Tyren Atema, son of two Jedi, was born 1 BBY, five years before the crumbling of the Empire. Once a thug and loner, even a monk and now one of the Brethren. He is a trickster, highly intelligent, highly capable. His everlasting search for power through spiritual guidance takes him ever further through the ranks of the Dark Jedi.

"Fear is a state of mind where logic is absent. It is a Human thing. Yet, I have vanquished my fears through logic, thus am I no longer Human?"
―Tyren Atema

Galactic Alliance Threat Dossier

Name: Tyren Atema

Threat Level: Severe

Criminal Record: Known as a former associate of the Black Sun, supposed acts of assassination, infiltration, theft, murder, and countless other criminal acts. None have been proven. Unknown kill tally. Supposedly a former Jedi, carries a lightsaber. Extremely dangerous.

Summary: ( Voice of Botha Na'Shak, Leading Intelligence officer, Galactic Alliance Intelligence crime lab) I heard rumors about him, rumors that i regarded as rubbish until I was reported a 10 men casualty count on Thyferra. Single handedly killing 10 highly trained guards on a Bacta production facility makes this man a dangerous breed. Intelligent, cautious, we've never had proof of his activities, he cleans up quite neatly. Destroying evidence, the kill and damage count is immense. He alone cost the GA a "measly" 10.200.000,00 credits in research, infrastructural damage and personnel, yet we have nothing on him. How by the love of the Force is this possible, gentlemen? How does one man do so much damage and gets away with it? He has opened a Construction company on Khalim, near Sullust, supposedly going legitimate. We have the dossiers on all of his associates. I want a group on him at all times, arm them with caution, though, this man will wipe them out if he feels threatened. One false move and he's ours...

End Threat Dossier... (thanks to Ludy for letting me steal this)

Past of Tyren Atema

Banner of the Atema Family

The Atema Family

"This is our home. This is the new beginning we dreamt of for a long time."
―Ashira Atema

Two Jedi knights, Jerreth Atema and Ashira Islana survived the „Order 66“ massacre. Years after the Emperor’s rise they met on a transport ship en route to planet Dantooine where supposedly a small community of Jedi hid from the Emperor’s wrath.

When they came to Dantooine they found the enclave in ruins, dozens of Jedi slaughtered with but a few survivors. In the midst of the carnage they stood tall and held on to each other for strength.

Eventually falling in love they wowed to rebuild the enclave and open its doors to other refugees and Jedi. With the help of a CorSec agent, a Republic loyalist and Jedi admirer, who helped the enclave with supplies and machinery, they rebuilt it in some of the many caverns on the planet. It was meant to be a safe haven for those that fled the Empire thus it now had a name, “The Sanctuary”.

After the sanctuaries completion Jerreth and Ashira married becoming a beacon of light and hope for not only the people in the Sanctuary itself but for all the people of Dantooine as well.

Birth of Twins

"Our meeting is fate, we are amongst the last of the Jedi and our sons will carry that legacy..."
―Jerreth Atema, to his wife Ashira

Not long after the wedding Ashira got pregnant. Nine months later she gave birth to two twin boys. Their coming to the galaxy was not only joyful for their parents but also for the whole Sanctuary.

Each boy was unique in the Force; their names, Ylith and Tyren Atema.

The two grew up in a peaceful and Force active society the Sanctuary offered.

Brothers by blood

"Protect your brother, as he protects you."
―Jerreth Atema, to Tyren

Ylith was older, very active, always in search of adventure and danger. Tyren, the younger, was, however, very different from his older brother. He learned a meditation of sorts at a very early age and thus was more active in views of the Force. He stood by his father mostly, staying in silence while Jerreth spoke of great Jedi deeds and the philosophy of good.

Very early in his life Tyren utilized his Force abilities to do minor tricks, like lifting small objects or creating sparks at will. That gave birth to a sort of jealousy in his brother’s eyes, but even that difference couldn’t keep them apart. The boys became best friends, inseparable, one aiding to the other what the other did not have.

