Vulwulf the Vehemence is a malicious and powerful Wookiee male Sith Battlelord. He is a student to Darth Fallax, and a slave to the New Dawn Empire. Born on Kashyyyk then kidnapped and enslaved by the New Dawn Empire, Vulwulf grew up in gladiator arenas and trained in the Dark Side under the guidance of the Sith Masters. Vulwulf is deeply attuned to the Sith Code and all it represents, which often leads to Vulwulf disappearing to plot, scheme and betray those around him. Despite his opposition to the New Dawn and Cocytus Empire, many vouch for him as an expert warrior; both with a lightsaber and in close combat.
Vulwulf arrived and served in the Cocytus Invasion against Scholae Palatinae and later the New Dawn, participating in Operation: Midnight and acting against Darth Fallax, most infamously during the liberation of the system.
Character History
Kashyyyk [4BBY - 0ABY]
Evidently nothing is known of Vulwulf’s parents, only that they both lived on Kashyyyk, served in one of the clans and were both Wookiees. According to Darth Fallax’s notes, Vulwulf was found to be bubbling with Force Sensitivity, practically overpowering his cub brothers and sisters in the squall. Fallax goes on to mention that the cub could summon sticks to his hand with ease, and felt no regret using them against the other cubs. It is assumed that Fallax either posed as a Jedi to snatch the Wookiee cub away, or he murdered them and took the cub from their bloodied hands. Both of them then disappeared into the Unknown Regions, while the Empire and the Rebels fought above Yavin IV.
Pain and suffering became the young Wookiee’s life as Darth Fallax took him back to his kingdom, initiating him into the New Dawn and clasping cuffs onto him. Now a slave worker to the new faction, the young cub was forced to mine as much metal he could during the day, then fight to the death in the night. Judging from the countless scars, we can determine Vulwulf struggled to win any fight at first. Overtime, he learned to observe the other children, mimic their movements and agility, then test them in the arenas himself. It was this attention to the little details that grabbed the attention of the most successful gladiators in the arenas. Three giant Wookiees, mighty and powerful, it was a unique moment they entered the arena again, as often they paid others to fight for them. It is rumoured they housed the cub in their cells, training him in the way of the tree, what most people call Wrruushi. Through continuous success and survival, Darth Fallax peaked an interest in the Wookiee pit-dog, and tutored him privately in the ways of the Sith.
Sith Training [0ABY - 30 ABY]
Through trial, error and suffering, Vulwulf was broken down and rebuilt from the ashes into a Sith that Darth Fallax desired. While Fallax disappeared to further his power and goals, Vulwulf continued on to learn and study under his New Dawn disciples. But he was always clasped in cuffs and a shock collar. The core training of the Sith was vulgar, malicious and surrounded in cruel intent.
Firstly, Vulwulf would attend a ceremony of power, where the disciples would engage with one another, skirmishing among themselves in order to prove the greatest Sith of them all. The Wookiee would be a spectator for the majority of this, until the overlord was declared victorious, then he would set his sights on Vulwulf and engage in a series of excruciating torture methods, which were delightful for the disciple. Next was the trials with a lightsaber, as Vulwulf had never seen nor heard of one before, he was forced to craft one from the materials around the compound. He was given no metal parts, he was given no crystal nor the technique on crafting one. Instead he was told where to find the metal ores, how to use a smeltery and forge, the best techniques in meditation and who owned kyber crystals within the kingdom.
When he was much older and wiser, Vulwulf was sent privately as a means of muscle for various New Dawn missions, Often alone, but sometimes accompanied with the Disciples, he would attack businesses or people who owed them credits. Stealing what he can, bartering then betraying or pretending to be their ally, they would scour the galaxy for small time assets that would aid the New Dawn mission. Finally, the last trial of his Sith training was the study and meditation of the Sith knowledge within holocrons. Countless centuries of dark side techniques, violent historical events and genuine Sith lectures were drilled and implanted into Vulwulf’s mind.
In essence, he was trained to fight like a Sith, behave like a Sith and finally learn like a Sith. His training was complete, the Disciples taught him everything they knew from their long lost ruler Darth Fallax, and anointed him as Battlelord Vulwulf the Vehemence. A symbol of the New Dawn’s unholy and demonic powers, Vulwulf was praised as the blessed student of Darth Fallax.
Invasion of Cocytus [30ABY - 34ABY]
From the outer rim of space, the New Dawn received a strange yet familiar call, ordering them to its coordinates. Proclaiming himself to be Darth Fallax, the man in the mask urged his disciples to join him in this virgin system in the name of corruption. It didn’t take too long for the entire faction to pack their things, fly to the edge of Cocytus space and aid their returning leader. The golden age of the New Dawn had returned, and Vulwulf was finally reunited with his old master.

Physical Description
Vulwulf was born on Kashyyyk, but enslaved in the dungeons of the New Dawn. He has multiple scars, scratches and markings hidden under his fur from his duration as a slave. The Wookiee has a thick coat of bark brown fur, which sheds or grows depending on the season. His eyes are ignited with a bright crimson iris, crowned with orange around the pupils. The hair on his head is braided and styled in order to keep him looking aesthetically pleasing to the eye. He has a beard that is braided and locked with a series of silver intricate chains, zagging horizontally as golden coins hang from the edges. Vulwulf is a mighty and hulking warrior, with arms and legs built like trunks and his torso rigidly built with muscle and fur.
Apart from his jewellry, Vulwulf only wears a kilt made of a charcoal cloth, decorated with sashes and more golden coins. The kilt and sashes themselves are lined with a dark red frame, iconic to the Sith. Patterns of rectangles, triangles and squares form a series of dais and steps across the kilt and sashes, with each pattern leading to a singular square at the waist.
The only equipment Vulwulf owns, is his lightsabers attached to the clip on each hip.
