Battleteam Viata, one of two battleteams of House Liath, is comprised of Gray Jedi who have dedicated themselves to the pursuit of knowledge. Its members are shamans who are capable of communing with spirits, divining the future, ritualistic force powers and are notorious for their unusual views on life and death compared to their sister house, Mortis. The clandestine battleteam remains almost catatonic presently, with little known about it even amongst the rest of the house. However, for those within, they know the Viata are merely biding their time for the opportune moment to rise up and beat down the galaxy in submission!

Terra Firma
A plan is just a plan, regardless of how good it sounds. For the crew who had faced hardship after hardship, their new home on Salam seemed to be the cherry on top. It was a harsh world without a breathable atmosphere. Their new home was inside prefab structures dropped inside a caldera underneath the surface. Over time though they realized the potential of the planet and in some way, their entire journey was only improved by the metaphorical meaning this planet served to their cause. Where there was no life, Liath lives to create it.
