Title

From Wikipedia of the Dark Brotherhood, an online Star Wars Club

Titles are special names given to members of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.

Dossier Titles

Sith Lord

Darth and Lord are reserved for the Grand Master and his predecessors, though can be appointed by the Grand Master to any worthy member.

War Heroes

For excellence in the field of battle, members can be given special titles for placing in the top three in a major vendetta. First Hero, Second Hero, and Third Hero are the titles awarded, each for their respective vendetta.

For example: First Hero of the Dark Crusade.

Clan Titles

Clan titles, sometimes called Clan Names, are given to members that have shown the most loyalty, dedication or activity in their clan. Clan titles should not be confused with Family names. Those who bear Clan titles are not considered part of a family.

Below is a list of titles and the Clan they belong to.

Honorary Titles

Dark Lord

Dark Lord of the Sith is reserved for the Grand Master. Honorifics are forms of address granted to members for achieving various positions within the Dark Brotherhood.

Honorifics

  • His Majesty is afforded to the Grand Master.
  • His Highness is afforded to Sith Lords.
  • Immortal is afforded to members of the Hall of Immortals. It is attached to a member's existing honorific, e.g. His Immortal Highness or His Immortal Excellency.
  • His Eminence is afforded to the Deputy Grand Master.
  • His Excellency is afforded to members of the Dark Council.
  • His Honor is afforded to members of the Dark Summit.

With the exception of Majesty honorifics, titles are retained for life; retired Dark Council members are still addressed as Excellency, for example. The Grand Master may also afford special honorifics to individual members, examples include His Royal Highness Lord Khyron and His Grace Lord Paladin, as Duke of V'Armonde.
