The Platform
The Omicron Platform was situated on the fringe of the Jusadih System, the system formerly held by Clan Plagueis. It served as many things, but is primarily a neutral meeting place for Clan Plagueis, the Dark Council and other political entities. Here they can conduct business at a safe distance from the homeworlds of Plagueis.
The station also served as a traffic control center for the system and command post. Warning could be sent to Kapsina should an unfriendly vessel approach the system. It had limited research facilities on board toconduct studies of the system's spatial phenomenon and celestial wonders.
The Omicron Platform was used as a defensive faciliy to protect Kapsina during the War of Ascension; it was part of the blockade surrounding the rebelling planet. The Omicron Platform was, covertly, used to send an energy burst that was significantly small enough to be counted as a sensor glitch by the Quaestor of Exar Kun. Though the exact purpose of the energy burst is not recorded, it can be assumed it was either a signal or a message. The one recorded time in which the Omicron Platform was used for its official purpose was during negotiations between Plagueis and Scholae Palatinae in 22 ABY.
The Omicron platform was used to stage a trap for the force-devoid enemy aliens, which was connected to the negotiations between Plagueis and Scholae Palatinae. The aliens had an inside line into the Jusadih system through Captain Maddik. Executing him, those at attendance laid a trap. When the enemy arrived to take the diplomatic ship carrying the [[Consul|Consuls of Plagueis and Scholae Palatinae, they instead found the fleets of both clans awaiting them. The enemy ships were destroyed which, combined, with the execution of Maddik, severed the alien's line into the Jusadih system.
Omicron Platform was the first Plagueis casualty during the Horizons crisis. The enemy battlegroup attacking the Jusadih system exited hyperspace initially near the platform, and volleys from the enemy Star Destroyers destroyed the platform within minutes of the start of the engagement.
