The ''Van Slice Team'' as they called himself, who took it upon themselves to practice and learn slicing as an extracurricular. Two years into his membership on the team, Evant had become a formidable slicer himself, gaining access to information on the greater activities of the galaxy. With the death of Emperor Palpatine at an age of only 4 years old, Evant grew up without knowing the true influence of the Empire, as constant news passed to his family through the New Republic of their triumphs against the Empire and the retaking of Coruscant. With his slicing efforts, he began to gain access to a vast wealth of knowledge about the powerful Galactic Empire of the past. It was his fascination with this information, that led him to abandon his future studies at the local academy and go in search of more information.

After making a few connections with the Commander of a Squadron within the Emperor's Hammer Navy, Evant decided to take one last job on Etti IV and head off to the Imperial Weapons and Tactics School. He and six members of his team sliced access to a docking bay at Cybot Galactica, stole an unarmed transport freighter designed to move personnel between offices and left Etti IV. | Upon immediate arrival at Platform ''Daedalus'', where the Empire trained it's pilots, he began his service to the Empire. During his initial placement testing however, Evant showed incredible skills in slicing and information gathering, and was sent to the Frigate ''Stormwind'' to train in the Intelligence Division. Due to his skills and a high demand for officers, Evant found himself quickly elevated the Bureau Director of the Analysis Division. His work there was well received, and he was awarded his own personal and highly modified Lambda-class T-4a shuttle ''Redemption''. Following the failure of a member of the Ubiqtorate, Evant found himself elevated to Rear Admiral in the position of Bureau Liaison Director and head of all four branches of intelligences daily activities. Shortly before his own succession to Executive Director, a flaw in his own logic, resulted in a leak of all active intelligence agents currently members of the New Republic. This failure nearly got him executed by the Grand Admiral of the fleet, and as such Evant was forced to flee and head into seclusion on Tatooine for several years.

| While on Tatooine, the Commander of Ranger Squadron onboard the ISD ''Immortal'' within the Emperor's Hammer learned of his existance there. Putting his own reputation on the line, Commander pulled strings to get Evant into his squadron. Two days later Evant found himself back onboard Platform ''Daedalus''. While struggling with his own reputation as a supporter of the Empire, Evant found his chance upon Gidda's resignation to other duties and took command of Ranger Squadron. Once Imperial Intelligence heard of this promotion however, they quickly demoted him to Lieutenant once again. Contented at simply being allowed to fly and not be in hiding however, Evant gladly obliged.

| Several months later however, Evant was approached by the Wing Commander of Wing V on board the SSSD ''Sovereign'', to once again try his hand at commanding a squadron and make use of his skills. Following proper approval paths this time, Evant found himself the Commander of Sadhe Squadron. After an extremely successful tenure as commander there, his loyalty to his prior ship, the ISD Immortal, drew him back home as a pilot in Vampire Squadron. Several successful months there and an opening came to allow him to command a squadron on his home ship. He took the reigns as the Commander of Phantom Squadron, the elite squadron onboard the ISD Immortal, and arguably one of the last few great squadrons in the entire Battlegroups. He led his squadron through an amazing victory through Exercise Cantina Run V.

With his own agenda outgrowing that of his superior officers, feelings of discontent and betrayal lingered on the edges of his mind. Deep concentration and focus filled most of his last days onboard the ISD Immortal, as he mentally began to separate himself from his pilots. One morning during the year of 19 ABY, Evant simply boarded his Shuttle ''Redemption'' and left the service of the Imperial Navy.

Also, as it was newly under control of the New Republic, information on the holonet there could prove incredibly valuable to him. For eight years, Evant learned all he could about the galaxy from his one bedroom abode on the overcrowded planet. He watched events of the galaxy unfold before his eyes through his link into the holonet there. He maintained his piloting skills through a combat training simulator he acquired with what funds he had left from his tenure with the Imperial Navy. He also spent this time learning all he could about the new threat facing the galaxy, the Yuuzhan Vong.

| Upon the Yuuzhan Vong conquering Coruscant, the planet with which he was living, his hatred grew even more. One morning during the year of 27 ABY, Evant woke up, felt his heart beating so strongly it felt as though it would burst from his chest. A Yuuzhan Vong had entered his small apartment, and was attempting to steal the medals he had earned as an Imperial Officer. A rage flowed through him he had never felt. Without thinking, and only feeling his emotions, he tore the invading man apart with his bare hands. The sheer surprise of the attack, and the amount of adrenaline left no hope for the invader.

| Afterwards, covered completely in blood, Evant fell to his knees. On the ground sitting in front of him was his Gold Star of the Empire, earned some 9 years ago. He grabbed it in his hands and closed his eyes, attempting to channel this overwhelming energy he had just experienced. It was like a door had opened in his mind, and he could see the heartbeat of the galaxy. He had heard people discussing the powers of the Sith but he never understood them until this moment.

After a successful start to life as a career grav ball player and attaining his degree, he was recruited into the Dark Jedi Brotherhood by Xen'mordin Vismorsus who would take on the role of his Master at the age of 22. Now with the tools at his disposal to unlock his true potential, and the Dark Side as a true ally, he quickly began to see success in his career in both his Clan and the Dark Council.
He is currently serving as the Deputy Grand Master on the Dark Council as the right hand of the Grand Master.