Their parents thought them the meaning of good and evil and how to evade evil as best they can. Though they tried to understand this they could not, so they continued their childish, sometimes evil games. Jerreth and Ashira both sensed the boy’s slight affinity toward the Dark Side of the Force. This worried them greatly for they wished to teach their children the ways of the Jedi.

Ylith was the one that mostly go into trouble, Tyren however was the troublemaker. While he loved to make trouble happen to his older brother he was always there to help him out if the situation got out of hand.

Tyren’s intellect and agility were his strong side. He dodged trouble rather than faced it. He had brains his brother had brawns so they both grew up side by side, helping one another in times of need.

Past divided

"Mom? Why are you crying?"
―Tyren, seeing his mother in tears after the raid

Three years into the new era, after the devastating defeat of the Empire at Yavin, four years after the twins’ birth, the Sanctuary was attacked. The Empire raided the enclave killing anyone they could, with no sufficient weapons to protect themselves the people of the Sanctuary ran.

They tried to escape the planet on the same transport that brought Jerreth and Ashira to it years ago. Though the ship was sturdy and well built, with good reinforced armor and shields, it could not stand the salvo upon salvo of laser fire from the force of TIE-fighters unleashed upon it. It blew up just outside Dantooine’s atmosphere leaving a few escape pods in space. Hundreds died in the raid and sadness crept over the survivors.

The Atema lived, though, but got separated in the chaos. Ylith was with his father while Ashira took Tyren. Although they were in different escape pods, the Atema hoped for reunion. The explosion of another escape pod shattered that hope into pieces. Thinking that their loved ones are dead, Ashira took Tyren and roamed the galaxy in search of a place to hide.

They hid on Coruscant, the heart of the galaxy, with a black hole in their hearts. A black hole that would not be filled until the day of reunion.

Coruscant

"So many people. They will never seek us here..."
―Ashira, arriving on Coruscant

The worst place for a Jedi to go hide was Coruscant, every single Jedi in the galaxy knew that, Ashira however did just that. She fled to Coruscant with Tyren under her wing. They hid in the city slums below the shroud of smog. She was certain that being near the enemy would keep them out of harms way since the last place to look for Jedi would be Coruscant. She was dead wrong and she paid it with her life. One night a squad of stormtroopers came into Ashiras sanctuary killing her in her sleep. Of Tyren however they found no sign. He had run of that night to his friends house against the wishes of his mother. That childish decision saved his life. He was raised by Jatarra Dumash for the rest of his life on Coruscant. Jatarra was a shop keeper in the slums, very well known to the populace, and thus Tyren lived his life on.

Eden

"Do not fret, it will be over soon."
―Tyren , strangling a nomad villager

When Tyren was a teenager Jatarra died of a disease that swept the slums like a plague. Tyren stole an old space-worthy starfighter and fled of world to a planet on the edges of the Deep Core, Eden. There he lived a solitary life, expanding his view of the Force. He never learned to properly use it but still he had a knack for the unnatural. One day Tyren climbed a steep cliff in search of food. Finding a bird’s nest he took the eggs. When the bird returned it attacked Tyren so suddenly that it left him out of balance and grip. Tyren fell hitting the ground with such force tat he was left unconscious instantly. When he woke up he could remember none of his true past but instead thought himself to be older and wiser. The loneliness of his out-of-the-way home left him mad. One day he went to the nearest village he could find in search of company but stories of a "madman from the mountains" spread like a plague throughout the land. This angered Tyren very, so much so that he killed every villager he could find therefore turning to the Dark path forever. He went on, killing every being he could find, until one day a Rogue Jedi who hid on Byss came to find Tyren and end his senseless onslaught of innocents. They dueled and Tyren fought bravely and hard but the Jedi was too much. At the moment Tyren thought he would see his death another option flew through his mind, he focused on the Force and with great effort and energy struck the Jedi with a pure lightning bolt. The Jedi was unprepared for the attack and had no way to defend himself, he was dead. Although the shear enormity of Force that he used fatigued him greatly, Tyren somehow found his way to a village, took a mount and headed off. Days later he found an old Rebel base and an X-wing in it. Somewhere in hyperspace he passed out only to wake up in a bacta tank on The Sword's Sheath, a Gladius controlled battle station in the Yridia system. There he was accepted, he was helped and there he swore obedience to the Dark Brotherhood.

