Dlarit Navy Task Force Gamma: Difference between revisions

Task Force Gamma is the designation of the group of ships presently being constructed for the Dlarit Navy by means of a shell corporation in the Corporate Sector. The estimated time of completion for the new fleet is estimated as some in in 28 ABY although some ships may begin arriving ahead of schedule.

Behind the Scenes

Task Force Gamma is the new fleet of ships which will form the Dlarit Navy following the outcome of the Eighth Great Jedi War. Despite the ships being awarded in September 2007 for fictional realism reasons the new fleet is not scheduled to be obtained by the Dlarit Corporation until sometime in 28 ABY following the Orian: Invasion competition.
The Dlarit Special Operations Group is a new division of the Dlarit Corporation which will be created during the course of the Orian: Invasion competition. Unlike the Dlarit Securiy Force, D-SOG will be more of a marine based "air, sea and land" group, hence the use of a single rank system irrespective of position (i.e. Generals commanding ships rather than Admirals).
