The Orian system was a 7-planet system located on the outskirts of Sith Space in the Outer Rim. It contained two stars, Orian Major and Orian Minor, the later being a yellow dwarf star that orbitted the former, a red giant, between the Dentavii asteroid belt and Tarthos causing severe climate distortions throughout the system. Despite the harmonious union between the twins the passage of day and night on many of the planets inside Orian is still considered deeply irritable and erratic by most sentient life forms.

The system was once home to the Sith Lord Urias Orian but was abandoned following the Great Hyperspace War. During the years following the Galactic Empire the Dlarit Corporation became the public authority but it was secretly controlled by Clan Naga Sadow. The system was policed by the Orian Security Force as a branch of the Dlarit Corporation, it consisted of the Orian Army and the Orian Navy. The Orian Army handled most of the day-to-day policing inside the colonies.

The Orian system is unique in numerous ways. It was first discovered by Sith Lord Urias Orian millennia ago by means of a direct hyperspace pipeline between Orian and the region of space ruled by the Sith Empire.

Orian is a gateway to the ancient land: the Sith Empire. It mimics it’s motherland in almost every respect; from culture to architecture. It remained a secret from the Dark Lords, ruled in secret by the Sith Lord Urias Orian. It is rumoured the renegade warlord Okemi used Orian as passage between the ancient empire and his renegade brotherhood on Antei.
