clan stood against their leaders, creating a rebellion that Arcona was quick to draw the Star Chamber’s attention to. They immediately intervened, closing down the Clan and shifting House Acclivis Draco and House Dorimad Sol to Clan Arcona, much to the horror of the Palatineans who found themselves at the receiving end of Arcona’s vicious humour. Fortunately, the truth was leaked by a combination of Arconan dissidents and rogue Palatineans and the Star Chamber was forced to repeal their dissolution decree for fear of Arcona being destroyed.
The Clan retreated back to lick its wounds and Acclivis Draco spent time bringing member levels back up and reasserting its dominance over both its dominion and its Clan.
When it was decreed that Houses would be order-specific, Acclivis Draco immediately followed its natural instinct and fully converted to the Krath Order, becoming known for its zealous devotion to academia and sorcery. Under the Quaestorship of Michael Halcyon, Acclivis Draco developed the first Master/Student Program, something that is still in use today.
During the reign of Quaestor Annuvin the House turned its focus to a mythical Lightsaber, Drynwyn's Flame. The Quaestor became obsessed with recovering it and ordered Acclivis Draco to scour the Galaxy for it. However this left the halls of Acclivis Draco empty, apart from one meager Acolyte left to supervise the shadow defence staff. Enemy Clans rejoiced, postulating that if they attacked, the weakened Scholae Palatinae would then fall. They did not account for the Acolyte. J’Lek saw the squadron of enemy fighters and rigged a Lambda-class shuttle to a flight simulator, dramatically boosting its battle capabilities. The enemy’s fate was sealed with the arrival of the Excidium. Acclivis Draco had returned victorious, having relieved the New Republic of the legendary weapon. J’Lek went on to become a successful Quaestor later in his career, having remarkable distinguished himself to the Elders of the Clan.
Exodus
Despite their come-back, the Clan performed badly in the next two Great Jedi Wars leading many to believe that CSP had permanently fallen into mediocrity. The fifth War proved nothing, being simple assaults by mere pirates who were easily repelled. What followed had been brewing for many months. The Dark Jedi Brotherhood had frequently been targeted by Sector Admiral Astatine and the Brotherhood could no longer tolerate persistent intrusion on their way of life. Grand Master Firefox began fomenting a plan to split from the Emperor’s Hammer and a council of seven was convened to discuss ways in which to end their subservience. Problems were intensified after the grievous treatment of a Jedi Hunter from Acclivis Draco, Anga Salinas at the hands of the EH leaders. Enough was enough. The Brotherhood set their plan into motion and suddenly exited EH space, bound for destinations provided by the Seven. Regrettably many of Scholae Palatinae feared the unknown, believing themselves safer from reprisals if they remained within the Strike Fleet. The Palatineans allowed them to leave, preferring to stay their blades than strike their former comrades. All trace of their presence in the Hela system was removed by a systematic barrage from orbit, destroying years of achievement in less than a day.
It came to pass that Cuchulain Darkblade Palpatine, appointed Consul by Firefox was directed to the Cocytus system, charged with seeking out an appropriate home for the Royal Clan. He circled through the system and he named the stellar bodies from the words of an ancient prophet. For House Acclivis Draco, he chose the desert world of Antenora. There, surrounded by primitive human tribes deposited by the Rakata, the House built up their own kingdom, based from Dragons Citadel centered in a small oasis. From there they set about conquering the tribes and brining them firmly under the boot of the Scholae Palatinae. Despite this grand new start, the Clan went through a period of internal unrest, getting through in excess of three Consuls, ProConsuls, not to mention the number of Quaestors and Aediles in a matter of months. This chaos at the top of the Clan reverberated down, leading to a poor showing at the Invasion of Antares, where the army was decimated and valuable equipment either lost or destroyed. This led to serious changes within the structure of the Clan, with many units being disbanded and members redirected to the more valuable areas where more members were needed.

Traditions
- Since the beginning of the Clan, Caliburnus was the stronger of the three Houses, over HAD and Dorimad Sol. As time passed the Krath grew stronger and under J'Lek began to push for control of the Clan. The Krath grew stronger and began to dominate the Clan positions and finally, dominance of HAD over HC was officially grabbed under Cuchulain's reign.
- HAD has since traditionally been considered the strongest of all of CSP's houses, although there have been periods of history in which one house or another has temporarily usurped that honor. However, HAD usually bounces back with a vengeance.
- HAD usually is the source of most fictional work within the Clan, and prides itself on furthering the development aspects of the Clan.
Trivia
- Under the leadership of Mike Halcyon, House Acclivis Draco became the first First Krath House of the Brotherhood.
- This is where the current Master-Student Program, created by Mike Halcyon and now used throughout the Brotherhood, began.
- After Mune resigned from the position of Quaestor, three members were appointed successively: Braecen, Saitou, and Cyris, but none of them were in the post for more than sixteen days.
- At one point, the entire Summit of Acclivis Draco was filled with Krath Priests: Kschamehellan as Quaestor, Mune as Aedile, and Exodius as Rollmaster.
- The traditionally Krath house experienced its first Obelisk Quaestor when Tra'an took control.
- Ood would like to be known as an influential member who deserted the House.
