The Order of the Sword is a rogue organization currently at large in the Orian system. The only knowledge even of the cult's existence comes from the mad dark side adept Curwen Sunei who was discovered on one of the tomb worlds orbiting Inos during a recent archaeological dig by a team of Disciples of Sadow led by Macron Goura.

The Order is believed to be linked to the spout of bombings throughout the Orian system during 29 ABY at Seng Karash, San Korinar, and Kar Alabrek after bomb shrapnel was discovered with the same sword-like cruciform insignia as was found in Sunei's cavern on Inos. It is also believed to be linked to shared nightmares being experienced by inmates at the Cenota detention facility on Gamuslag.

More recently, in early 30 ABY, members of Clan Naga Sadow, including Cyrus Raze and Kharon Daragon have begun experiencing similar visions to Sunei and the inmates of Cenota. The exact cause of these afflictions is unknown, however Daragon believes Trevarus Caerick to be behind it, and has ordered Cyrus to assemble a team to ransack Kalekka Tower on Antei for answers.

Trivia

The Order of the Sword are to serve as adversaries for Clan Naga Sadow during a series of run-ons planned for 2009. Its role will be similar to the True Brotherhood's in previous years.
