Description

This award is bestowed on those who have made scholarly contributions to the dark arts. The Scroll is of a ream of parchment bound by a narrow wrap of akk dog hide. The clasp binding the scroll together is a partial replica of the Legion of the Scholar, though without the transfixing sword. At either end of the obsidian dowels, platinum claws hold firefacet gems. The scroll is inscribed with the text of the work for which it was awarded.

Awarded for

Making a submission (fictional or graphical) to the Dark Brotherhood's Wiki, or authoring or editing an official Dark Brotherhood proposal. Detailed requirements are set forth below.

Dark Side Scroll (DSS) – Awarding for Wiki contributions

The DSS shall be awarded for contributions to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood Wiki based on the following requirements:

A Scroll is awarded for any article selected as a featured article. An article is "featured" when it is placed on the Main Page by the Tribune (or his staff) and placed in Template:Featured article.

Additionally, articles must meet the following requirements by article type:

Character articles

Character articles that meets the following requirements:

Has used the set for the type of article it is representing. Example: They have used one of the order templates, the set layout, and has the proper categories. The set layout can be found on the page Getting Started.
Does not have the tag

Has a minimum of three paragraphs, these are to be well written (as judged by the Wiki staff, comments will be left in the discussion tab), they should be in 3rd person perspective (1st person is not acceptable), and should be more than three sentences long.
Under the section DJB Facts (which will become a section for all pages) information pertaining to positions held, history of where they have been, etc.
Under Outstanding Achievements can be listed battles that have been participated in (GJW). Achievements they have done for the DB (I.e. see Kaine Mandaala's page).
Shadow Academy courses completed, Medals earned, and such are not allowed in these sections – it is not a replacement for their dossier.
Pictures are to meet size restrictions and there must be a character image in the template.

Planet articles

Planet articles that meet the following requirements:

Has used the set template for the type of article it is representing.
Must be at least five paragraphs in length giving a detailed description on the planet and its importance to the DB.
Does not have the tag
