Description
Rendered from solid shanks of hollinium, Crescents are cast symbolically in the shape of the Dark Star eclipsing the Brotherhood home-world of Antei. Each Crescent is studded with ancient jewels from the uncovered stores of the warlord Okemi. One jewel, ranging from quartz to diamond, is displayed in the Crescent’s star, dependent upon the jewel’s value. It is believed these jewels still echo with the dark power of Okemi. Those Dark Jedi most active within the Brotherhood possess quite a collection of these awards
Awarded for
Achieving a first, second or third place ranking in any official, non-Vendetta event. Crescents are organized into five levels depending on how large the competition is and how many people take part. If a competition has less than three participants, the level of crescent awarded will be one level lower than originally advertised. For example, the highest award of a fifth level competition would be the Crescent with Emerald Star, followed by the Crescent with Topaz Star, and so on.
Automated awarding
Since the launch of a new competition entry system by JaM3z, crescents are no longer manually awarded. Instead, they are automatically awarded when the competition's creator has entered in the participants and placings.
