Below Zero was an operation undergone by Clan Naga Sadow regarding the assault on the frozen continent of Terra Do Gelo at the behest of the Consul in 35 ABY.
- "So that’s the last team gone quiet...I just am not a fan of leading men in blind but it appears we really have no other choice."
- ― Sanguinius, briefing the three CNS team leaders before deployment.
Prelude
Clan Naga Sadow looks towards Terra Do Gelo on Tarthos in the hopes of capturing it to further develop their power and consolidate their assets should Darth Pravus intend to strike at the Sadowan forces.
Course of Events
A team of Warhost recon soldiers recovers a lost droid and find footage of it having been in some sort of underground bunker. They set out to find the bunker and succeed within days. As they descend through the crevice it was hidden in, they quickly find themselves assualted by an unknown assailant. The team is wiped out and nothing is heard from them again.
The Sadowan forces are able to view the feed, despite it being corrupted by heavy interference, and come to the decision to lead a team of Dark Jedi into the bunker. The main objective to wipe out the forces keeping them back and securing the bunker and other key locations that have lost teams. Having lost two teams already, Consul Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar feels responsible for their deaths as he had agreed to send them in without proper intel.
The teams made their way through the bunkers together with Warhost and Nihilgenia troops. Side by side they fought and pushed the enemy back one bloody inch at a time. For every room taken they lost more soldiers then they cared to admit. The cost was heavy but eventually resounded in a Sadowan victory. The dead were quickly turned to frozen corpses, which made excavation of the bodies difficult as they were transported back home for proper burial.
It was during the excavation of the bodies that they came across the gruesome corpse of a fearsome wampa. Upon further examination it looked as if the beast had been altered, by forms of alchemy unknown to the Sadowans. As they ventured further into the bunker they came across a set of large blast doors, one of the doors had been damaged and lay scattered across the floor, allowing them access to the room behind it. What they found was some sort of factory that could produce large amounts of materials needed to give Clan Naga Sadow an edge in their upcoming battles. Schematics to upgrade armor, weapons and even plans to alter war machines and ships to work better, these would in turn keep the Warhost soldiers alive longer to keep on fighting when otherwise they would have been defeated.
