The Fifth Great Jedi War or the War of the Star Chamber occured after the Dark Brotherhood unearthed the entrance to the original Star Chamber. The Sith Lord Okemi was reawakened after millenia of slumber and used his powers to take control of the Oracle Trevarus Caerick, the Justicar Keirdagh Cantor and the Deputy Grand Master Jac Cotelin.
Okemi spread his corruption in an attempt to consume the brotherhood in civil war and finally get revenge against the Dark Lords of the Sith. After getting word of the conflict, Firefox returned and slew the ancient Lord of the Star Chamber, ending his influence forever.
History
Unbeknownst to the council at the time, the war throughout the Shroud had awoken Okemi, an ancient Sith Lord who had been exiled from the Sith Empire millennia before. Indeed it was Okemi who had first formed the Star Chamber and founded the Sith civilisation on Antei, becoming the first Lord of the Star Chamber. Under the cover of the recent war, Okemi had secretly corrupted several members of the brotherhood leadership, including Jac Cotelin who was at the time filling in for the Grand Master while he was away on business in the Imperial Remnant.
The next six months saw Okemi's influence spread throughout the brotherhood. Like a parasite Okemi exerted his Force-control over anybody his mind came into contact with, dominating them like puppets to further spread his influence. Jac Cotelin and the Dark Jedi Master Kem-Shu Maeda served as his primary hosts corrupting whole swathes of the brotherhood.
Eventually the Sith High Warrior, Xanos, managed to get off Antei, having been stuck there since Jac Cotelin ordered the system's closure and got word to Firefox. Upon his return to brotherhood space the Dark Lord assembled a force from the remaining loyalists, those who had not yet lost their minds to Okemi's control and launched an assault on Antei. Firefox squared off with Jac Cotelin, eventually chasing him off. As the Grand Master battled outside the ruins of the ancient Star Chamber the high warrior took up arms against Kem-Shu Maeda. However, the high warrior was bested and the rogue Dark Jedi Master escaped.
Finally, the Firefox made his way to Okemi's hidden chamber and put an end to the ancient Sith Lord once and for all, restoring the free will of the corrupted and order to the brotherhood and bringing an end to the curse that had hung over Antei since the Obscuration. The original Star Chamber was finally dead.

- The original idea for a "force infection" came from Keirdagh Taldrya Cantor. He and Jac Cotelin were originally planning to use the idea in a Taldryan-run Vendetta (or Talydetta) during Chi-Long's reign. Jac later proposed the idea to a welcoming Trevarus Caerick
- Jac really pissed off Trevarus by making him write into the GJW fiction a ceremony depicting the promotion of Trev's arch-nemesis, Kaiann, to Dark Jedi Master.
