The Nebula-class Star Destroyer Encanis was commissioned in 38 ABY to join the Arcona Expeditionary Force. It was given to Clan Arcona for the unit's victory on Nicht Ka during the Fading Light vendetta. It was christened the Encanis, a name reputedly derived from that of a demon whose face was shrouded in shadow.

Vessel Info

The Nebula-class Star Destroyer is one of the most powerful warships to result from the New Republic's New Class Modernization Program, and the Encanis is no different. While it is only 1,040 meters long, the Nebula was designed to be the equal of an Imperial II-class vessel. There have been few interior modifications to the Encanis to differentiate her from her sisters, primarily in barracks for troops and Dark Jedi and the conversion of a few compartments into meditation chambers and databases. The ship does however also incorporate the upgraded Verpine integrated combat systems that were pioneered on the vessels first procured by the Brotherhood as part of operation Tempest Bravo in 27 ABY.

Action

The Encanis has not yet seen any official action as a member of the AEF.

Complement

The Encanis' fighter complement forms Arcona Expeditionary Force Wing IV. Wing IV is commanded by Robert Guilford.

There are also 12 Armored Interface Craft-4, arranged into Upsilon support group.

Troop Complement

The troop complement attached to the Encanis forms the thirteenth division of the Arcona Army Corps. It is commanded by Colonel Braylen Banx.
