The battle raged on for several hours, with the [[Ascendant Fleet]] engaging the ground defense forces of [[Vizsla]] while the [[Vizsla]] Fleet assaulted the superior Plagieus armada. In the end, Deathwatch was unsuccessful in reaching [[Zsoldos]] in enough time to turn the tide of the incursion.
