Vessel Info
The Darkest Night is one of the two Bothan Assault Cruisers in Clan Arcona. The vessel was commissioned to the Clan in 27 ABY after the Eighth Great Jedi War fleet reset. The ship takes it name from the powerful Shadowcrafting technique that is only available to the most elite of the Clan Arcona’s Shadow Guard. The Darkest Night was given to House Galeres from the date of its commission and has since that time been used as the Quaestor's seat of power in battle, feuds and wars.
Role
The Darkest Night acts as a carrier for the Expeditionary Force, having fighter squadrons consisting of 12 BTL-S8 K-wing assault starfighters, 24 XJ X-Wing starfighters and a squadron of 5 AIC-4 shuttles. The role of the vessel is to act as the flagship of Galeres, it is this ship that the Quaestor commands from.
Action
The Darkest Night first saw action in the inter-House Feud, a set of small issues that escalated into conflict between the two Houses of Clan Arcona. The Darkest Night was the crucial centerpiece of House Galeres in its campaign against House Qel-Droma, but the feud was cut short by the fast action of the Consul and the power of the ISDII Eye of the Abyss II.
The next time the Bothan Assault Cruiser saw serious action was in 29 ABY during a feud with Clan Scholae Palatinae and Clan Plagueis, as the ship was sent with the Arcona Expeditionary Force into the Cocytus System to fight the enemy Clans' fleets, as well as the Yuuzhan Vong. The BAC sustained some minor damage during the battle, but nothing too serious.
Also, to note, there are a few refugees living on board, although the bulk of them are housed on the Abyss. These refugees were generated after the Dajorra System was lost to the Yuuzhan Vong during the Eighth Great Jedi War.
The Darkest Night has since participated in events and conflicts which led up to the reclaiming their home system of Dajorra from the Yuuzhan Vong menace.
In the recent events known as the Dark Crusade, the BAC Darkest Night took action in multiple conflicts that have led to their victories over the other clans and houses of the Dark Brotherhood.
Officers
The officer serving aboard the BAC Darkest Night were hand selected by Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar, each of the officer on the deck are the best in their chosen field.
Complement
Currently attached to the Darkest Night are 4 squadrons of fighters, which together form Wing II of the Arcona Expeditionary Force. Wing II is commanded by Elan Gable
There are also 6 Armored Interface Craft-4.

The troop complement attached to the Darkest Night forms the eleventh division of the Arcona Army Corps. It is commanded by Colonel Jessica Slatt
