This document outlines the operations within House Marka Ragnos, specifically the duties of each leader and how they interact with the other leaders of the House. This document is updated only by the Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos.

Positions

The Quaestor

The Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos is the overall leader of the House. The overall duties of the Quaestor are House Continuity and Member Experience. He stands at the back and watches the action in front of him, delegating many of his responsibilities to subordinate leaders. The Quaestor's specific duties include:

  • Monitoring the progress of Guardians and Jedi Hunters in the Training Program
  • Tracking Equite and Elder activity
  • Supervising the Training Program
  • Developing subordinate leaders
  • Oversight of the Night Hawks
  • Maintaining the fictional identity of the House
  • Promoting members to Jedi Hunter and Dark Jedi Knight
  • Awarding the Steel Cross

The Aedile

The Aedile of House Marka Ragnos is the second in command of the House, and is training to potentially become Quaestor. The Aedile manages many of the day to day functions of the House. The overall duties of the Aedile are executing the Training Program and monitoring the Battleteams. The Aedile's specific duties include:

The Rollmaster

The Rollmaster of House Marka Ragnos serves as an administrative officer and advisor to the Quaestor. The Rollmaster provides oversight for the House Marka Ragnos Training Program, as well as other duties. The Rollmaster's specific duties include:

  • Tracking Training Program communications
  • Makes recommendations to the Quaestor regarding Masters and Students
  • Maintaining Master-Student Pairings
  • Greeting new members as they arrive in House Marka Ragnos
  • Maintain House Competition Calendar
  • Run and supervise House Level Competitions

Battleteam Leader [Training]

The Battleteam Leaders of the Night Raptors and Night Falcons are tasked with training members to, ultimately, attain the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. These leaders endure great amounts of stress and failure in their jobs, but they also have perhaps the most rewarding tasks. Specific Duties of the Training Battleteam Leaders include:

  • Tracking member activity for Promotions
  • Awarding the Dark Cross
  • Making promotion recommendations to Aedile/Quaestor when appropriate
  • Promoting new members to Novice

Battleteam Leader [Elite]

The Battleteam Leader of the Night Hawks is tasked with building an Elite Battleteam from the members of House Marka Ragnos. They recruit members from the Night Falcons and the House at large. Membership is invite only. The Night Hawks report only to the Quaestor, and it's members have the title of "Spear of the Quaestor". Active members of the Night Hawks may experience accelerated promotions or awards for their high levels of activity. Specific duties of the Elite Battleteam Leader include:

  • Recruiting active members from the House
  • Organizing high numbers of competitions
  • Recommending Promotions and Awards for Battleteam members

Flight Leaders

Flight Leaders are a discretionary position that may be used by any Battleteam Leader. The duties of each Flight Leader will vary based on the Battleteam Leader.

Hand of Ragnos

The Hand of Ragnos is selected every 60 days in a challenge period, as detailed by the Quaestor. S/he defends his or her position in each challenge period. The Hand of Ragnos is tasked with duties by the Quaestor and House Summit. This position allows members to develop their leadership experience, as well as provide significant activity towards rewards and promotions. Specific duties of the Hand of Ragnos include:

  • Running House Wide Competitions

Lictor of the Council

The Lictor of the Council is selected every 30 days in a challenge period, as detailed by the Quaestor. S/he defends his or her position in each challenge period. The Lictor of the Council is tasked with duties by the Quaestor and House Summit. This position allows memebrs to develop their leadership experience, as well as provide significant activity towards rewards and promotions. Specific duties of the Lictor of the Council include:

  • Running House Wide Competitions with a humorous nature, and providing "morale boosting" for the House through fun activities for it's members.
