| == Early Life ==
| |
|
| |
|
| Incendus was born Rexion Krayt to a veteran of the clone wars and a maid. His father was not a clone trooper, but a mercenary hired to join the 501st. He saw the Empire as evil and decided not to fight for them. The mother was easily stressed, and Rex asked a lot of questions, so he was with his father most of the time. Nevertheless, he loved both parents, and they loved him. They had a religion from a galaxy far far away where they were required to gather every Sunday.
| |
|
| |
|
| His life only went down when his father was accused of making spices. His father had a large record of public drunk charges, so they didn't put it past him. His dad was not allowed to see him because his mother and grandmother think that he was cooking spices. Then, his mother started drinking, and that's where Rex started down the path to the Dark Side. It was complete one morning when he got in a fight at school. A bully had been picking on him, and anger had flared inside of him. Mysteriously, sparks had flown out of his hand and electrocuted the bully near to death.

| | Saal Kesyk is a Sith Warrior, currently allied with Clan Plagueis. He is responsible for the creation of Black Flag, a criminal network of pirates, smugglers and spies which he employs the use of to attain his social and political goals. Ruthless in his pursuit of power, he is a cunning and skilled warrior and diplomat, hoping to use his skills and prowess to gain further power for himself and realize the end goal of his ____ doctrine. |

| After this, Rex's family tried to defend him because they believed in his story. Unfortunately, the Jedi and the court both found him dangerous, and Rex was forced to 30 days in the Juvenile Department of Coruscant as well as 30 days at the mental counseling center.
| | In 27 ABY, Saal graduated from the Shadow Academy at the age of 15. He was selected to apprentice under Kamalis Creed, a Zabrak whose lineage traced back to Darth Kraygus, who was a Sith Lord and Wrath of an ancient Emperor. A cunning tactician and ruthless master, Creed would lay the political foundations of and set the stage for Kesyk’s rise to status and power within the Brotherhood. Under his tutelage, Saal Kesyk was trained to be a marauder and a ferocious force on the battlefield. Excelling in the dominant forms of Djem So and Juyo and possessing a natural aptitude for conjuring Sith Lightning, the young Sith quickly became outfitted as a weapon of warfare. |
| | |
| After the 30 days were up, Rex decided to get revenge. He joined a gang, and eventually did enough jobs to get recognized by a crime syndicate. After Rex had became the boss of the small-time gang, he joined the syndicate and combined his gang with them. Rex's parents were actually impressed, because their ancestors had formed an organized crime family a long time ago after migrating from Corellia. Rex had different plans though. The crime family had mistreated him, so he secretly recruited his own small group of men to wipe out the syndicate. His gang was in on it too. Eventually, the time came. Rex and his men had completely wiped out a syndicate by planning a strategy after gathering a lot of information. Incendus was then given a wakizashi by his father, whose house he would sneak to every now and then. His father had taught him in the ancient shinobi arts. Incendus used it to get revenge on the senator who put him in jail.
| |
| | |
| These actions got him attention from a recruiter from the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. On his twentieth birthday, he was encountered by an older man who offered him and his family a place to live on the planet Selen if he would come to an academy to learn how to defend himself and his family, and to achieve power. Rex was reluctant at first, but thought about it. He finally agreed. His father's family was given a place to live right across from his mother's family (which angered the families a little bit).
| |
| | |
| When he came to the academy, he was put into Clan Arcona and House Qel-Droma. When he was promoted to Acolyte, he was assigned to a master named Andrelious J. Inahj.
| |
| | |
| == A New Name ==
| |
| | |
| After long, extensive genealogical research in the libraries, Rex learned that he had a pure-blooded Sith ancestor named Incendus. Unfortunately, Incendus was a disgrace to the Sith Empire after losing every single one of his soldiers to a single jedi during the Sacking of Coruscant. Rexion decided that he would be called Incendus in the Brotherhood until he reached Dark Jedi Knight, so that he would strive for more than one purpose.
| |
| | |
| == The Black Flame ==
| |
| | |
| After Arconan members started founding empires, Incendus started one called the Black Flame. He then started a clan/alliance called the Mugen Clan. His goal is to dominate each and every planet and to become the most powerful being in the galaxy.

