History

When House Marka Ragnos was formed it needed someone that could be trusted and had experience in leading; thusly Sith Warrior Ximeno, the former Sith Commander of House Naga Sadow and a trusted colleague of Tron, was named the first Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos. Soon even the most devoted had to find their own way of dealing with the dark side and Sith Warrior Ximeno left command of Marka Ragnos. Proconsul Robert Daragon took over as it's Quaestor stepping down as Proconsul.

After sometime as the Consul, Tron decided to further his studies in the dark side, but to do this he would have to leave the clan and step down as Consul. His replacement was his much trusted friend and former Aedile and Proconsul, Robert Daragon. With his appointment to Consul, Marka Ragnos' Quaestor was once again opened up. Obelisk Warrior Raistlin took his place as Quaestor, leaving the position of Aedile for this role.

Robert Daragon, however, found to have many disagreements with some of the Dark Council's members that had been selected during Grand Master Stryker's tenure. He could not stand to act as if he was blindly leading the clan while these disagreements continued to progress further and further. He stepped down and Eagleye was made Consul.

Eagleye was in need of a new Proconsul and some Quaestors. He made John Striker his Proconsul, Krath Priest Xavier the Quaestor for Marka Ragnos, and Obelisk Warrior AceofDrkndHrts the Quaestor of Primus Goluud.

In time Krath Priest Xavier and his Aedile, Dark Jedi Knight William Flechette both stepped down and new replacements were needed. Tron, once again Consul, and his Proconsul John Striker saw a future in the advancement of two young Jedi, Dark Jedi Knight Aseret and Jedi Hunter Arkane Skywalker Maithal. Aseret became the Quaestor and Arkane the Aedile.

In time, the band of Dark Jedi gave into their anger, they felt they could become more powerful this way, but this only led to inner-house fighting. Krath Priestess Aseret and a handful of others left to join Ektrosis of Taldyran. Dark Jedi Knight Arkane Maithal was also involved and willingly stepped down from his position. A new staff of leaders was needed for Marka Ragnos, Battlelord Tron and Battlemaster Striker chose Dark Jedi Knight Mordann to lead this house, in turn Mordann chose Shonan Darksol to be his new Aedile.

Shonan Darksol soon left for other duties, however, and a Dark Jedi by the name of Trevarus became Aedile of House Marka Ragnos. In time, Marka Ragnos' Quaestor Mordann became Proconsul leaving Trevarus to become Quaestor of the Krath House, and a new Aedile, Dark Jedi Knight Enerum Shka, came into power.

History Up To The Formation Of The House

See House Marka Ragnos Prospectus - Brief History

Early History

Much of the history of the house pre-Split has been lost. This section is composed of what fragments were recovered by Clan historians.

The history of the house at its creation was somewhat chaotic. The first Quaestor of the multi-order House Marka Ragnos was Dark Jedi Knight Ximeno, the Commander of the Sith Ravana Squadron in House Naga Sadow. The first Aedile was Dark Jedi Knight Raistlin. However, Ximeno's reign as Quaestor did not last long, and he was eventually replaced by Robert Daragon, who had earlier stepped down as Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow. Raistlin stayed on as Aedile.

When Robert Daragon was named as the next Consul his replacement was Dark Jedi Knight Raistlin. At this point in the house's history, the only known phyle in the house is the cimerii Sect. Raistlin's Aedile was Dark Jedi Knight Aseret. Under Raist's tenure the house moved into its home on the forest moon of Lien in the Pirath system before eventually moving to Loki in the Phare system. Raist's first Aedile was Dark Jedi Knight Aseret and his second was Dark Jedi Knight William Flechette.

Raistlin fell victim to the Grand Master's reconstructing of the houses in the Dark Brotherhood. When houses became order-specific, it was inevitable that some leaders would lose their positions, and this happened to Raistlin. At this point, the house became the Krath arm of Clan Naga Sadow.

