In 35 ABY, the expedition designated Sands of Time was planned by former Grand Master and House Marka Ragnos’ Quaestor, Muz Ashen Keibatsu. Supported by the Clan’s Rollmaster and the Summit, the intent was to plunder and catalogue artifacts below the surface of the former Sith world of Moraband. A survey team composed of researchers, with members of Naga Sadow acting as a security force to ensure success of the mission.
Course of Events
Discoveries
Once upon the planet’s surface several Clan members assisted in setting up the camp around the dig site. Mactire, Lilith, Firith’rar and Tasha’Vel watched over the initial setup, and it appeared that all was going well. A few hours passed quietly, before a vision of grey humanoids brought all of them to attention. The sands collapsed around the camp, drawing the initial team down into the catacombs below the surface.
A few hours after the vision, Mercenary Riku Keibatsu arrived at the planet by orders of Muz. Bringing additional Clan assets, Warhost and membership alike, the Keibatsu landed upon the surface of the former Sith throne world, but the sands appeared to have claimed the majority of the expedition’s camp. As investigations were underway, the landing party was assaulted by worn, grey armored humanoids in a wave of chaotic violence. Back at the Sadowan Palace, Bentre Stahoes and Locke Sonjie gathered the rest of the available Clan, preparing to reinforce Riku’s team.
Meanwhile, the initial team gathered in the tunnels below. As they discussed the situation they found themselves in, something began to stir in the darkness. Eyes reflected in the light of the team’s activated lightsaber blades. There was something in the tunnels with them, and it didn’t appear friendly.