| == Shadow Gate Mission 1: The Ancient Sith Artifact on Korriban ==
| |
| | |
| Incendus' first mission after SG Training was a dispatch to Korriban to retrieve a stolen Sith Artifact. The person who stole it was unknown, but Incendus' master, Andrel, who was not even a member of Shadow Gate anymore, had ironically sensed that the culprit was on their way to Korriban. Incendus had asked Zakath if he could take this mission. This was an emergency, so Incendus was sent immediately after the artifacts were discovered stolen, and was given an extra armory saber for the occasion. On the way there, Incendus put the ship on auto-pilot so he could tamper with his sabers, a hobby he had picked up since learning Banlanth. He replaced the blue crystals with some stronger red crystals, to better prepare himself.
| |
| | |
| "The sad thing is that I only know Banlath," he said to himself, laughing under his breath. "And I'm still quite inexperienced with that style too. The only reason I really picked this mission was to test my skills to see if I have gotten any better." He finished closing the sabers and set them to his side. "I have got to stop talking to myself."
| |
| | |
| Upon descent into the atmosphere, Incendus was already feeling uneasy. I shouldn't have done this mission, he thought to himself as he looked at Korriban under a starry, dark sky. Korriban is creepy enough, but it's even worse at night. The wind howls, and it makes me think of the voices of the dead Sith that once inhabited this godforsaken spit of land. Suddenly, the radio in the ship shut off.
| |
| | |
| Incendus looked out the window, and was awestruck at what he saw. Out in the distance, there was a hooded black figure, slowly dissipating in the wind. After it had completely disappeared, the ship's entire system shut down. Incendus grabbed his supplies and ejected the seat, landing on his feet while the ship crashed to the ground.
| |
| | |
| "Well, I hope that Zakath's backup that he promised arrives here soon," he said. He picked up his comlink and dialed Zakath's scramble set. When Zakath picked up, Incendus told him what all had happened.
| |
| | |
| "Well this isn't good," said Zakath. "Do you have any leads at all?"
| |
| | |
| "Unfortunately, no. I'm working on it, though," replied Incendus.
| |
| | |
| "Good. Keep up.... danger....retrieve....your backup.....soon." Zakath's signal started breaking up.
| |
| | |
| "Zakath, are you there?"
| |
| | |
| "...zzz.......zzz....zzz." Incendus shut the comlink, and a feeling of great worry overcame him. He turned to the left, and continued walking. He kept going for about two hours.
| |
| | |
| Suddenly, the wind blew greatly from behind Incendus. When he turned around, there was a cave, long and dark. The wind continued to howl behind him, and Incendus knew something was about to happen that he wouldn't like. Even so, he walked on towards fate. As he traversed the cave, he saw skeletons, humanoid skeletons, with many bones. These skeletons were large and unusual, but the most unusual aspect of these skeletons were that they were red. Suddenly, there was a hissing sound, and Incendus activated his lightsaber. Almost immediately, he was knocked down to the ground. He stood, and turned around. There, in front of him was the same figure that he saw entering the atmosphere of the planet.
| |
| | |
| "I've been expecting you," said the figure. "You know me, yet you have not met me. I used to rule many planets with my own empire, in a quest for galactic conquest. Then I was struck down, by my apprentice and his son. I had hoped that they would have sent a much stronger person for me to take over, but I guess you will have to do.
| |
| | |
| Incendus was struck with fear. Palpatine? How is this possible? Incendus looked, and courageously said, "You underestimate me. I am still living. You are just a ghost of your formal self, a mere shell." Incendus, pleased with the courage he had displayed, had regained his confidence. "I will not lose. I will recover those artifacts that you have taken."
| |
| | |
| With this, the ghost of Palpatine let out a large, eerie laugh. "Is that so? I admire your courage, but you are overconfident. Even in death, I am a powerful Sith Lord. Do you not fear me?"
| |
| | |
| "....No. I don't. I don't fear the dead. Now give me what I came for."
| |
| | |
| Again, Palpatine let out a string of laughs. He pulled a silver chalice, with jewels lining the top, out of his cloak. "IS this what you're looking for?"
| |
| | |
| SNAP! The chalice was broken.
| |
| | |
| Immediately, anger flared up within Incendus. He activated the other saber and lunged at Palpatine. He dodged it. Surprisingly, Incendus was actually doing a small amount of damage. The force-ghost of Palpatine was hit twice in the face and knocked down to the ground. But then, Palpatine struck back. He attacked Incendus knocking him to the ground.
| |
| | |
| Incendus was going blank. He could hardly see. Palpatine had one. He was coming towards Incendus, sucking out parts of his spirit to make way for Palpatine's spirit. Suddenly, another ghost came out and attacked Palpatine from the side. Then came another. Incendus' vision was blurry, but he could make out two figures that he had read about in the archives of the Brotherhood's temple library-It was Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Incendus struggled to get up, but made it. He saw Palpatine start to dissipate after he had realized that he was lost.