Raistlin's replacement was Krath Priest Aseret. She named Dark Jedi Knight Arkane Skywalker as Aedile and Jedi Hunter Enerum Shka as Rollmaster. The house established a rudimentary "Mentor" program headed up by Jedi Hunter Reiam. Aseret's reign only lasted one month, and she was replaced by Mordaan.

Mordaan

Mordaan was originally in Clan Scholae Palatinae serving as Aedile of House Caliburnus. While the reasons for an outside appointment to the Quaestorship are not absolutely known, it is proposed that a lack of steady leadership in the house from within prompted an outside intervention.

A growing problem at the time was addressed by Mordaan. "An upstart organization known as the Guild is trying to lure our members away from us and infiltrate our organization with spies. If anyone is contacted by this organization I would like to hear from you ASAP." It is unknown whether or not this problem was Brotherhood-wide or localized in the house.

For unknown reasons (perhaps related to "Guild" problem), Aedile Arkane Skywalker was removed from his Aedile position by the Dark Council. He was made Tetrarch of the Cimerii sect.

However, Jedi Hunter Reiam, who served as the initial head of the Mentor program, returned to the house to cause trouble and continually harassed the house. "Jedi Hunter Reiam blessed us with his presence again. Don?t listen to his immature insults just carry on with the business at hand. Eventually he will get bored of his petty grudge and leave us alone."

Mordaan replaced Arkane Skywalker with Dark Jedi Knight Shonan Darksol as Aedile, and named Jedi Hunter Daihok as Rollmaster. The Night Hawks phyle was created (which still exists to this day) and its first Tetrarch was Jedi Hunter Trevarus Caerick. Another new phyle was created, the "Black Omen," and its Tetarch is Enerum Shka. The Night Hawks are established as the elite phyle of the house.

Later, Mordaan named Dark Jedi Knight Trevarus Caerick Aedile of the house. The Cimerri Sect and Black Omen Phyles were either disbanded or reorganized, and at the end of this process, the only two phyles in the house were the Night Hawks and the Dark Scholars.

After several months as Quaestor, Mordaan resigned, and Aedile Treavus Caerick rose to power.

Trevarus Caerick

Trevarus Caerick chose Dark Jedi Knight Enerum Shka has his Aedile and immediately disbanded the Dark Scholars Phyle. A lack of interest in the Phyles forced him to force anyone above the rank of Acolyte to be placed in a Phyle. He also created a sophisticated system to root out weaker and inactive members.

The reign of Trevarus Caerick saw the passing of a Great Jedi War. In his wisdom, he sought to archive the stories and writings of the house by building a Dark Library. Also, in addition to leading the Clan's Krath House, Trevarus Caerick served as the Magistrate to the Krath High Priest, marking a trend for members of the house to ascend to more important positions in the Krath Order.

Treavarus Caerick sought to have the house's scholars challenge those from other houses, and he succeeded in establishing such a competition when the Night Hawks battled the Horsemen of the Apocalypse Phyle in House Ektrosis of Taldyran. The outcome of this battle is unknown.

After almost a half a year of service, Trevarus Caerick was elevated to Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow. Taking his place was Aedile Enerum Shka.

Enerum Shka

Enerum Shka's reign was plagued with unrest in the house. Not only was there insubordination in the ranks (it is unknown whether or not this trend was DB-wide or only in the house), but he noticed a trend of Phyles attempting to steal members from each other. Enerum Shka reminded the house that while a certain level of competition between the Phyles was acceptable, that they would have to stand united against the House's enemies.

Enerum Shka also planned and implemented the relocation of the Library of Darkness established under Trevarus Caerick. He established the "Dark Librarian" position to tend to the library. He also proposed a System of Mentors similar to the one attempted earlier in the house's history.

Enerum Shka was eventually removed by Trevarus Caerick. He was replaced by Krath Priest Rage.

Rage

Rage continued where Enerum Shka left off. He implemented the house mentor system proposed by his predecessor. His reign witnessed Operation Darkfall, the Brotherhood-wide competition. The Clan as a whole did well, but it is unknown how much House Marka Ragnos contributed to the effort.

Rage named Krath Archpriest Daihok, former Rollmaster of the clan, as his Aedile.

