A former battle team of Acclivis Draco, Mando'ad Vode was birthed and dissolved in 27 ABY under the guidance of Quaestor RevengeX Palpatine. An experimental program, it drew far away from its intended path and became unorganized and without specific function.

During this time, there was only one other Battle Team in the House, the invitation-only Dragon Seraphim.

History

When Braecen Kaeth took the reins of Consul of Clan Scholae Palatinae, one of his first acts was the dissolving of all Battle Teams in the Clan because each Battle Team was either completely inactive or was simply a bunch of random members thrown into a pot. In early 27 ABY, then-Aedile of House Acclivis Draco, Rhaub D'ar Aghasett Palpatine, suggested a "Family Battle Team." The Mandalore family had made its home in Scholae Palatinae and the family's patriarch, along with most other family members, Maximus Raidoner Mandalore, found their way to House Acclivis Draco from Caliburnus or other Houses.

Aedile Rhaub volunteered to hammer out specifics and details concerning "Family Battle Teams," but his unexpected transfer to the Rogues immediately following the Rite of Supremacy: Second Darkness, put the project to a stop. A few weeks later, after discussion with the Mandalores, Braecen revisited this idea and implemented it, opening a new Battle Team in the House, simply known as the Mandalore Guard. At its head stood Braecen's newly knighted Apprentice, Gavan Sykes.

The other Mandalores soon found spots in the Battle Team and it thrived for a bit, later being dubbed Mando'ad Vode. The Mandalore Guard was designed to be the Consul's honor guard; however, it soon became a motley collection of random House members. However, Gavan went missing and a new leader was needed. A new transfer to Scholae Palatinae from House Satal Keto of Clan Plagueis, Starrett was appointed the team's Commander. An experienced veteran who had served as Rollmaster in several Houses, including House Exar Kun and House Oriens Obscurum, Starrett showed the motivation to force the Team to achieve and develop.

For a while, the Battle Team was developing well. Unfortunately, due to uncontrollable situations outside of the Dark Brotherhood, Starrett soon left the Clan. Quaestor RevengeX Palpatine debated on the idea of continuing the Battle Team, but after reviewing records that showed the Team had had very little activity, he closed the Battle Team with the permission of Proconsul Phoenix Olkyssagh Palpatine.
