| Thus, the Dictum of Two Skies was carried out. New members came to the field, and for a month Jedi fought Jedi in battle for supremacy, and when the dust finally fell, a new band stood together, united by victory and strength, their weaknesses purged and cleansed in a trial by fire. From the ashes of two Clans arose a new one: Plagueis, a new life born of death. Then the Dictum was released, and as their final act, the Elders of the Star Chamber worked a great feat of Force magic - grasping the skeins of reality itself, they wove together the twin fates of Exar Kun and Satal Keto, and merged their powers into one. | | Thus, the Dictum of Two Skies was carried out. | The shockwaves of the Star Chambers actions, however, continued to ripple out through the Force, and unknown to all, a forgotten Sith Lord stirred in the embrace of the Dark Side. On the distant tomb planet of Korriban, Darth Plagueis arose from death in the shape of a grim wraith of Shadow and Dust, and called out to those whom had taken on his name. | | The shockwaves of the Star Chambers actions, however, continued to ripple out through the Force, and unknown to all, a forgotten Sith Lord stirred in the embrace of the Dark Side. It was then that the [[Crimson Tide]] returned to seek vengeance on their defeaters, and launched an attack on the moving Plagueis forces. The Clan fought valiantly, and despite overwhelming odds against them, held back the Tide forces until the evacuation could be completed. Clan Plagueis was formed from the merger of Clans Exar Kun and Satal Keto. Out of this, three houses were formed: House Exar Kun, House Satal Keto, and House Bane. The latter was soon removed due to low activity. Soon after this, the new clan's home system of Acarr went supernova, and they were forced to move to the Jusadih System. Here, they have slowly started to build up the new clan towards the glory that was its old.
For a summary of the clan, see the Clan Plagueis Prospectus.
The Clan's Namesake
- "You must begin by gaining power over yourself; then another; then a group, an order, a world, a species, a group of species… finally, the Galaxy itself."
- ―Darth Plagueis the Wise
The legendary Sith Lord, Darth Plagueis’ past is shrouded in mystery. A Muun, whose influence touched events in the galaxy for over half a century, Plagueis was discovered and trained by the unknown Sith Master of the time. Little more is known of the Muun Sith Lord’s past other than his choice of apprentice, Darth Sidious.
Although the specific events are unknown, Plagueis chose a gifted Nabooian known as Palpatine. Plagueis trained young Palpatine and declared him furthermore to be known as Darth Sidious. It is believed Plagueis realized that he had found the Sith Lord that would complete the millennium-old plan of Darth Bane: revenge and destruction of the Jedi Order.
From Sidious, it is known that Plagueis trained his apprentice in both the Light and Dark Sides of the Force, revealing Darth Plagueis’ wisdom in the necessity understanding one’s enemy, the Jedi, to assure their eventual destruction. Also revealed by his apprentice, Plagueis was fascinated with the concept of immortality and the possibilities of spontaneous generation, forcing him to delve into the deepest, darkest areas of the Force. By successfully influencing midi-chlorians, Darth Plagueis was able to save people from dying and create life.
After Plagueis had taught his apprentice everything he knew, Sidious killed him in his sleep, declaring himself the new Sith Master. With the ironic death of Plagueis, his legacy through his apprentice survived as Darth Sidious became the Sith Lord destined to take the final steps, to walk among the Jedi unseen, to bring about the destruction of the Jedi Order and the collapse of the Galactic Republic.

House Exar Kun settled on the planet Aerun, while House Satal Keto settled on the planet Morroth. Again, however, Clan Plagueis was robbed of its opportunity to advance in the brotherhood. No more then a year after settling into the Jusadih System, civil war erupted in the brotherhood, and Clan Plagueis could do nothing to stop itself from being pulling into the middle of it. Complaints were soaring in from the clans against other clans, and within a month, the clans were split against each other. Then, suddenly a clone of Grand Master Jac Cotelin appeared, and before the clans knew it, they were split between the two Grand Masters.
Clan Plagueis followed the Red Jac, and along with the other two clans continued their fight against the Blue Jac and those that followed him. Still, Clan Plagueis was a new clan, not even two years old, and as such was still growing and vulnerable. Even with the combined fleet and forces of Clan Satal Keto and Clan Exar Kun, the clan suffered great losses in the fighting that followed.
After nearly eight weeks of skirmishes and outright battles, the civil war came to a stop as the Red Jac overwhelmed the Blue Jac, and the true Jac returned to power. Still, relationships between the clans were still thin, and the Justicar would closely watch events for months to follow.