The house under Rage's reign lingered with low activity levels. In an effort to revitalize the house, Rage created a new ladder-based Phyle system. The Night Seekers would be the training phyle, the Night Death would be the intermediate phyle, and the Night Hawks would remain the elite Phyle of the house. He proceeded to assign leaders and members to the phyles.

Rage was replaced by Shae-Lynn Jade.

Shae-Lynn Jade

Shae-Lynn Jade began her term as Quaestor completing some of the tasks started under Rage. During her tenure, the Clan was embroiled in a Great Jedi War in which the clan placed 2nd.

During her term, the Clan commenced its first Artisans Competition, a tradition that continues to this day. Other than that she provided stable, yet unremarkable, leadership.

She was replaced by the clan Overlord, founder of the Clan, Krath Pontifex Tron.

Tron

Tron transferred from the Sith Order to take the position. His first order of business was naming a new Aedile. His choice was another person from outside of the house, Krath Archpriestess Mairin Astoris.

Tron, being ever strict with the house roster, weeded out the inactives, and throughout his reign the house stood at very few members, numbering about fifteen.

Tron engaged the members of the house against other houses in the Dark Brotherhood. This included a couple of competitions and cooperative missions with House Acclivis Draco of Scholae Palatinae. The clan as a whole engaged Clan Satal Keto.

Tron changed the name of the Night Hawks to "Prophecy." He named Jedi Hunter Iylan Kano as tetrarch. Very soon thereafter, Mairin was named Krath High Priestess, and Iylan Kano took the vacant Aedile position.

However, even Tron stepped down, and was placed by his Aedile, Iylan Kano.

Iylan Kano

Iylan Kano chose former Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow, Robert Daragon as Aedile.

Trevarus Caerick returned to the house, and when he found that his beloved Night Hawks had been changed to Prophesy, he was furious. He insisted that the name be changed back to Night Hawks, and it was done.

Aedile Robert Daragon eventually moved to House Ludo Kressh, and Dark Jedi Knight Neo was chosen as his replacement. Unfortunately, Neo tragically died in an accident shortly after getting the position. Being his good friend, Iylan Kano took a leave of absence from the house. Since the house did not have an active Quaestor or Aedile, Krath Pontifex Voranyen was asked to take temporary command, which he returned to Iylan Kano upon his return.

Krath Priest Khobai was chosen as as the new Aedile. He started a campaign to expand the membership of the house, which had been kept low under Tron's reign. The two also hoped to strengthen the clan by introducing inter-phyle competition.

A few months later Khobai resigned and was replaced by Dark Jedi Knight Jonuss Rai. Iylan Kano took another extended leave of absence, leaving Rai in charge almost immediately after being appointed Aedile. The house, in its weakened state, did poorly in the Dark Brotherhood's Stone of Light competition, and this nearly drove Rai mad. The house's poor performance was noted by the Krath High Priest, who gave notice to Rai.

Eventually, Iylan Kano's lack of activity translated into a resignation, and Rai became the new Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos.

Rai

The house's poor performance under Iylan Kano infuriated Rai, and he set to undo this. Rai was extremely hard on the members of the house, demanding a great deal of effort on their part.

He initially named Robert Daragon (once again) as his Aedile, but Bob once again left shortly after his appointment. His replacement was Krath Priest Tomaas Banys.

The recruitment phase begun under Khobai eventually was successful. The house numbered several dozen at the peak of Rai's tenure. In addition, Rai restored the house to a full complement of three Phyles.

However, Rai's tenure was chaotic. Many internal and external struggles within the house weighed on his mind, and at one point Rai thought about resigning. However he decided not to do so because he felt his presence was the only thing keeping the house together. They were dark times for the house and Rai took it all in. However, it eventually did take its toll on Rai and he did resign.

Tomaas Banys

Aedile Tomaas Banys led the house as interim leader while a new Quaestor was chosen. In fact, this took several weeks, but eventually Tomaas Banys was named Quaestor. There was nothing remarkable about Tomaas Bany's short tenure, except for the appointment of Ghost Angel, Tetrarch of the Night Hawks, as Aedile. She eventually became Quaestor. This leads the story of house to the split.

