New Sadow Palace is the home and ruling seat of Clan Naga Sadow. Located on the planet Sepros in the Orian system, Sadow Palace is where the Overlord and his consul rule the clan from.

The Last Breath Mine is located beneath Sadow Palace.

History

Upon first establishing operations in the Orian system in 19 ABY the clan needed a new base from which to operate. Having established Sepros as the planet to house their new headquarters, a scout party was sent out to survey the land searching for any former structures from the planet's history with the Sith Empire and Urias Orian.

The principal Palace of Orian was destroyed some years ago during a duel between Kiln Tobasa and Trevarus Caerick but seven temples located in a circle around the former palace remained standing. The clan chose one which had been built to protect an underground mine to serve as the new Sadow Palace.

Description

As with all the old fortresses of Urias Orian Sadow Palace is an example of excess. It's walls are shaped from a marble-like structure and possess an unnatural, sometimes unnerving, elegance.

The main spire extends several floors but remains mostly hidden beneath the canopy of the planet's foliage and only the observation dome extends above the treetops. The upper floors contain most of the electronics and modern equipment such as the HoloNet relay and various tactical consoles which are linked up with the Dlarit Security Force base on Tarthos.

The underground floors house the quarters of the overlord, consul and proconsul. The palace also houses the clan's near-legendary library of Sith artifacts, tomes and holocrons. Among the artifacts stored in Sadow Palace are the Sword of Sadow and the Holocron of Tulak Hord.

The deepest levels serve as the quarters for the Dlarit Army detachment assigned to protect Sadow Palace. Unlike most of DSF those assigned to Sadow Palace are aware of the true nature of their masters and have undergone addition conditioning and brainwashing to ensure their loyalty. The troops also oversee the Last Breath Mine in the lowest depths of the palace.
