To earn the Clan title of Palpatine is to receive a badge of honor that is paramount within the walls of Scholae Palatinae. As guardians of the Palpatine line, protectors of his Dark Side knowledge and advocates to the execution of his will - those who bear the Dark Lord's name do so after establishing themselves as prominent and loyal members of the Imperial Clan. Only those who live up to Palpatine's legacy can be given this honor.

Responsibilities of the Palpatines
Granting the Title
The following process is utilized in the granting of the Clan title:
- The Clan Summit, via means of activity reports, identifies exceptional members within the clan through personal experiences, and recommendations from Clan members and leaders. (Notes on Exceptional Service can be found below along with a couple prerequisites.) They are expected to adhere to the strictest standards and may at times be unable to identify anyone worthy of being granted the title at a given time. If a member is identified as suitable, they may proceed to putting their name forward to the current Palpatines.
- Once a worthy member has been clearly identified, the Consul and Proconsul, or a sitting member of the Palpatines bring the applicant forward to the entirety of the titled members. The assembled members hold a majority vote, based upon the presented application. Only a majority vote in favor finds the member inducted into the ranks of the Palpatines.
- If the member is approved by the titled members, then, the request is put forward to the Grand Master and his Deputy for final approval.
Ideal Notes of Exceptional Service
- Substantial presence in Clan Projects, vendettas, and Clan events.
- Leadership experience within the Clan.
- Must be a member of the Clan for minimum one (1) year before they can be considered. (Prerequisite)
- Must not have AWOLed or left the Clan for any reason within the last year other than for a DC position.(Prerequisite)
- Must be a positive influence upon lower ranked members, including exceptional mentoring of these members. This could include the mentoring of on apprentice up to Journeyman 4. (Prerequisite)

The Honoured Legacy of Palatine are those that are currently active within the Clan and represented upon the Clan Roster. These are the members that have voting privileges upon the presentation of a member to receive the honour of the holding the clan title.

Impetus' rise through the ranks of Scholae Palatinae was initially rapid, becoming Quaestor of Caliburnus within a year, reorganising the house after a merge with Dorimad Sol and leading it to tie with Acclivis Draco in in a house feud. Later, Impetus would become more widely known as Priestess of Lore, upholding the clan's traditions, and later, then as the mother of the special forces, developing an expertise in subterfuge and black ops. She was believed to be killed by a freak heat storm in the Brightlands of Ryloth, a notion that remains for the bulk of the clan. Occasionally, Palatinaens that have been granted the title of Palpatine become Rogue; whether through inactivity of due to reasons that must pull them away from the Brotherhood. These members are welcomed back upon their return and born no ill will.

Much of his foresight has guided this Clan to where it is today and has unified us as a whole. A distinguished Quaestor of Dorimad Sol, Phoenix was essential for many victories of Scholae Palatinae, both by providing direct effort and by offering his leadership to its members. Combining his zero tolerance for complacency and remarkable skills on and off the battlefield, he has always been one of those who made the heart and soul of the Clan. Furthermore, his sharp wit and tongue have more than once outsmarted many that thought themselves to be more clever than what the best that the Clan had to offer. One of the longest consistently active leaders of Scholae Palatinae, Xen'Mordin has demonstrated unwavering loyalty to Brotherhood and Clan. For four years, both he and Archangel, were regarded as unofficial Legacies of Palpatine. Following Scholae Palatinae's reclanning in 38 ABY, it was quickly made official. He served Scholae Palatinae for a great deal of time in various positions, providing influence far beyond what most have done. His own ways, while more subtle and less direct as compared to the reign of Cooch. He later left Scholae Palatinae. | ? |
| Timbal |
|
Timbal was one of the most dedicated and traditional members of Scholae Palatinae. The enthusiasm and zeal he had, both as a member and as a Clan leader, made him one of the most important and influential members of Scholae Palatinae. Timbal always used his skills to the benefit of the Clan. He was probably best known for his integration of Clan lore and history, as well as the establishment of the history of the Clan fleet. During the Ninth Great Jedi War, Timbal was captured and turned away from the Dark Side, accepting the Light and turned into a weapon against the Clan. Thran Occasus beheaded him as a traitor with consent from the Clan Council. | ? |

Lucien was one of those members who took a while to find his home. When he finally arrived, he was welcomed with open arms. A year or so after joining CSP, he was made Knight Commander, and was responsible for the start of the Journeymen competitions. After Phoenix's elevation to Consul, Lucien was elevated to ProConsul and later Consul, where he worked on, amongst other things, the Royal Gazette, the CSP newsletter and doing extensive work on the military. He was known for being inspirational and diligent. Lucien eventually left the clan to pursue his own goals. | ? |
