==== The Final Few ====
==== Origins  ====
The Imperial remnant had left its touch on Dantooine two years before even Cassandra had unleashed her first breath. The ultimate obliteration of the New Republic refugee’s within their city encampment left many in fear and shock, its capital city Garang fell frozen against the aftermath.

It is rumoured that the native Dantari species stayed hidden and rarely showed themselves to the naked eye. But yet in the hidden lines in history, contact with this species has been acknowledged. The most unexpected aid came to the refugee’s, but yet few were saved. The Dantari may have been a primitive species but yet they were strong and clever enough to save the lives of others. It seemed as if little of these people died during there aid on the vulnerable, however they did only but save a little number of lives against the Imperial attack. This left only a small group of the refugee’s alive, the Dantari kept them hidden until they grow to know it was right to let them go. A woman was cradled into the arms of a muscular yet striking man, tears of love and loss seemed to steam down her face as the couple made their way into their new lives on Dantooine.
Born into a recovering world, Cassandra El’sin started life in the midst of small communities and a loving family. The daughter to Antares El’sin, a Scholar and Isabelle El’sin a simple farmer, Cassandra was birthed in the peacefulness of Dantooine, as the first and only child of Antares and Isabelle. The family lived in Garang – the capital city of Dantooine – where Cassandra was raised and loved dearly. Her parents were great influences on the child as she grew up; her father’s strength and her mother’s spirit were just two of the many traits she took on. However, through her early years of life, the little girl became a shy and secluded individual.

==== The Beginning of Something Different ====
By the age of seven, Cassandra had grown away from her mother’s side and nearer to her father than anyone else. Alongside him, the girl felt safe and soon learnt of her father’s fascination of weaponry. She began to appreciate the skills of fighting and the wielding of swords, guns and knives. Feeling encouraged by her father, Cassandra would watch his studies and techniques in awe. However, as her Force affinity was developing, her father became suddenly distant. Although he loved his daughter, he never wanted her to have the same fate as his. So he vanished and his whereabouts was never known.
As time went by this couple grew to a relationship which would normally be forbidden against normal terms, however the strong muscular man who was named Antares El’sin let go of his beliefs. He believed first that the birth of his daughter was wonderful, but his past had found him. With this a deep dark power grew from his soul, he hated this new feeling and call back but yet he could not let it go. His last kiss to both mother and child left him lost as he went back to the path that he choose long ago.
[[Image:Cassandra's Home Planet.jpg|left ]]
As the girl grew up she turned into quite the explorer, although unprotected to the danger what lurked on Dantooine she felt safer than ever. At the age of 10 she discovered the remains of a Dantari temple hidden deep within a kinrath cave, which was full of many mysterious glowing crystals. In her childish acts she took one crystal and left back to her mother. Once back home she met her uncle, he was her father’s brother and brought news of his whereabouts but she wasn’t aloud to hear or even know a thing.

Her loneliness gave her strength, a power she could not explain. She learned to control objects but felt suddenly ill if she were to hold that ability for too long. To protect herself she never practised this around anyone keeping it her secret, although anxious her heart set to never let go into finding more of this power.
With her father gone, Cassandra had become a very emotional child. It was then in these days her dark affinity had spurred.

==== Everyone to be left damned to death ====
==== Despair ====
With the fear of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion cursing all that lived, Dantooine originally became yet again a planet for relocation. Refugees from many planets became to know this as a safe place, but yet as time progressed more death would only come.

Cassandra had reached the age of twelve, her secrets were still untold but yet slowly it turned into great pain. The time of incursion had finally brought itself to her home planet, she felt the pain of many but deep within her strength only grew.
In the years that followed Cassandra had become very distant from the world around her. Her force affinity had grown much stronger and her love for weaponry had only grown, even without her father by her side. By the time she reached the age of twelve, the child had matured greatly as the fear of the Yuuzhan Vong spread across the galaxy. However, when the incursion had reached her home, the Vong brought the planet and its inhabitants down in one brutal strike.
The attack was unnoticed till it actually took place; it caught the New Republic off guard as well as many on the planet itself. Lands became swamped with these rather revolting creatures, but soon aid did come to evacuate the Planet. Admiral Traest Kre’fey’s fleet came rather fast to prevent massacre, but he was still too late to prevent death occurring.

==== Expected Casualties ====
In the heart of the chaos, Cassandra and her mother made an attempt to flee the ensuing battle. But as Coral skippers had lit the sky a fiery red, Isabelle El’sin was killed in their bombardment. Left only with the memories of her Mother and her treasured sapphire pendant, the child managed to escape with hatred for those who brought such pain to her life.
In the rush to escape thousands of people ran for the aircraft for evacuation, a battle almost impossible to win raided the outsides of the capital city whilst an aerial strike from many coralskipper’s crowded the skies. Magma rock struck the earth killing many during each flyby; it destroyed many buildings bringing hell upon the land of Dantooine. However it seemed odd that escape ships were aloud to break away; it seemed as if the Yuuzhan Vong wanted survivors to spread their name and fear.