History of Voron Tess

"I am a blight on Human culture. A black tattoo on this earth. Try and stop me."
―Voron Tess

Voron Tess is Tyren`s alter ego, his dark side, the madness within him.

Birth

Voron Tess isn’t a Force spirit who claimed a young man’s body, quite the contrary. He was created in Tyrens mind the day Tyren fell of the cliff in Eden. On that faithful day Tyren`s mind went upside-down and created an illusionary past and an entity inside Tyren. This entity will later be known as Voron Tess. Tyren`s mind created the past of Voron Tess from the stories he had heard about the Jedi and their destruction so fictionally Voron was born 34 BBY on Coruscant in a family of politicians. His father worked as a diplomat and as a negotiator for the Clone armies later during the Clone Wars, his mother was a shield maiden of Senator Lexi Dio, a Loyalist Senator close to the office of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, who represented the world of Uyter. As a baby Voron was taken away from home into the Jedi Temple. There he trained all his youth to the ways of the Force and the life of a Jedi. He was thought great discipline and patience yet the effects of his youth and the naive mind he had left him confused by the teaching of the Dark Side.

The time of fall

During the final days of the Republic, when Vader destroyed the Temple, Voron was away on the field, fighting the War in the Outer Rim on planet Murkhana in the search for General Greivous. Fortunately for him he wasn’t in the midst of battle when Palpatine executed Order 66 so he was able to defeat the troopers who turned against him. Left alone on the planet and quite sure the troops turned against his master Saras Loorne and the other Jedi Voron tried to find ways to escape. Somehow he managed to take a transport from a low-guarded troop facility and escape the planet. Voron in himself was always on the border between Light and Dark, and the day would come when one of the two would prevail.

Adulthood

After the Great Jedi Purge he hid on the planet Eden. After 40 years the loneliness of his home drove him near-mad. In this time Tyren, who created Voron in his mind was already on Eden and already he was amnesic. He had forgotten his true past and embraced a past that never existed. Further history of Voron Tess is the same as Tyren’s.

Anger and madness

Voron is Tyren`s personification of anger, hatred. Voron "takes over" Tyren only when the Dark Jedi becomes mad with anger, so much that he cannot control the urge. On his pilgrimage he learned to control this mad anger to a certain extent to prevent Voron from claiming his mind.

History in The Dark Jedi Brotherhood

Tarentum

""Welcome to The Sword's Sheath!"

"Thank you!""

―Tyren and Frosty exchange greetings

During his stay in Gladius, Tyren met a lot of people who were willing to help him and he has flourished. There he was accepted and he accepted in turn. In his short, but useful stay in Tarentum, Tyren was assigned to Dox Romanae, then a Dark Jedi Knight, who thought Tyren a lot about the Brotherhood and its ways. Even more did Tyren learn from Dox`s brother Frosty who, from the very first day, helped Tyren advance through the ranks. Once Tyren became a Guardian he left Tarentum and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood for a year. This period in his life is now called "The Pilgrimage"

The Pilgrimage

"Our way is not of light or of dark, these are but terms by which you know your enemy. We are balance."
―Elder Dragon pilgrim
File:Pilgirmage-NEG.jpg
File:Tyren monk.jpg
Tyren leaving to battle the beast.

