| Shortly after their declaration, a powerful a Jedi Master named Visson, who had been in search of Kartena since her own fall from the Jedi Order to join the [[Krath]] was thrown into a jealous rage. He had coveted the Archpriest as his own and immediately set out to destroy Evant along with several Jedi under his command. He searched for many months with no luck, as Evant's position on the Ubiqtorate of the Imperial Intelligence Division kept him well hidden. Kartena placed a trap on planet of the Outer Rim in an attempt to destroy him, and protect her relationship. Visson followed the first lead he had in months eagerly.

Visson felt an immediate immense loss watching her life slip away, his passion causing the Jedi Master to fall to the Dark Side, destroying the remaining Krath and all of his former Jedi followers in his rage. He then set off to find Evant, blaming him for everything that happened.

| Using his place on the Ubiqtorate, Evant lured the Dark Jedi Master onboard the Lictor-class dungeon ship ''Lictor V'', used by the Intelligence Division to imprison Jedi Knights. The fallen Jedi Master was in such a rage, he had no realization of the venue in which he now placed his battle. Evant lured Visson on a chase throughout the ship, eventually trapping him in a cell. All records of what happened in that cell and the former Jedi Master are wiped from Imperial records.

Two days later Evant found himself back onboard Platform ''Daedalus''. While the commander pulled many strings to get Evant onboard the Immortal as a pilot, he saw his skills as useful and took sympathy in hearing of his past. The Emperor's Hammer put massive restrictions upon Evant's career but allowed him to fly.

He led his squadron to some amazing success and victories.

Despite his growing command of the Force and talents in battle, he would oversee the entire engagement from aboard the Imperial II-Class Star Destroyer Warspite in orbit above the planet helping to blockade the planet while forces carried out operations in the field. The engagement was considered a success and further gained Evant influence and power in the Clan. |

With his own agenda outgrowing that of his superior officers, feelings of discontent and betrayal lingered on the edges of his mind. Deep concentration and focus filled most of his last days onboard the ISD Immortal, as he mentally began to separate himself from his pilots. One morning during the year of 19 ABY, Evant simply boarded a shuttle and left the service of the Imperial Navy.

| | [[Judecca]]: During the entirety of the Looking Home Campaign, Imperial Scholae Intelligence found ties back to Fias Zhan and the Scions of Cocytus, a group that sought to overtake Clan control and run the system. This culminated i na direct assault on the main palace in Ohmen, Judecca. Originally in command of the fleet as it blockaded the planet, he would take his talents and skills to the surface of Judecca to retake the palace where he found himself infected with a fear toxin. This pushed him to a state of insanity and clouded with visions his command of the Force could not contain. Yet with the Force as his ally, he would wish himself towards the palace before finally receiving an anti-toxin ahead of the final assault. Evant himself would lead the assault before finally he would personally take off Kelac Lasha one of the lead Lieutenant's heads and helping achieve victory. |

Knowing that the planet had once been ruled by the Krath Order, Evant had hoped to gain great knowledge there. Having recently finishing his own trials and taking over House Tridens, [[Raiju]] took over as his designated master for the final reviews of the trials. Shortly after this Evant was elevated to the rank of [[Dark Jedi Knight]]. As part of his trials, he went through initiation into the Necromantic arts of Clan Tarentum and joined the sect of the [[Watchers]]. | Evant Taelyan is a human male from the planet of Etti IV. He is short for a human at only 1.75 meters (5 foot 7 inches) and is much smaller as well weighing only 56.7 kilograms (125 pounds) making him under normal weight as well. Few would recognize his small stature however under his hooded robes, however when removed he wears his armor tight and close to his body size for comfort. He wears around his neck but tucked tightly to his body, a deep red charm on a brilliant silver chain in memory of his lost master. His face looks very young, hardly touched by the years of combat he had seen, but it all set in his dark blue eyes that looked almost black in all but the bright daylight. He wore his dirty blonde hair an inch or two long and mussed with little regard for it.

| Evant Taelyan is incredibly intelligent, thinking and learning as a level much higher than most of his peers. He often sees more than most other people will see, and looks ahead of a current situation he is in to start identifying possibilities and seek the best outcome. However, because of this he often ends up looking down on most others he meets due to their own lack of intelligence and has no patience for their ignorance. He can quickly become frustrated at others who can't keep up and move forward on his own.

| Due to his intuition around people, and high intelligence, he is very good at manipulating relationships and maximizing them to his benefit. Combined with his skills gained during his time in the Intelligence Division, this has become incredibly beneficial as a way to gather information on people, and with that information gain power. He finds immense happiness in having controlling power over other people and does so at any opportunity.

Ptolomea Deposition: Facing the first real challenge as leader of Caliburnus, Evant had to deal with a rogue dictator on Ptolomea who had established a hold while the Clan was away on the Dark Crusades. Yet Evant lead the effort to bring a full scale campaign to remove the rogue government and replace it with one that was loyal to Scholae Palatinae and its Emperor. Following the effort, Evant had gained the trust of his team and the leadership of the Clan as a reliable leader, and Caliburnus was well established in their new home on Ptolomea.
Antenora Rebellion: Unrest on Antenora once again pulled the Clan into full scale engagement. As rebellion erupted and the local people fought back against their leaders of the Empire. As the current Aedile and Supreme Commander Xantros moved on during these engagements to focus on Krath research relating to the local leaders on the planet with his expertise, Evant was elevated to the role by the Quaestor of the Clan as a natural fit as apprentice to the Emperor. This saw Evant relinquish command of Caliburnus and move to Judecca to the Imperial Palace.
Cainian Strikes: With unrest growing on Caina, as outside forces sought to destabilize Clan control of the system, Xen'mordin and Evant stepped in with a campaign of control and Imperialization. Despite his growing command of the Force and talents in battle, he would oversee the entire engagement from aboard the Imperial II-Class Star Destroyer Warspite in orbit above the planet helping to blockade the planet while forces carried out operations in the field. The engagement was considered a success and further gained Evant influence and power in the Clan.
Judecca: During the entirety of the Looking Home Campaign, Imperial Scholae Intelligence found ties back to Fias Zhan and the Scions of Cocytus, a group that sought to overtake Clan control and run the system. This culminated i na direct assault on the main palace in Ohmen, Judecca. Originally in command of the fleet as it blockaded the planet, he would take his talents and skills to the surface of Judecca to retake the palace where he found himself infected with a fear toxin. This pushed him to a state of insanity and clouded with visions his command of the Force could not contain. Yet with the Force as his ally, he would wish himself towards the palace before finally receiving an anti-toxin ahead of the final assault. Evant himself would lead the assault before finally he would personally take off Kelac Lasha one of the lead Lieutenant's heads and helping achieve victory.
Reclanning & New Houses
Following their achievement of full control, and safety and security of the Empire, Xen and Evant would see the Clan to the next level through a period of restructuring. Now as the Proconsul and powerful Dark Jedi with experience, the two would see Clan Scholae Palatinae renamed, with new Clan title holders and Houses. House Imperium and House Excidium were created to protect the new Clan, and push Imperial propaganda in the system to secure control for the Empire.
