Character History

"Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure."
―George Edward Woodberry

Riverche rarely likes to talk about her past; she prefers to focus on the present.

Youth (11 ABY to 27 ABY)

Riverche was born on Coruscant in the year 11 ABY. She was the second kid, and the only daughter, in a middle class family. Her parents met shortly after the battle of Endor and quickly decided to stay together. She was a force adept with little training, and he had just ended his service with the empire. About two years after they met, their son was born followed by Riverche several years later. In an attempt to protect their kids from the upheaval of the galaxy, they decided to concentrate on raising their kids. He opened a bar near a busy spaceport on Coruscant; she stayed home with the kids.

Riverche was a very shy kid that didn’t get into a lot of trouble. She had a few good, loyal friends, that would hang out with her. Her brother was the opposite. He constantly found new ways to cause trouble with the authorities, and he had attracted a large group of friends. When he was sixteen, their dad gave him a job washing dishes at the bar. The next two years, he seemed to have settled down a little. The authorities came by less, and his friends had almost disappeared. He appeared to have turned his life around.

Until one day, he vanished, leaving a void at the bar. Riverche’s mom filled the void, and Riverche would spend the time studying at a table in the back of the bar. Sometimes, she got permission to go out with friends. At the end of the day, Riverche’s dad would have the cook prepare a meal for the family before sending them home. Life continued this way until shortly after Riverche’s sixteenth birthday.

Leaving Home (27 ABY)

On the day that Riverche left home, her dad had asked her to go to the spaceport and supervise the unloading of a delivery for the bar. She and the pilot were going over the manifest in the cargo hold of his ship when the whole loading bay shook violently. He ran halfway down the plank before he turned around and re-entered the ship. The pilot told Riverche to strap herself in as he started the engines. Once they were in space, the pilot agreed to take Riverche on as an assistant.

Travels (27 ABY to 36 ABY)

Riverche spent the next nine years travelling around the universe delivering parts to various places. The job was not the most glamorous, but Riverche saw it as a way to see new places. Upon landing, her job was to go over the manifest with the customer and check to make sure everything was there and nothing was damage during transport. During flight times, she was tasked with securing the cargo and making a list of essentials that were needed from the next stop.

Joining The Dark Jedi Brotherhood (36 ABY)

After nine years in space, the pilot got tired of delivering parts, and he gave Riverche the option to join him in retirement or he could drop her off at a planet of her choice, after their last delivery. This delivery was unusual from the beginning. A hooded figure asked them to take him and his cargo to the Sith regions. On the way, Riverche and the hooded figure started to get to know each other a little. He showed her a few simple tricks and offered to set up some training for her if she wanted. Since her job was coming to an end, she decided to take the offer. The pilot touched down at the landing bay near the Shadow Academy, and Riverche exited the ship to start her training.

Rhelg (36 ABY)

Riverche flew through the entrance courses at the academy, and she was transferred to the House of Galeres in Clan Arcona. Within a week of arriving, the whole clan was sent to capture Rhelg. Because Riverche was new at the time, the house leaders did not know what to expect from her. She stood her ground and was able to help in a small manner; however, most of her time on Rhelg was spent learning how the house operates and the rules.

Independance Games (36 ABY)

Upon returning from Rhelg, the Dark Jedi Brotherhood celebrated their tenth year after the Exodus. Different members of the club threw together over sixty fun games for everyone to try. This was the first time, since joining the Brotherhood, that Riverche could show what she knew. Out of the sixteen games that she tried, she placed in three of them.

Bhargebba (37 ABY)

Once the games ended, the clan set out once again to capture a planet. This time they were headed to Bhargebba. Riverche helped anyway she could in the fight for the planet. Riverche’s main contribution to the fight for Bhargebba came in the form of research. She helped the leaders and a few other members to chronicle the war up to the this point.

Homecoming (37 ABY)

The homecoming from Bhargebba was suppose to be a time to relax and to regroup; however, the Death Walkers had a different plan. While S'nar Que Seshai was on a routine maintenance job, they took him hostage and tortured him. Not wanting to give up on him, the house leaders devised a plan to get rid of the Death Walkers permanently. As members of the newly reformed Soulfire Strike Team, Riverche and Nath Voth were sent to the station were Snar had been to plant a program in the main command console. While loading the program, the leader attacked Nath and knocked Riverche unconscious.

Svolten (37 ABY)

With the Death Walkers out of the way, the clan set off to capture Svolten. Svolten wasn’t like any other planet that Riverche had visited before. The atmosphere had brain parasites, that would turn humanoids into zombie like creatures. Everyone had to wear environmental suits. As a joint operation, the battle teams of Arcona invaded a mining platform owned by the One Sith. Soulfire’s job was to enter through the bottom of the platform and clear out the miners.

Knighthood (37 ABY)

Riverche returned from Svolten to continue her studies. During one of her study sessions, Valhavoc summoned her to his new office in the Spire. In a private meeting, he gave her a lightsaber and declared her a knight. After being knighted, Riverche spent the next week training with Marick Arconae and other members of Arcona in preparation for the clan's trip to Kalsunor.

Kalsunor (37 ABY)

The Clan expected to fight the giant silooths rumored to inhabit the planet, but things did not go as planned. The reconnaissance forces were able to land on the XQ-2 platform, which was controlled by the Mantis Syndicate, orbiting the planet before Biskaran Pirates, that patrolled the area, cut off Arcona's main forces. The recon forces had to survive on the platform until the main forces could arrive. In the end, the main forces arrived just in time to rescue the recon forces and capture the planet.

Operation: Grand Theft Awesome (37 ABY)

After almost losing Kalsunor, the leaders of Soulfire decided to run a training exercise that would of disrupted the production of a new ship called "The Fusilade." This operation lasted three weeks.

Zoist (37 ABY)

The battle for Zoist was brief and provided most a time to reflect on the past battles in the Dark Crusade.

Operation: Sojourn (37 ABY)

The beloved Cythrauls of Arcona fell ill to a mysterious illness, whose cure was located in the Hapes Cluster. The Operation lead most of the clan deep into the cluster to find a plant identified by Maaks as "Blood Cups."

Fading Light (37 ABY)

Multiple teams were sent to Bosthirda by the Dark Counsul to retrive an artifact known as the "Revelation, The blade of Ferran." They were suppose to do a quick entry into Xlopora City, and find the blade. Riverche's team, however, failed to locate the blade before they had to evacuate the planet.

Physical Description

Riverche sports an average frame and comes off as rather unasuming. She has long, redish-brown hair that naturally layers in straight, featherlike streams that reach her shoulderblades. Unlike other Miraluka, she had her ceremonial eyecover cyberneticaly melded into her skin like a set of sunglasses. The bridge of her nose sports a metalic bar that helps keep the eyecover in place, and gives her a unique yet still attractive look when combined with a set of soft, full lips.

Personality

Riverche is a shy individual, who likes to try new things and is always willing to help where needed. She will always let you know what is on her mind, either through actions or words.