During his time away from the Brotherhood and its affairs Tyren traveled the galaxy in search of "another self". From the wasted of Tatooine to the home of the Witches of Dathomir he traveled to find it. In the Brotherhood he was becoming reckless, disobedient and for that he left, to change. So he did. Not long into his journey Tyren found an old Pilgrim, The Dragon pilgrim they called him, on an out-of-the-way world in the Outer Rim, he was the last of his order. He told Tyren that long ago there was a legend of a great dragon, lord of the universe, who ruled all under his strong grip. The Dragon monks praised this ancient deity. They were not evil, nor were they good, they tended to stay in the balance, attack only if threatened, defend when needed, never to look at the petty affairs of little people, never to engage in someone else's doings. Tyren found what he was looking for, a new beginning. He stayed with the old man and learned from his wisdom. For twelve months he learned, drawing every single word from the old man, soon the day would come when he would show his potential. As a final test of what he learned, Tyren was to defeat a Krayt dragon, a race of giant lizards that lived on the planet. Tyren meditated for two full days, gathering his strength for the upcoming ordeal, finally he was ready. The battle lasted, what for Tyren seemed an eternity, but in the end he succeeded in his goal. With the last string of strength Tyren took his katana blade jumped high above the lizards head and pierced the dragon’s skull silencing it forever. "Ryuujin", The Dragon, The Dragon Pilgrim, that’s the name he obtained after his battle. He stayed with the old man until his end. With the old mans death Tyren had nothing to look for on the planet, he left and finding this inner peace, a new self, a new name he returned to the Brotherhood.

The return of the Dragon

Plagueis

"You will die at my side if you do not press your training, boy."
―Salth Khan commenting Tyren's skills

When returning to the Brotherhood he did not go back to Tarentum but instead eager to learn about other clans came to House Exar Kun of Clan Plagueis. In hopes of a new beginning and the continuing of his training he asked for a master. Sith Battlelord Salth Khan replied to the request and took Tyren under his wing. Hoping to learn more from his new master Tyren accepted and thus became one of the brothers again.... Tyren spent the next five months in Clan Plagueis. His stay was productive and he came to love Plagueis and its members. After a time though, the clan's internal politics became too much of a burden for him, thus he transferred to Clan Naga Sadow, leaving Plagueis behind was tough but it had to be done.

Naga Sadow

"It was right of you to come here. You have much potential."
―Draken

Tyren was accepted in House Marka Ragnos. Soon after joining he made contact with his brother Ylith who helped him settle in his new home. when he arrived he was given a responsibility of leading on of Marka Ragnos' battleteams. Commanding Ravana Squadron gave Tyren a new insight on the functioning of the Brotherhood. The new experience only made him stronger in his resolve to advance through the ranks.

Revelations

While looking for a training room on Antei Tyren came by his old Sergeant and mentor, Ylith, or Draken how he’s called now. He asked Draken to help him with the nightmares he’s been having hoping that maybe Draken, being very old could answer what the dreams meant. In the nightmares Tyren saw a woman, two twin boys playing in a yard and divided in times of war. Though Draken didn’t know anything about such a thing, Ylith's memories did. Told as a story often by his foster family, Ylith has heard the same story over and over again in his youth, knowing it was something he wasn't meant to forget.

Both Draken and Tyren investigated this occurrence and even underwent a DNA test to see if they were family. The DNA of both Ylith and Tyren matched perfectly, even so perfectly that they were considered twin brothers.

Tyren first had trouble believing this story. Since Ylith was considered years younger than Tyren. But the DNA test showed that in fact, Tyren was younger than Ylith and in search for answers, memories of the tragic accident on Eden unfolded into Tyren's mind.

Quest for knowledge

In the wake of their shocking revelation the two brothers went on a quest to discover their forgotten and hidden past. They roamed the galaxy for clues on where to look, the search eventually led them to Dantooine where they found the shattered Sanctuary. In the rubble they found a holocron that recorded the marriage of Jerreth and Ashira. Amongst the data they found a holovid of their birth, of them playing in the garden, a crest of the Atemas and the vile attack on the Sanctuary.