| |
| | |
| "I will be back. The empire will be restored," said Palpatine. "YOU WILL SEE!!!!!"
| |
| | |
| After this, Incendus started to go unconscious again, exhausted. After struggling for a long time, he eventually let himself go to sleep.
| |
| | |
| Incendus woke up in a bed on the BAC Shadow, where he was greeted by Zakath. Zakath started bombing him with questions, and eventually asked what happened to the artifact.
| |
| | |
| ".....It was destroyed by Palpatine," replied Incendus.
| |
| | |
| "...But that's impossible. Palpatine is dead. He's been dead."
| |
| | |
| "I know. It was his ghost."
| |
| | |
| After a long period of silence, Incendus apologized.
| |
| | |
| "There is really no need to be sorry. An acolyte against a Sith Lord-"
| |
| | |
| "But this was a dead Sith Lord."
| |
| | |
| "Even so, he was obviously still very powerful. And we got the chalice back. It can be prepared, and it's poweres restored, so this was a mission accomplished. I'll let you rest up here." Zakath then exited the room. Andrel then entered the room, and Incendus could sense the hostility between his master and Zakath for a moment. Both Dark Jedi make a resentful glare at each other while passing. I can't wait to learn why my master and Zakath hate each other, Incendus thought to himself. Whatever it is, I will probably find it amusing.
| |
| | |
| "Are you okay Incendus?," asked Andrel.
| |
| | |
| "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for helping me find that chalice."
| |
| | |
| "What happened in that cave?" Andrel asked this as though nothing else was important, as though it was a life or death matter. And for some unknown, complicated reason, Incendus thought that it might be a life or death matter. He told Andrel everything, what had happened, what he didn't understand about it, what he enjoyed about it.For a moment, there was silence. The type of silence that annoyed someone who wanted answers, the type of silence that actually pierced your ears more than noise would. Then Andrel spoke once more.
| |
| | |
| "...Why would two Jedi war heroes come to your aid?" This seemed to be more strange to Andrel than the fact that Incendus had just battled the ghost of a Sith lord. "You are a dark Jedi. I wonder if they know what that chalice is capable of. Wait, do you even know what it's capable of?"
| |
| | |
| Incendus shook his head.
| |
| | |
| "If somebody were to drink from this chalice, their power in the force would multiply. The only problem is that the amount that their power would multiply varies. It's unstable, unsafe. That's why it was locked away. Anyway, you need to rest. Bye."
| |
| | |
| "Bye."
| |
| | |
| Incendus sat there, thinking of what he had seen. Why were Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker there?. Incendus pondered upon this series of events until he reached Selen.
| |
| | |
| == Curiosity ==
| |
| | |
| After his recovery, Incendus felt the urge to ask his master about Zakath. Incendus was friends with Zakath, but he had sensed the hostility between Zakath and his master on The Shadow. This made him anxious to know what was going on between the two. So one day, out of the blue, Incendus asked Andrel about him.
| |
| | |
| "Well...Me and him had a fight in a tournament," said Andrel. "We fought, and we ended up taunting each other a lot. That then resulted in the battle heating up, and me suffering a head injury from being slammed up against a TIE Interceptor. He won the battle, and since then we've been kinda resentful towards each other."
| |
| | |
| "So, basically you both got in a fight, made each other mad, injured each other, and now hate each other," said Incendus.
| |
| | |
| Andrel nodded, grinning at how simple Incendus had made it seem. "Something like that."
| |
| | |
| That night, Incendus spent some time looking through the ACC holo-records, and found this fight. He decided to whatch the video, and was amazed at what he saw.
| |
| | |
| "I have got to qualify for ACC sometime," he muttered to himself. "I also should have gotten some popcorn before I started this video." He kept on replaying the momet when Zakath injured Andrel's head. "I can see why Andrel hates him so much. That crap looked like it hurt." Then he whatched Andrel injure Zakath. "That looked like it hurt really bad. I can't wait to do ACC fights. It looks like I'm really missing out on some stuff."