History Post-Exodus

With the schism between the Seven and the Imperial Remnant, the House was forced to evacuate their cathedral on Loki and follow the leadership of the Clan to the Orian system.

Ghostangel

Under the leadership of Epis GhostAngel, they settled on the planet Tarthos to continue their studies and foster their knowledge of the Dark Side.

Tron

However, affected deeply by the schism and her need to leave many comrades behind, Ghost Angel soon stepped down from her position as Quaestor of the House. The Overlord of the Clan, Astronicus Aurelius Sadow, took up leadership of the House. However, the Overlord was soon called away to other duties, allowing Archpriest Janos Silverwulf to step into the open position.

Janos Silverwulf

This marked the beginning of a period of great stability for House Marka Ragnos- for many months Janos Sadow kept the House under tight control, allowing the members under his care to grow and prosper. He was soon joined on the House Summit by Epis Tissaya Luna Argat, who served as Aedile of Marka Ragnos for several months.

Korras

One member under Janos' care would go on to particularly great things- Korras, who grew from a lowly Apprentice swiftly to soon serve as Aedile and then Quaestor of the House. Meanwhile, two brothers Muz Ashen and Nekura Manji Keibatsu took up positions as Tetrarchs of the two Phyles of Marka Ragnos- the Night Hawks and the Avatars of Death.

Muz Ashen Keibatsu

These two brothers would go on to serve as Quaestor and Aedile of the House, Muz (the elder) taking the reins as Quaestor and aided by his younger brother. This marked a period of great prosperity for Marka Ragnos- under their command, Marka Ragnos was able to beat back the attacking K'hamar'ans and secure their palace on Tarthos. The brothers soon learnt that other Clans had also faced K'hamar'an invasion- their achievements were recognized by the Dark Lord of the Sith, Naga Sadow granted the title of 'Second Clan of the Krath'.

Nekura Manji Keibatsu

Muz Ashen was soon named Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow. Aedile Manji took his place as Quaestor.

Kat Pridemore

The reign of Kat Pridemore began as a particularly good time for House Marka Ragnos. Following Manji's incredible tenure as Quaestor, Kat continued in the steps he had begun. House Marka Ragnos entered a time of constant activity and increases and membership. J'Rai Sadow returned to service as Kat's Aedile, and together, the two had many months of success leading the House.

However, things would soon take a turn towards the worse, as personal issues would begin to affect the clan. Affected negatively by these issues, Kat Pridemore began to withdraw from the Brotherhood, and with personal life hitting J'Rai Sadow as well, House Marka Ragnos began to deteriorate. During the final months of Kat's tenure as Quaestor, the membership began to decline, new membership retention was done, house activity dropped to almost nothing. Soon, however, fate would strike, and Kat Pridemore was selected as the new Proconsul for Clan Naga Sadow, opening the doors for the second reign of J'Rai Sadow.

J'Rai Sadow

J'Rai's second reign of House Marka Ragnos would be short. After selecting Shikyo Keibatsu as his Aedile, he quickly began to implement a wide variety of changes to salvage what was left of House Marka Ragnos, and begin the long rebuilding process. Illness would soon take J'Rai away from Marka Ragnos, as real life medical concerns finally forced him to resign. Following his resignation was a bitter application process for the next Quaestor.

Derev Niroth

Following the resignation of J'Rai Sadow, Consul Manesh Sadow opened applications to the Clan for the next Quaestor. Then Clan Rollmaster, Derev Niroth submitted his application, using his platform as Rollmaster to attempt to boost him into the position. After a tough decision, Derev was appointed over Aedile Shikyo Keibatsu. The beginnings of the reign of Derev Niroth looked dark, as disputes quickly broke out throughout the house and clan. However, this would soon be overcome, and after making peace with his Aedile, Derev Niroth set out on a path to repair the damage caused by Kat Pridemore's reign, and to bring House Marka Ragnos back to glory.