Now the two Sith understood their past. They placed their family’s banner near the ruins, in remembrance of their parents. Although Jerreth and Ashira were Jedi and their sons Sith their will and wish to save their children was cause enough to remember them.

The two twin brothers agreed they would bare their true names and never bring dishonor to it.

Battle of Antei and the Orian Invasion

"Your lightsaber, Dark Jedi Knight..."
―Quaestor Ashura Isradia

As many of his brothers Tyren was on the front lines in Orian. Being a Jedi Hunter that he was he had little chance against the overwhelming power of the Vong, yet he fought bravely and was awarded his own lightsaber. He used the green blade to decimate his enemies and their pawns. He watched many of his comrades die and even his brother, Ylith, a titan, fell to the Vongs weapons. Both brothers pulled out with their heads. Soon afterward he was elected the new Tetrarch of the Night Hawks Battleteam.

After their defeat at Antei the Sadowites returned to Orian where they found an unexpected enemy, the True Brotherhood who had taken over the system. He lead his Battleteam on a few Spec-Ops missions for the Summit which came out with critical info for the campaign. Soon enough the Orian Invasion had ended with the destruction of the True Brotherhood and the capture or death of its members. Determined to bring back order to the now scattered ranks of Marka Ragnos, Tyren took up the position of the Commander of Ravana Squadron again. Bringing the Journeymen to their ultimate goal and strengthening Naga Sadows forces became his new objective.

Changes...

In the long months after the Incursion, Tyren had changed drastically. The fall of Antei and the later Invasion on Orian had a significant effect on him, mentally. His dark personality, Voron, had become less dormant appearing more often than usual, even under Tyren's, sometimes, painful efforts to detain him. Tyren did not know what caused this, the Vong or the death of so many of his comrades. Seeing all that death, Tyren virtually became less and less interested in important things, more and more walking into a kind of indifferent state of mind that didn't care for life or death, it just was. He started smoking a lot and found a secret pleasure in it.

Tyren's only true interest was the herald office and his family and Clan. He worked as the Praetor to the Herald and assisted him and the staff in everything they needed. He is also affiliated with the Night Hawks, even if he resigned some time ago. He still secretly assists its Tetrarchs in their missions.

A new friendship

A week after his brother took Tyren's old position as the leader of the Night Hawks, an unfamiliar woman walked into his office on Tarthos. The woman was Jade Atema, his brothers fiancee.

They talked for hours about her life and his, about Ylith's and her meeting and Tyren began to like the woman. But something was amiss, he had sensed she was different, like him. He had sensed she had her darker side chained and enclosed inside her, frequently letting it out. Tyren attacked Jade, thus releasing her true face. When the dust settled he had sensed that he and his sister-in-law were not so much different from each other. This bothered him but in the end he accepted Jade as one of the Atema, as family and as a good friend.

Nephew and Uncle

Tyren stood, patiently, with Ylith as his son was born. Aragan Atema, a beautiful half-Valheru boy. Tyren became an uncle. He loves his nephew and would gladly protect him with his life should the need occur, since Ylith had a lot of enemies in his former Clans. Along with Aragan the Atema found a new relative, one that they didnt, even in their wildest dreams, expect. Robert Daragon discovered he was Tyren's and Ylith's uncle being their fathers half-brother. Fate would have it that they found eachouther in the same place.

Battle of Telos

"Remember what we used to say?"....."Jackpot!"
―Tyren and Ylith

In 28 ABY the summit of Naga Sadow issued an immediate plan to destroy a Vong world ship, Domain Amnan, that had entered the Telos system, the jugular of Naga Sadow's supply routes. A plan, under the command of Darth Vexatus and Master Caerick, the Consul, was put into action and the whole suite of Equites and journeymen of the Clan joined in battle on board the living moon.