| == Operation Rolling Thunder ==
| |
| | |
| In 35 ABY, Arcona was preparing to invade the natural satellite moon of Ebaq 9. This being Incendus' first system-wide invasion, Incendus' feelings towards the matter were a mix of nervous and excited. As a member of Qel-Droma, he was being led into battle by Timeros Caesus Entar Arconae, someone he had had a marginal amount of contact with, but enough to know that he was a good leader and respected member of the brotherhood. Incendus had read about the battle that took place here seven years ago between the Yuuzhan Vong and the Republic, and how the ailing Admiral Gial Ackbar had led the Republic to a victory.
| |
| | |
| "So now this is a fight between Arcona and the Chiss," he muttered to himself. "From what I hear, Soulfire is leading the attack, followed by Galeres and Qel-Droma. This'll give me good experience I guess, but I was anticipating a Jedi War for me to prove myself. I still don't feel comfortable here and don't think I will until others have seen my prowess in battle, and I have become respected by others. I guess this little operation will have to do."
| |
| | |
| The word "little" was a big understatement.
| |

| == Shadow Gate Mission 2: The Assassination of Kilix Solusar ==
| |
| | |
| In 35 ABY, while Operation Rolling Thunder was still under preparation, Incendus was sent on his first assassination mission to kill a member of the Jedi High Council on Coruscant. His target was Kilix Solusar, the brother of another Jedi High Council member named Kam Solusar. This Jedi had interfered with one of Shadow Gate's racket businesses on Coruscant, liberating it from the clutches of the organization. After a long period of thought, Scelestus sent Incendus to liberate Kilix's life from his clutches. Incendus had eagerly agreed to do the mission.
| |
| | |
| "I've seen the records on this man. He has lost his skill, he's getting rusty. He'll be easily killed," said Incendus.
| |
| | |
| "Don't underestimate the enemy," replied Scelestus.
| |
| | |
| "Don't underestimate my eagerness."
| |
| | |
| Scelestus couldn't hide the grin on his face from this remark. "You'll be sent to Coruscant on an LAAT, with backup in 6 other LAAT's escorting you in case you need it. You will also have Zakath above in case you need aerial support once you land. You can storm the temple, and this does not have to be a discreet mission, because most of the Jedi are out on dispatch to Kr. The remaining Jedi won't know who or what we are, and we already have an operative from Soulfire off to rewire the security, so that the cameras play pre-recorded footage. Good luck."
| |
| | |
| Upon arrival in the dead of night, Incendus was amazed at how much little his home planet had changed. There were still lights everywhere, busy ships zipping around, bad traffic, and drunken fools cussing at each other. Yep, this is home, he thought to himself. Now we just have to find the strip clubs with Twi'lek dancers and see how much they have changed. Incendus' ships landed in one of the docking bays. Immediately, he was confronted by a Zabrak who worked as a guard.
| |
| | |
| "We don't allow unauthorized military transports here." Incendus waved his hand to the user, trying to use a force technique called "persuasion" to make the Zabrak ignore his presence, which failed, miserably. "Sir, what the hell are you doing?"
| |
| | |
| Damn. I guess you have to use persuasion before you're spotted. "Can't you make one exception? We are Republic troops."
| |
| | |
| "I'm sorry sir, that is not how it works."
| |
| | |
| "Okay then." Incendus then pulled out a dagger and then concealed it so that the Zabrak didn't see him, then balled his hand into a fist. He then looked both ways to make sure that nobody was looking, and held his fist up to the Zabrak. "Maybe these credits would interest you." He then opened his hand. The Zabrak looked, and before he could tell that it was empty, Incendus smacked him in the nose, then used his other hand to pull out his dagger, afterwards stabbing the Zabrak in the knee, then incapacitating him by use of a pressure point. "Treat his wounds, then tie him up. Then you can set him in the back of the ship." They then activated their stealth field generators, and made their way to the Jedi Temple.
| |
| | |
| At the foot of the temple, Incendus started to feel the nerves of his men acting up. "Don't fear these Jedi. There is only one Jedi master, the rest consist of seven padawans, five knights, and fifty vanguards, according to intel, and I plan to deal with the Jedi Master myself. They then snuck in through the entrance leading to the library. "cloaking devices off. Let's storm this temple," whispered Incendus to his men. Immediately, the soldiers became visible again, and bullets started flying at the temple vanguard and the padawans and knights. Incendus took out his armory saber, and released the shimmering blade.
| |
| | |
| Incendus then used the style of his family, Krayt Jinn-Ryu, to cut through the guards, also killing three padawans and one knight in the process. He then put his hands over the mouth of one of his opponents, a female Zeltron vanguard, and drug her into a secluded room.