What followed was a shaky series of proposals and changes. Many changes were made in the junior leadership of the Clan, followed by more drastic changes. In an effort to consolidate activity, and retain as many members as possible, Derev ordered the closing of two Battleteams - the Night Raptors, and the Night Falcons. The Night Hawks remained, as the sole battleteam of House Marka Ragnos, and was given a new mission - The Elite Battleteam of the House. Along with these changes, Derev recommissioned the long dormant Ravana Squadron, the original Sith Battleteam of House Naga Sadow. It's mission was to train and see that the House retained all of it's new apprentices. After a short test trial, it was clear Ravana was a success, retention rates skyrocketed. Later, the Avatars of Death would be recomissioned, as an extension of Ravana. These Battleteams comprised the entirety of the House's Training Program. Active member in the House began to sky rocket, lost members decreased, and productivity rose.

All seemed to be going well, until Derev came into conflict with Manesh Sadow - then Consul, over matters concerning the open Proconsul rank. Derevko resigned from his position and took to the Rogues to calm down, causing distress among many of the House's Members. He named Shikyo as his successor, hoping that his Aedile would continue to grow, improve and nurture the House as he had done.

Shikyo Keibatsu

Shikyo's reign began well, his path relatively easy to continue from Derevko's success. He appointed Ylith Atema from House Ludo Kressh, former Aedile of House Oriens Obscurum as his Aedile. The house flowed for a short time, through the Second Darkness Rite of Supremacy. Unfortunately, Ylith was soon forced to resign due to real life. A long period of time without an Aedile followed, the House led by only Shikyo. Though many people applied, it was Nekura Manji Keibatsu, one of Shikyo's family who took up the mantle of Aedile. The pair currently lead the House as it flourishes.

Quejo Rak'ul Drakai

                                          NO DATA AVALIBLE

Trevarus Caerick

Trevarus replaced Quejo as Quaestor; the Dark Jedi Master came out of retirement to lead House Marka Ragnos and prove to he was still able too. He took the Sith Commander of Ravana Squadron (who was also Clan Envoy) as his Aedile. Ashura Isradia had been Aedile once a long time ago, and knew what was involved in running a House.

The Elder began to coach the Equite in fine details of leadership; Ashura was far more grounded in the requirements of the positions as things had changed a lot since Trevarus last held a leadership position. The two worked well together bring the House together, rebuilding it one layer at a time. A wild rumor flew about saying that Caerick's insanity imprinted itself on Isradia; however Ashura never showed any outwards signs of insanity.

Trevarus would eventually step down as Quaestor to become Consul; Ashura would fill his void.

Ashura Isradia

Being Quaestor was Ashura's fist time, and to say he was ready was an understatement. He wanted it though. The Sith for a while led the House on his own, but he eventually needed to find an Aedile, and he finally did so in the form of Faeril Munlear. Isradia decided to implement a type of Rule of Two style of relationship with Faeril.

House Marka Ragnos began to grow more powerful. He installed Ylith Atema as Battleteam Leader of Night Hawks; his wife, Jade Atema, would eventually replace him and lead the Battleteam to even greater heights. A young Jedi Hunter by the name of Alexander Anderson would become the new Battleteam Leader of Ravana Squadron.

The Quaestor saw Marka Ragnos for what it was; a Krath House, a House where the next generation of Dark Jedi, Journeymen, would rise up the ranks to become the future of the Clan. He saw the Disciples of Ragnos cult a way to do this.

The House continued to grow under the leadership of the House Summit and the Battleteam Leaders. The House was a breeding ground of knowledge; the dark doctrine of Marka Ragnos was an initial step in this.

As expected, House members began to go on to bigger and better things; his Aedile being one of them as she applied for the vacant position of Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh and got it. Alexander Anderson replaced her and the House kept on growing. Ashura replaced Tron as Proconsul and the Quaestor position was opened up throught the Dark Brotherhood.

Derev Niroth

With this new vacancy, the Consul and Proconsul elected Derev Niroth to assume the mantle of leadership in House Marka Ragnos once again.
