The branch of Clan Erinos currently residing on Selen have a long and storied history with Clan Arcona of the Brotherhood. Residing on a compound somewhere within the remote reaches of Apaec, these Mandalorians uphold a pact of tentative fealty to Arcona and its Shadesworn, lending their weapons and beskar’gam when called upon to help thwart threats to the Dajorra System and its people. One shouldn’t mistake the Erinos’ allegiance to Clan Arcona as blind loyalty, though, for old grievances still color the perceptions of Clan Erinos’ senior members. For those who can still feel the sting of betrayal by one who was both Erinos and Shadesworn, there likely will always remain an air of suspicion, begrudging respect, and in some cases, hatred, for the Brotherhood clan.
This apprehensive posture toward Arcona presents itself not only in the way many Erinos members will quickly correct anyone who mistakenly considers them actual Shadesworn themselves, but also in the way the Erinos have remodeled their compound in the wake of the massacre that left their fates forever altered. Although there are numerous facilities and living quarters (both personal and communal) present above ground, the vast majority of both exist underground, which can only be accessed via a network of secure tunnels hidden on the complex grounds.
