A New Dawn: Exsanguination ran in 36 ABY for House Marka Ragnos. It is the beginning of a story arc that hopes to take House Marka Ragnos through a transition to become the strongest House in Clan Naga Sadow.

Prelude

House Marka Ragnos becomes embroiled in an eternal purge of its traitors and disloyal elements on Tarthos. In order for the House to be cleansed Kojiro Keibatsu has given the order for a newly formed Judicial Force, Talon Company, to take to the streets and hunt down dissidents, traitors and any remains of the Lotus. Ragnosian forces are to support and assist the Talon Company wherever possible.

Course of Events

"I want to see Marka Ragnos rise above its previous desolation and become a stronghold for future generations. If blood has to be spilt then so be it. If I am a traitor, then let it be said I was never a traitor to my House."

After the appointment of Syntari and Kodais as Judges of the Talon Company, their first order was to exterminate the crowd gathered before the Tarthos Cathedral. They had been accused of freeing Undesirables around the city and arming them. For this, the traitors were dealt with accordingly and wiped out. This was later called the Massacre of Dissidents and ushered in a new dark age for the citizens of Tarthos.

As the operation went on the city of Tarthos became locked down. Warhost, Talon Company and Ragnosian forces scoured the streets in search of anyone, or anything, that was on the list to be exterminated. Tarthos itself was on fire, the streets burning, smoke crawling up to the sky above it, signaling the horrific events happening in Sadowan territory.

Consul Sanguinius rushed to Tarthos to put an end to the tyrant ways of his subordinate Quaestor. However, as Sanguinuis reached the Cathedral and demanded the Quaestor to back down, Kojiro refused and openly defied the Consul in the eyes of his fellow Ragnosians. Proclaiming House Marka Ragnos would no longer tolerate the weakness of the Light, he would usher in a dark age to rid everyone he perceived to be a threat to the growth of the House. Branded a traitor by the Consul, Kojiro never flinched and retorted that he was loyal to the Iron Throne and the Brotherhood.

As Sanguinius and Bentre left the Cathedral, their final words towards the Quaestor were akin to a declaration of war. Kojiro had divided the Clan and its members for the last time.
