Battleteams
Night Raptors -- Basic Training
All members begin their tour in the Night Raptors. The single goal of this Battleteam is to push members to the rank of Protector, a task an active person can achieve in less than two weeks. This Battleteam does not run competitions. The Battleteam Leader, along with their designated Flight Leaders, the Rollmaster and the Aedile, share the burden of pushing these members to Protector. Success rate is approximately 20%. This is to be expected and the Battleteam Leader must understand that he won't get “every one”.
The afore-mentioned leaders are to adhere to the following schedule when contacting their charges. Bare in mind that this is the minimum requirement. Additional contact is allowed and encouraged.

The Battleteam Leader and the Aedile possess full authority to promote within the Night Raptors and need no additional oversight from the House or Clan.
Upon promotion to Protector, members are transitioned to the Night Falcons. To allow for the possible lack of open positions, Protectors will sometimes remain in Night Raptors until space is available.
Night Falcons -- Advanced Training
Members who reach the Night Falcons have demonstrated the basic activity level that will sustain them throughout their time in the Brotherhood. Here they transition to a new Battleteam Leader who begins to acclimate them to the House and Clan. The Battleteam Leader, along with the Quaestor and designated Flight Leaders, has the burden of developing these members into full-fledged Disciples of Ragnos. Within the Night Falcons they are first introduced to Battleteam Competitions. The overall focus remains to help these members attain the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. The leaders work hand-in-hand to develop their charges, ensuring they are staying on task.

Night Hawks -- Elite
The Night Hawks are a more traditional Battleteam, with one exception. The Battleteam Leader is granted the authority to invite and dismiss members, and members cannot join without said-invitation. The Battleteam Leader can recruit from the Night Falcons, as well as the membership at large. The burden on the Battleteam Leader is to develop a highly active, cohesive unit capable of representating House Marka Ragnos in external competitions. Members in this Battleteam generally experience accelerated promotions and awards in exchange for their high levels of activity and responsibility.
Miscellany
- The Rollmaster will greet each member as they join the House.
- The Quaestor or Aedile shall assign all new members to the Night Raptors as they arrive on the roster. At this time, the Quaestor or Aedile shall send the new member their initial Orders.
- The Battleteam Leader and Flight Leaders will work out a schedule for e-mailing members to ensure the above process is followed. The Quaestor, Aedile and Rollmaster shall be Carbon Copied on every e-mail that is sent within the context of the Training Program. The Rollmaster will monitor to ensure compliance, as well as assist in the process as needed. This communication process must be routine to ensure each member at every rank is e-mailed at the appropriate time.
- The Quaestor will transfer members from the Night Raptors to the Night Falcons as needed when they reach Guardian, and certain Protectors if necessary to make room for incoming Apprentices.