During their many battles in the belly of the beast, Tyren fought alongside his brother Ylith and his wife Jade along with their apprentices, Jaredi Edius and Zaxen, including his own apprentice, Scuslem.

In a battle against the Vong priests Tyren lost his left eye, one of the creatures having pricking it out of its socket. Tyren killed the alien in cold blood, avenging his lost eye.

He caries a blind fold over his left eye.

Proditio

Tyren's brother Ylith had been away from the Clan for some time before returning...another person. He had, in Tyren's eyes betrayed the Atema by leaving his wife, jade and his newly born son, Aragan. This betrayal left Tyren infuriated with his brother. Ylith's supposed relationship with Xathia didn't help with the situation.

Ylith left the clan, feeling betrayed both by the people he once called brothers and by his true family. He left never to return. In the few instances they met the two nearly avoided bloodshed as Tyren would never forgive his older brother. It was by Tyrens help that Jade and Aragan escaped the Marakith Skyhook and evaded death by Ylith's hand.

Businessman

The year is 29. ABY and the Vong war is at its height. Yet, some profit from this.

Tyren formed a Company for mining and construction "Synergy". It's headquarters was supposed to be on plant Eden, Tyren's old hideout but as the Galactic Core is under Vong jurisdiction that plan failed. Instead Tyren situated the headquarters on the rigid planet Khalim, near the Omwat system in the Mid Rim. Though Tyren is lazy by nature, when he sees an opportunity he grasps it, so he did. He sees the future rid of the Vong and a galaxy full of opportunity for his company. The company is currently small, employing around 5000 engineers, officers and personnel, the majority of these are miners.

To create his company and finance its infrastructure, Tyren acquired a solid sum of credits from various bounties, assassinations, infiltrations and thievery.

For now the company is divided into 3 sections:

  • Mining
  • Military force
  • Construction and engineering

Miner are mostly slaves he acquired from the Hutts or enslaved villagers. Military force operatives are free jacks and people he acquired from various crime lords he killed. The Engineers he acquired the same way as the Military.

Arcona

Tyren left Naga Sadow some time after Ylith. He was tired of the manipulatory politics its leadership had brought upon the Clan. He looked for a new Clan to call home, and so he did find one...Arcona. He followed his former apprentice Vorion who had been elected Aedile of House Galeres in it.

After failing in his role as Quaestor of Qel-Droma he pulled back, into the background for a while. Only did he return when word of Draken, his brother, came to him. Finally the time was right for the two brothers to face of...and end their rivalry once and for all.

Terminus

"Dear brother, when will you finally learn that you are weaker than you ever were? That is Draken's gift to you..."
―Tyren Atema, mocking Draken
The Atema brothers at Shi

It was a warm day on Shi as the brothers faced each other on the very place Draken used to rule his kingdom, the King's palace. They had been chasing each other for weeks since Tyren came out of hiding. As would be expected from a Valheru, Draken lead his hosts brother to his homworld, for the final, concluding duel that would determine the future of the Atema. Either one, or both would fall, but there would be blood, and they knew it. The battle was a fierce one, like two opposite poles pushing and pulling against each other, each knowing the others weaknesses. Finally, Draken, the superior fighter gain the upper hand, smothering Tyren to the ground breaking the Krath's hold on his saber. As Draken pulled his brother off the ground he said: "Any last requests?". The only response was a smile on Tyrens face and a stream of blood and spit from his mouth. Draken's disorientation gave Tyren a chance, and he used it. Mustering the Force to his will he enhanced his strength and hit Draken's nose with his brow. The Sith tumbled back even more confused only to recover as Tyren bull rushed him over the high fence. Tyren dangled in the air, holding to a loose piece of metal as he saw his brother disappear into the mist, ten stories below. A single tear fell down his cheek as he damned the demon Draken who had corupted his brother so. The only thing Tyren has left of his lost brother is his blade, Livion, and a memory of pain that ended on Shi.