| |
| | |
| "I don't want to make you suffer. Where is the Jedi master who they left to guard this temple?" asked Incendus, a hint of anger being distinguished in his voice.
| |
| | |
| "I'll never tell you," replied the vanguard, with slight fear yet tremendous courage showing in her voice.
| |
| | |
| "Look, I don't want to hurt you. Where the hell is that Jedi Master?"
| |
| | |
| "You're wasting your time. You won't get it out of me."
| |
| | |
| Rage boiled up inside of Incendus, and he immediately used force-strike to hit her across the leg. The sharp pain was enough to make her let out a small scream, but she still wouldn't tell him.
| |
| | |
| "Tell me where he is, or it's going to get worse than that." When she remained silent, Incendus then used force-grip to grab her arm and pull on it, until she let out another scream, but still put up resistance. After that, Incendus decided it was time to actually do some damage. He used the force to throw her against the wall, and then pulled her back, and used his other arm to eject the blade on his lightsaber. He then threatened her.
| |
| | |
| "Do you want me to give you more holes than Mother Nature intended for you to have!!? Then tell me where that Jedi Master is." She finally gave in.
| |
| | |
| "He's in the training room."
| |
| | |
| "I need you to escort me. After what just happened-" Incendus then let out a sigh. "After what just happened, I can't let you get killed. You're coming with me, as a captive." Incendus saw the young woman's face light up. "You're really that glad about being a captive?"
| |
| | |
| "Under the circumstances, yes."
| |
| | |
| "What circumstances?"
| |
| | |
| "These Jedi treat me like crap, and if I don't come, I'll get killed anyway."
| |
| | |
| "So how do you feel about me killing these Jedi?"
| |
| | |
| "I just told you that they treat me like crap", She said, with a hint of irritation in her voice. "These knights, padawans, even some masters treat me inferior. When I was younger to this job, a Knight and his master raped me. And nothing was done about it after I reported this. They didn't believe me. My husband didn't even care. So I'm not going to side with them."
| |
| | |
| "Okay then. Lead me to him. What's you're name again?"
| |
| | |
| "Lina."
| |
| | |
| When they got to the training room, the master was on the floor, meditating. This amused Incendus.
| |
| | |
| "So, Great and All-Powerful Jedi Master, you sit here and think while the padawans and knights out there die? How admirable." Lina, however, was silent, and her face began to look nervous and scared. "What's wrong with you?" Incendus asked her.
| |
| | |
| "That's the one who raped me," she said.
| |
| | |
| Then Incendus understood. "So, you've fallen to the Dark Side. I should have known. That explains why your padawans out there fight without you."
| |
| | |
| The Jedi rose, and let out a shrill laugh. "So you think you can beat me? I can tell that you are still young in the force."
| |
| | |
| "Don't underestimate me."
| |
| | |
| With that, both of their lightsabers lit, and they both took a stance.
| |
| | |
| "Lina, get back," said Incendus. Both Dark Jedi started circling, like vultures. Incendus decided to make the first move. He plunged at the dark Jedi, who then dodged it easily, and tried to strike horizontally. Incendus then did a backflip over the blade, and slashed at the Dark Jedi, who jumped back.
| |
| | |
| "So you have some amount of skill. You seem to fight with the ancient style Krayt Jinn-Ryu, am I right?"
| |
| | |
| This comment surprised Incendus. "..... What would you know about Krayt Jinn-Ryu? And how did you know that I am using it by observing just those moves?"
| |
| | |
| The opponent then plunged at Incendus, who dodged it by jumping left, then striking at the cloaked Kilix, who blocked it, putting them both in a saber-lock.
| |
| | |
| "I also practice it. The way you did that flip, and the stance you took... they are both unique to Krayt Jinn-Ryu."
| |
| | |
| "How do you practice it? This style was unique to my family!"
| |
| | |
| "You're drunken scumbag of a father taught me." He could sense the anger in Incendus rise.
| |
| | |
| Incendus then used force-strike to pop the man in the face, then used force-grip to snap his arm, and then used force-throw to push him back. He then plunged at the Dark Jedi, who rolled out of the way, got up, and slashed at Incendus, who blocked it once again.
| |
| | |
| "You are stronger than I thought. You may have some hope yet," said Kilix, who then glanced at Lina. "Let's see how you do under pressure." He then used the force to pick up Lina, who started choking. Drop your lightsaber, or she dies. Incendus showed reluctance, but when he saw Kilix's grip on Lina's neck grow tighter, his lightsaber dropped. This made a grin appear upon the Jedi master's face. He dropped the Zeltron to the ground, and then said, "You incompetent fool. You would lower your guard for an enemy, especially one that you only met today?"
