The Dentavii asteroid belt is a feature of the Orian system and orbits Orian Major between Sepros and Orian Minor. Due to the relative proximity of Orian Minor parts of the Dentavii asteroid field have begun to circle the smaller star in a roughly figure-of-eight formation. Although there had always been a smaller asteroid field, the belt got its current name when the Sith Lord Urias Orian destroyed the planet Dentavii, shattering the planet's core into millions of fragments.
Exodus Era
The Dentavii belt housed a facility once owned by Dlarit which served as an isolated repair yard for the Navy. With the dissolution of Dlarit, the facility went largely unused until 33 ABY, when Xanos led a group of members to the station. A battle for the remaining shards remaining of Ombus was waged in both the asteroid field and on Dentavii Prime itself. During the events of the attempted awakening of the Ombus star, it appeared the ritual had failed. Since that time, the facility has not been largely utilized given the relative difficulty of moving warships in and out of the belt without damage. Thus, the asteroid belt is currently little more than a place of memories and an astronomical designation.