Cassandra held tight to her mother’s hand heading for their own escape for freedom, her heart beat with more pain with each death spreading into the air. When finally they had reached one of many docking bays, it was more than just expected for the girl’s fate to come to an end. A Coralskipper had broken off from the main attack raiding a bombing run to the streets below; in its path of the deadly magma was the bay they stood at.
With the despair that came to the loss of her mother, Cassandra latched herself onto the closest idle she could find. His name was Lorek Forto, a crime lord of the Outer rim, and a heartless individual. He showed the girl the shadows of the galaxy, from its war to death; he had tainted her soul with his guidance. Although she learned to despise her savior, Cassandra appreciated the training she received in fighting and became fairly skilled with throwing knives and the use of a blaster. As she grew up into her teen years, the girl had matured in a young lady who was just as beautiful as her deceased mother. Then it was in this time when she began her search for the lost legacy of her father.
As her hand broke away from her mother’s wrist, she was almost thrown from the landing pad for her survival. A storm of a thunderous roar echoed and deafened into her ears, her heart sunk with more pain than ever as she could feel the finally scream and heart beat of her mother’s soul.

==== The only way forward ====
==== Freedom ====
Although lost upon the floor of devastation, Cassandra was taken into the arms of her uncle. It was almost surprising he was even there, but it was almost like fate. Before all hell fell to Dantooine for a second time, they escaped on a vessel far beyond the refugee zone. But even before they could reach their next destination, their vessel ran into pirate space in which they were violently attacked and then were boarded.
Her uncle was struck twice with blaster shots only to protect the young girl; she cried in fear only trying hers heart content to call upon her power but failed in the loss of will power due to the devastation she had gone through. Staring blindly at her Uncle she watched him reject any interrogation and in one more shot he lost his last heart beat. Afraid of her own death and realising that the whereabouts of her father became much more a lost legacy struck her deeper, than even hearing the words that she may come in use to the pirates.

==== Lost Secrets of the next step ====
Come her late teen years, Cassandra had become a well-known warrior with a dark lust for blood. Even though the crime lord was her savior, she could never let go of his taint or the pain he caused her. Therefore when he was at his weakest, the woman took the opportunity to take her revenge and murder him. His death had brought her the freedom she wanted, and as she disbanded the followers that were loyal to him, Cassandra fled that life for a new adventure.
Three years had passed with her service to this pirate, but now he had become more of a black market Crime lord. Contact with the Yuuzhan Vong had been provoked; their full base of operations became well hidden within the vast galaxy. Cassandra was still tied to the force, but it remained an echo in her blood as her power within it skills were silenced by her past. She had become much more of a beautiful young lady, developing into stages of adulthood but yet her strong eyes and sweet smile never left. She had been used as much like slave girl, a pleasure toy and slowly hatred tainted her pure soul.
But yet did she know that a chance for all of this to change would come into play. In service of Lorek Forto, she learnt much from combat to piloting skills and felt stronger with these knew skills.

On this one day as she was almost thrown into her quarters after a rather violent beating from her master, Cassandra felt a new strong presence within and around her. Her eyes wandered through the darkness and met with a person who stood hidden within the shadows. The man seemed as if he was the shadows but yet she did not question this. His voice sounded so relaxing but he spoke snappy and strongly. He gave her a warning, of the events to take place; he gave her the knowledge that there was a small vessel ready to be used to take her to the next step in life as well as that she was in much danger if she were to stay here. Her connection to something she felt lost came back, and there from it she stood strong feeling the presence of her father smiling at her compassion and then it seemed as if he vanished.
Her freedom kept her going through those dark times, and gave her the true chance to track down her father. It was then that destiny had led her to the planet Kapsina in the Jusadih system, right into the arms of the Brotherhood.

==== Anxiety for Blood and Freedom ====
=== History of Darkness ===
Standing strong she held onto the crystal and her mothers necklace that she was given long ago, knowing that all of this could change she brought herself together for her next step. But then the Command Cruiser under Lorek’s name shook and an explosion rang out through its entire core. She stared blindly out of her porthole in the darkness of space watching a huge thing creeping towards them, it looked like the core of an asteroid but something much more as she could it shooting out the deadly Coralskippers she had encountered before.
With the ship on full alert, she knew this was the time to act as she made her way through the decks of the cruiser she pick up weaponry from fallen guards and preceded her way to the Command deck. Entering she felt the madness of everyone’s fears of the Yuuzhan Vong, even as she stared at Lorek with her blood lust he was too much in fear himself. Cassandra had heard all the critical warnings but this didn’t stop her, pulling from her clothes a dagger that she had stole. She dug it deep into the neck of Lorek despite his screams, his death was quick and now she felt free. Blood stained her hands and the blade, her eyes shot up looking deep into Lorek’s personal guard. Although weary, her mind felt pain as she threw him out of her path with what she felt to be magic.
When she had finally reached the docking bay, she found a vessel and she was impressed to find it ready to fly. As she jumped into the cockpit, she took off leaving this haunted part of her past forever. Without even being detected by the Vong she escaped watching the glow of the explosion that destroyed the pirate cruiser for good.

==== Into the shadows ====
The voyage to a planet which the girl had never heard off seemed faster than she expected; cradling the dagger Cassandra slid her finger along the blade which was still tainted by the blood of Lorek. The transport vessel shot through the atmosphere, as she looked out of the cockpit her eyes gloomed upon the dying earth of the Planet. It looked ravaged by war, but yet its edging seemed much different than she actually expected. The ship flew over many structures and then finally settled down a place much darker mysterious place than the whole planet put together.
