| Alongside the department Professors, one or two Assistant Professors are kept on staff in the Shadow Academy to help any staff member temporarily while their assistance is needed. Assistants may be called to help with any department of the Shadow Academy, with the general feeling being that they will one day move up into a full Professor position. To qualify to become an Assistant Professor, one must meet the following requirements:
