History
Former smuggler and pirate was given the chance to serve in the Arconan Militia after outmaneuvering several of their gunships and managing to escape to a planet where he ended up being hunted and captured. He was given the impossible task of wrangling the Black Tide under his control, which he then managed to do. Given a stay of execution at the behest of the squadron, he came to be the best Commander the Black Tide ever had and the only one who managed to deal with their insubordination. He even managed to weed out several traitors to the cause and had them “dealt with”. No one is sure what happened to these people, or even who they were. However the Galerean Quaestor noticed the dramatic change and after a year his stay of execution for smuggled was eradicated permanently, so long as Zy Tier continued to work to the needs of the Shadow Clan.
Personality
A stern, yet calm man, Commander Zy Tier has a very commanding presence. Although he doesn’t quite inspire loyalty as his half-brother does, he commands respect and obedience, through his intolerance for being second guessed or disobeyed. His temper is very short and failure is not tolerated in any way. He has shot and killed several second in commands for questioning his orders or even blatantly arguing with him. Not even his own half-brother will test his temper. He has a major soft spot for his younger sibling, though he’d never admit it.
Appearance
Tall for his race and with his montrals he is nearly 7 feet tall. He has 4 lekku, each at least 4 feet in length. His black eyes are cold and piercing despite their seeming lack of pupils. One knows when Commander Zy is glaring at you. His bright red skin with the white markings makes him even larger and more intimidating. He knows this and will sometimes rim his black eyes with black makeup to make him even more terrifying to make eye contact with. His motto is “If you can’t control them with respect, do so out of fear.”