Sworn to the Shadows

"And we are they."
―Shadesworn

In the year 30. ABY just before the great conflict and the liberation of Antei, Tyren was called into a shady, well organized group of loyal Arconan elites. The Shadesworn were born as the pinnacle of Arcona`s war effort. Their mission would be to prepare the clan for a long awaited mission, the liberation of their home system, Dajorra.

Tyren`s role, as always, was one of a covert nature. He was to organize sleeper cells of commandos from the Synergy military branch and deploy them in every ship of the fleet months prior to the start of the operation. These cells would then upon their activation, place charges on vital systems on the ship, temporarily disabling communication, propulsion and defenses thus spreading utter chaos throughout the Arconan fleet.

Once the operation started and Arcona was flung into chaos, the Shadesworn assumed the role of controlling the ships and stealing of the artifacts in the Arconan vault. While his comrades broke into the vault and took control of most of the fleet, Tyren was left alone facing two Equites of higher caliber , Rho Ozrei d'Tana and Arcturus Gadeskin Xyler. Tyren, surprisingly, proved to be a match to both Equites with his non-Human reflexes and his mastery of the art of Soresu.

As the clan began to realize what was going on so did the momentum of the operation subside and the Shadesworn retreated to the Maw Cluster where they would reveal their plan to their comrades. When Vorion, Shadesworn`s leader under Mejas Dotos iron fist, called forth the leaders of the Clan to a meeting they reluctantly came under heavy guard.

It was there and then that the Shadesworn revealed the whole plot to the leaders of the Houses and their other comrades. The Maw led to Dajorra.

The Dragon tattoo

File:Tattoo.jpg
Ryuujin`s Dragon tattoo

Covering his whole back, neck to hips, and his arms and legs is a tattoo of a dragon, representing the dragon spirit and the serenity of the soul. It was drawn by the Elder Dragon pilgrim via ancient methods. Various plants give nectar that can be used as paint. This "paint" is sucked in by the skin and stays there forever. It cannot be washed away only medically removed with the skin.

Lightwave Barrier Bracelet

File:Shield.jpg
Deployed barrier
File:Bracelet.jpg
Bracelet

Created by Ylith, Tyren's brother, and given to him before the Battle of Telos. The barrier is an upgraded version of his Lightwave Shield.

The Lightwave Barrier is different from the Shield version in a sense that it does not create a small area. It creates a force field 10 feet wide from its point of origin, protecting everything inside it from any manner of attack.

The point of origin is determined by the activation of the bracelet and holding one's hand on the ground. The user must be stationary during the process or risk disrupting the barrier.

The barrier itself is strong enough to deflect disruptor bolts but the disadvantage is that the more energy it deflects the smaller it gets finally dispersing after reducing to half it's original size. But, it can take a lot of pounding, even from a disruptor, to bring it down.

The user can deactivate the device just by removing his hand from the designated point of origin or by deactivating the bracelet. Once deactivated the bracelet recharges through motion. The more the user moves his hand the more the bracelet will recharge. It discharges only when active.

Modified Night Hawks armor MK-1

File:Tyrenarmor.jpg
Tyren in his armor on the Eye of the Abyss

(Used for fictions ONLY, not an official robe)

Tyren, having created the Night Hawks type armor, upgraded one for his own use. The armor Tyren uses is different in a few details.

The visor on the MK-1 is red, in stead of the original blue, and gives more options to the wearer. Apart from the standard Infrared , Thermal and standard auto-contrast visions, Tyren installed a UV light tracer, Ion particle detector and anti ion defense.

The armor is upgraded to a similar fashion. Tyren added and extra layer of defensive coating. Adding the thigh protectors was also among the upgrades, this ensures even more protection.

Visually the armor differs little from the original, Tyren has added a pauldron and a half-cloak to his knees on his left shoulder, indicating his honorary title in the Night Hawks.

Status: In use for special missions
