Operation: Homeland takes place shortly after Operation: Firestorm, with the Dakhani returning home to Aeotheran. After having been attacked unexpectedly by the Dominion before, Bentre Stahoes convinced Darkblade to prepare for future attacks in a staged battle situation, or a “sim”. During the sim, a stealth attack was conducted by the Dominion, in the form of Clawdites impersonating military personnel and disrupting the sim.
Prelude
With the success of Operation: Firestorm, CNS spirits were high. The Summit though had other concerns, knowing well that a counter attack would be imminent for their victory over Agua'tah. It was with this concern that Aedile Bentre Stahoes approached and convinced Quaestor Darkblade to host a mock battle in Seng Karash. Darkblade would lead the defensive team, whilst Bentre would lead the offensive team.
Course of Events
Sometime during the mock battle, the Clawdites had infiltrated the city and taken on disguises as military personnel participating in the battle. When the time was right, they caused chaos and confusion within the city, killing civilians and setting of bombs that destroyed supplies, monorails, ships and other key locations. Before the teams could come together and finally put down the attack, much of the cities streets and military possessions had been damaged or destroyed. The destruction of the spaceport was a heavy blow, halting any general income from trade for months. With amazing luck, Firith'rar J. Versea-Stormwind had survived the explosion in the spaceport which had brought down tons of rubble upon him.
Through the chaos and confusion in the city, the team of Dakhani members were able to put down the impostors. After their victory, Bentre Stahoes stabbed and killed Darkblade, or so he thought. In a twist of events it was revealed that a Clawdite had impersonated Darkblade and that the real Quaestor was unconscious and sedated somewhere in the Lion's Tooth. Lilith Alema'rha Versea-Stormwind found the Quaestor and brought him to med bay promptly. For her efforts, Darkblade had awarded her with the status of Blackguard and sent her away to the Temple of Blood for training. Aul Celsus kept a vigilant watch over his Master until Darkblade had fully recovered.
Once Darkblade was on his feet, he had ordered for the immediate execution of Bentre Stahoes, though he was persuaded to let the human live in the Versea estates, on behalf of Lilith and Firith'rar's requests. Quaestor Tasha Vel'Versea escorted Bentre back to their home and kept him locked inside the house until further notice.
