‘’’Hyperdyne Systems Interstellar’’’ is the foremost economic power in the Aliso system and acts as the covert financial front of Clan Plagueis. Headquartered on starwars:Cadinth, the conglomerate is under direct control by the Ascendant Clan and operates largely in tandem with the goals and directives of the Houses. Hyperdyne has a hand in most financial operations in the Clan’s domain and its subsidiaries act as the driving financial force of almost every aspect of industry in the Aliso system. The conglomerate is also instrumental in Aliso’s addition to and engagement in the Confederacy of the Outer Reaches, acting as the primary force of trade in the domain’s interactions within the Confederacy.

History

Hyperdyne Systems Interstellar was originally founded as Hyperdyne Manufacturing some time before 32 ABY. At the time of Clan Plagueis’ discovery of and takeover of the company, Hyperdyne was a licensed producer for Sienar Technologies, making hyperdrives and starship engines. The Ascendant Clan decided that the manufacturing company would make a good asset for their nomadic spacefaring status and rebuild their economic portfolio after their loss of the Jusadih system, infiltrating the company and ultimately subjugating the leadership of Hyperdyne Manufacturing in secret.

When Clan Plagueis rediscovered and settled the Aliso system in 34 ABY, Hyperdyne Manufacturing began its initial reorganization into a conglomerate by funding several projects involved in the construction of Aliso City. Thus began the process of Hyperdyne changing from an asset into the financial cover and front for the Ascendant Clan’s financial endeavors. In the following 5 years since Aliso City was founded, the company had largely been taking a loss on most of the settlement projects while building out a domain for the Clan to rule. It wasn’t until 39 ABY, when starwars:coaxium was discovered on Cogrion’s moon of Cilix, that Hyperdyne began to take on business ventures that actually turned a profit in the Aliso system. With a substantial profit earned through this mining venture and with much of the Aliso City construction projects completed, Hyperdyne was able to rebrand as the conglomerate Hyperdyne Systems Interstellar and begin taking on ventures for profit rather than to build up the Ascendant Clan. As the company continued to expand and build upon their existing operations, the Clan directed its efforts toward the surrounding systems, laying the groundwork for Clan Plagueis to found the Confederacy of the Outer Reaches in 41 ABY, where Hyperdyne is operating as an economic power to this day.

Organization

Hypedyne Systems Interstellar is a conglomerate and megacorporation that operates as the financial and economic front for Clan Plagueis, though this relationship is effectively invisible to the public. Through Hypedyne, the Clan covertly maintains deeply entrenched contracts and logistical ties with all member worlds of the Confederacy of the Outer Reaches. Though the company's presence on member worlds is often unseen or appearingly benevolent, Hyperdyne's economic prestige in the Plagueian sphere of influence is substantial.

Publicly led by a loyal and capable Board of Trustees, Hyperdyne operates under direct control of the Ascendant Clan, utilizing its many subsidiary companies to accomplish any and all Plagueian goals that require financial and economic power. A part of this apparatus of control appears in the way that the intelligence organization of Clan Plagueis maintains handlers and agents in every major subsidiary of the megacorporation. These agents are often used to covertly gather intelligence while officially conducting routine business matters.

An example of Hypedyne's efforts for Clan Plagueis is shown in their cooperative endeavors with House Ventress, aiding with the unit's secretive machinations as well as economic and political manipulation campaigns. For instance, the House's headquarters on Cilix is kept secret by Hyperdyne’s coaxium mining. All public-facing civilian operations are performed by middlemen, subcontractors, and employees of Hyperdyne, actively adding insulation from scrutiny through any and all means needed to obscure the location's ulterior purpose.

Structure

Hyperdyne Systems Interstellar operates as a conglomerate with many subsidiaries, building upon whatever industries Clan Plagueis requires. Many of the corporations under the Hyperdyne banner have multiple divisions by which they accomplish any and all economic functions for the Ascendant Clan. While not a complete listing of the full scope of Hyperdyne’s subsidiaries, the following represent the most prominent companies owned and operated by the financial power.

Hyperdyne Industries

Hyperdyne Industries is a highly diverse company that focuses on a wide array of industrial applications that constitute the backbone of industry in the Aliso system. They have prominent divisions performing construction and maintenance in several aspects of industrial technology including, but not limited to: tactical systems, communications, and manufacturing.

Hyperdyne Mining

Hyperdyne Mining is the corporate arm of the parent company that handles mining operations in the Aliso system and across the Confederacy of the Outer Reaches. In order to facilitate these mining operations across such a wide array of locales and sites, Hyperdyne Mining employs an in-house surveying division.

Hyperdyne Energy

Hyperdyne Energy handles energy production, most prominently in terms of coaxium production in the Aliso system, but also in other areas of the galaxy. In addition to producing energy, they have the Power Systems division, among others, that focuses on building out mechanisms for energy supply lines. While their presence on Cilix is one of their most prolific stations in the area, resulting in extensive integration with House Ventress administration at that site, the company also performs energy production throughout the Confederacy of the Outer Reaches and the galaxy at large.

Hyperdyne Laboratories

Hyperdyne Laboratories is a powerful subsidiary for the parent company, working with biotechnical applications of advanced innovations. Designing and building the most cutting-edge technologies for the Ascendant Clan is an integral part of their mission at Hyperdyne Laboratories and has advanced Hyperdyne’s position as an innovative powerhouse in the galaxy. Their primary divisions include, but are not limited to: cybernetics, biological research, and technological innovation.

Hyperdyne Logistics

Hyperdyne Logistics operates as the facilitator of the flow of goods and services for the Hyperdyne conglomerate and the galaxy at large. Maintaining these logistical solutions for the business mainly falls upon the Freight and Transportation divisions of the company. Though these divisions make up the bulk of their business, they are not the only mechanisms by which Hyperdyne Logistics manages their industry.

Hyperdyne Technical Institute

Hyperdyne Technical Institute is a corporately owned and operated training facility for Hyperdyne Systems Interstellar. Its curriculum covers a wide array of occupations and industries in order to act as an in-house, dedicated method for teaching the conglomerate’s workforce how to perform within their roles and jobs while also maintaining a level of brand loyalty in the employees. Their most prominent campus in the area is located in Aliso City, as per their requirements for recent ventures in the Confederacy of the Outer Reaches.
