Ancient History
Ulic has existed as one of many moons around Inos since time immemorial. It was a largely unnotable rock, save for an odd hotspot of Dark Side energy. This would go unnoticed by generations of Sith no doubt in part due to its small size compared to the likes of Necropolis or Dentavii Prime.
New Order Era
In the midst of the continued conflict with the Collective, the Severian Principate and the Orian System's own local struggles, then-Consul Bentre Sadow classifed **Ulic** as a place of interest. It had been noted by the Orian Astronomical Society in the same year during a much-needed survey of the system's natural resources. The first thing which drew the attention of the Sith and the scientists was the concentration of workable metals. This drew a more detailed survey, leading to the discovery of a kyber crystals. The realization that a small trove of the precious crystals could be found in so odd a location drew additional interest from both the Clan leadership and the scientific community. A physical examination of the surface was called for and an expedition was planned. The expedition went off the grid and consequently disappeared after making contact with the surface of the asteroid. No additional expeditions have been made since.