| |
| | |
| "I would lower my weapon, not my guard, for the innocent," responded Incendus.
| |
| | |
| "Such compassion should not be seen among a Dark Jedi. Now you will die." As soon as these words left his mouth, the door exploded, and Incendus' troops rushed in, shooting Kilix and giving Incendus a long enough distraction to grab his lightsaber and stab the Jedi master. The Jedi then dropped to the ground.
| |
| | |
| "..... That.... was not... fair..." he said in a harsh voice.
| |
| | |
| "Bringing that woman into this fight was not fair."
| |
| | |
| The Jedi master then smiled, and said, "Such compassion will be your downfall."
| |
| | |
| "Lack of compassion was yours, old man."
| |
| | |
| With that, the former master's body stopped. He was dead.
| |
| | |
| As they all marched out of the room, Incendus asked, "how many did we lose?"
| |
| | |
| "None," replied the commanding enforcer. "It seems that you were right. They were all weak."
| |
| | |
| "Any casualties?"
| |
| | |
| "Two of our men got shot, and fourteen more were cut. It seems that they wanted us alive."
| |
| | |
| "I don't blame them. Good work men. Now let's get out of here."
| |
| | |
| "Sir, should we not call in Zakath to bomb the building?"
| |
| | |
| "No. We were already as loud as we could be to render this mission indiscreet. Even so, Scelestus said that it didn't have to be discreet. The Jedi are already semi-aware of Shadow Gate's presence, but they won't know who did this."
| |
| | |
| "But sir, there are witnesses outside the temp-"
| |
| | |
| "Those witnesses don't know who Shadow Gate is either. Now we have to leave, the cops are probably coming."
| |
| | |
| "Yes sir. But what of that girl?" He pointed at Lina.
| |
|
| |
|
| "She will be brought to Selen, interrogated, and set free."

| | In 30 ABY, the Sith was given his first taste of warfare. Recovering from the Horizons Plague and Zoraan’s attempts at revenge, the Brotherhood now found itself in conflict with the One Sith. After Muz Ashen issued the order for the Brotherhood to conquer their new enemy, Kesyk was dispatched to aid the Arconan war efforts on Barghebba. After some time spent on the battlefield, Saal was tasked with a new mission. The Sith would operate within a covert Arconan strike team comprised of other Dark Jedi, their mission being to perform a raid on a Mecrosa outpost. |

| When they returned to Selen, they had forgotten that the Zabrak guard was still in the back.
| | The strike team, composed of seven Dark Jedi, took heavy casualties, to the point that by the time the Arconans had infiltrated the stronghold, cleared it of enemies and deactivated the anti-aircraft artillery around the base to make way for Arconan freighters, there were only three remaining: Kesyk, a fellow Sith knight and an acolyte. Upon completion of the mission, Kesyk plunged a Mecrosan dagger from a nearby corpse into the acolyte’s heart. Being the strongest warriors of the group, Kesyk and the knight had plotted to provide minimal aid and coverage to their allies, allowing their comrades die and even killing some in the midst of the chaos so that they could thin out some of the weaker Sith competition within their ranks. Kesyk and his master also believed that a scroll containing the teachings of Darth Kraygus, and hinting at the location of his scattered strongholds, was stored within the confines of the warehouse, which had supposedly been one of the Sith Lord’s safe houses in his time. After locating and recovering it through the Force, Kesyk and the knight made a pact of silence, agreeing to contend that their allies had fallen to the Mecrosa’s defensive tactics and that only they had survived. This raised the eyebrows of some Arconan military officers, as the strike team was considered sufficient in size and was expected to make easy work of this operation, but Kamalis Creed’s influence within this Arconan military ranks allowed him to keep the results of the operation under the radar. Together, he and his apprentice planned to work in the shadows to locate the vast resources that Darth Kraygus was said to have left behind, and use it to build their own Sith Empire under his teachings, unbeknownst to the other members of the Brotherhood. |

In the shadows, he and his master worked to build the foundations for an extensive network of spies, allied politicians, and a plethora of unsavory black market connections. This network reached across the galaxy, and would serve as both an important intelligence-gathering effort for the Sith duo and as a channel of power which they would use to excel in their goals. Eventually, this would lead to the creation of the pirate organization known as Black Flag. |

Joining the Brotherhood
